We asked for the example photo with pink polish but in purple. Showed him a photo and he said he could do it. 2+ Hours later that's what we left with. He complained the whole time that the design was too hard and he would never do it again. Said "kill me" multiple times and then blamed my kid for picking a high maintenance design that he wasn't able to replicate painting by hand. I went into Only Nails with low expectations because I have never had a 5-star experience at any nail salon that was not a full-service spa/salon. I would say that Only Nails met my expectations, but did not exceed them. I got your average manicure and it was done fine, nothing great. The nail tech clipped my cuticle too close and it bled a little, but she apologized and stopped the bleeding right away. The customer service was sub-par (as with most other nail salons I have been to...): my nail tech was constantly loudly talking to the other techs in another language and a few times completely turned away (stopped working on my nails) to glance at a video one of the other techs was watching on her phone. Also, after my nails dried was standing at the payment counter for a few minutes before anyone noticed I was there - my nail tech had already begun doing a pedicure on a coworker. All in all, if you are looking for your average manicure in an environment similar to your other average nail salon, that is what you'll get at Only Nails. read more

This was my first time at Only Nails (my go-to for nails is Nails Design II by Vocellis!) and I went for a wax. I originally went to Hair Cuttery but the wait was at least 15 minutes and I had groceries in the car so I went next door to Only Nails and they took me right away. The guy who greeted me was not very welcoming and just told me where to go for the wax. The lady who die yet wax was nice enough and she did a good job. They're thinner than I prefer, but she didn't ask how I wanted them and I didn't say (hoping she'd just "clean up" the shape I already had). The place wasn't very clean looking so definitely a star lost on that & when I was leaving, the man who greeted me was straight up picking his nose. Like knuckle deep y'all. All I could think was I hope he washes his hands before doing someone's nails! I stopped in out of convenience, but I won't be back. read more

I have been coming to this salon for years and I'm not sure what is going on but it seems the owner (he appears to be in charge and is always shouting at people as they come in to see what they're getting done) has become more and more rude. I got a pedicure today and it had been about a week over my normal monthly pedicure but my feet weren't bad because I get them done regularly. While he was working on them he kept making comments like "this is hard work" or "it's been too long". I ignored the comments and kept reading but honestly what should I say..... was he expecting an apology from me. He finished up and said "feels better right". Then he had me come to the drying station and after only a couple minutes he looked at me and said "you're done". Now I had a couple other errands to run and wasn't going to mess up my polish so I was going to make sure they were dry but not 30 seconds passed and he said " you can go" like he was shooing me out. The nerve, I honestly think they do a good job but I don't feel like I should have to deal with passive aggressive behavior like this while getting a pedicure. There is a lady named Tran there that is super sweet... and a few others that I have had help me but this man really isn't very nice at all and I don't think I'll be returning. read more

Fabulous job on my feet but I came in for my hands. When he emptied the wash liner there was black mold all the way around the overflow and the drain was really slow as it was also gunked up w/black mold and who knows what else--like a bathtub. It was disgusting! Then when I put my feet under the dryer I noticed they were all completely caked w/so much dust on top where the wire grates are there was no air circulation & it could really have been a fire hazard. The guy might have been my age w/his salt & pepper hair, but he was a extremely rude. Disgusted to have me there and made no effort to hide it. I usually give people a pass but found out this guy has a history & it's just wrong. For all I know he might be the owner. I arrived at 6:30 pm and had stain on my hands (I did NOT expect miracles just someone to kindly assist me). I'd scrubbed a lot so I thought maybe if I had someone soak my nails and do my cuticles well (and use some of the products for feet or even soaking liquid for hands!) that they might look better. He clipped my fingernails while standing next to me before I got out of the pedi chair. Took a chunk of my thumb off in the process. When I got home and related the story to my husband he looked up the reviews and realized this guy has done this before!!!! That made me angry. I knew I had outdoor work to do and didn't even ask for polish--he was done by 7:30 (they close at 8 pm--I didn't realize he was packing up until I had my feet under the dryer) but not before yelling at me ("just go wash your hands!"), and insulting me by slapping down a cold bowl of water w/no solution in it for soaking my hands for 10 seconds, and making it clear at the end I'd ruined his night, then having the nerve to ask for a bigger tip (I didn't want to tip at all but actually worried he'd throw a fit if I didn't), even though it was the most I've ever paid for a mani-pedi. I plan on calling the health department about the basins & the dryers. read more

I have been going to Only Nails for 20 years. I've tried other places but always come back here. They always do a great job when I get a manicure and pedicure and make sure that I am satisfied with what they do. I get my eyebrows waxed also. Kim, the manager, is so attentive and kind. The staff is great and I can have anyone in the shop do my nails and know that itwill be perfect. Highly recommend this shop. read more

Loved this place! Usually get my nails done and being a groomer they break easily in a week. I have sensitive hands! Paulette was really gentle and 3 week later they are STILL on my fingers. I love how nice and patient they were with me and my friend. Great place definitely coming back. read more

i would not recommend this place for eyebrow waxing. I let my eyebrows grow out for a few weeks so i could get them waxed and look nice... Huge mistake. They are uneven and too thin. There have been some improvements at this nail shop since I was here last, over 3 years ago. The shop is still sandwiched between Giant and Hair Cuttery, but seems well staffed and cleaner and new pedi chairs. I was lucky enough to get there mid afternoon on a weekday, so no waiting (and staff were sitting around waiting for customers to walk in). They have several gel colors and matching gel/not gel packs for mani/pedi customers ( this is what I chose). The only problem was I was trying to choose from the color on the bottle cap; they don't have (or didn't show me) the "color wheel" of gel on nails for true color selection. The pedi chair is fantastic (ask for a newer one). Really strong massage setting is available. The tech was good - asked if water temp was okay (it was) and tried to upsell spa (no), extra leg/foot massage ($10/10 min) (no). She took a nice long while on feet and was removing the gel on my hands while doing it (foil wrap on nails with acetone), so it slid right off. Good filing/shaping and extra gel layer. No shoulder massage but competent job on hands and feet. I also got lip wax - not too hot, clean room, not too red after. Price for total was $60 and it looked like you can add tip to total (I used cash, though). read more

I walked into this salon for lip wax and eyebrow wax. The staff greeted me curtly and told me where to go for waxing. The woman in the waxing room greeted me with a "What do you want?" and when I responded, she looked at my face and said "Oh my God." I ignored it, not certain at all what she was exclaiming about. She began to wax my face and the woman was so rough,ripping the waxing strips off my face over and over. She did not speak to me about how I wanted my brows and just proceeded to pluck away after doing a less than stellar job waxing. She missed spots and I asked her to go over them again. She left cotton ball stuck all over my face and scraped my face with the tweezers at one point. In the end, my eyebrows look fine but I will not be going back. read more

While having a pedicure I was not even asked if they could use a razor, I found out by feeing it on my feet! Also, during my manicure the tech was talking on her phone. In addition, after about a week after my gel mani started peeling I went in and complained. They told me that they could not fix it and would not give me any sort of refund. I can't compare to other nail salons in the area, but my experience was per usual, customer service was as I usually suspect for this kind of nail salon, but the quality of the manicure was pretty bad. I got a gel manicure and first she was very rough on my nails trying to get off the previous gel and almost filed them to nothing so they were paper thin. And she did a very bad job of shaping my nails and then didn't even use the fine grit file to smooth them out, needless to say I noticed how jagged some of my nails were when I left and of course I had to try to smooth them out with a fine grit file which then messed up the manicure, that is supposed to last for weeks. I do not suggest going to this salon unless the other salons in Warrenton are just awful! read more

A man did it this time, I got the $55 spa pedicure and planned to add a manicure after. Realizing I was going to be late I cancelled the manicure and asked to pay. It's hard to see this salon from the road. It's hidden in the shopping center next to Giant. But, that being said, it's the best place to go in Warrenton. Sure...the place across the street looks all clean and shiny, but you usually wait 30+ minutes to get any service and they're definitely not friendly there. Here it's a total different ball game. Super friendly and very attentive. Granted there's no fancy indoor fountain and diamonds hanging from the ceiling, but I'd rather have a really good pedicure/manicure that is worth the money than to be paying for ridiculous gaudy decorations. read more

This nail salon is one of the best salons I have found....anywhere. I travel extensively around the country and I am always leery of trying someplace new. my nails are very important to me and my business requires that I look good at all times. this was just a spur of the moment stop....I had been told about other salons in the area, but for some reason, I decided to stop here. I went in and they were able to take me right away. My nail tech did both my pedicure and my manicure. He was meticulous in his care of my feet and when it came to my hands, he took the time to undo a very poor job done at another salon and treated my nails to one of the best acrylic/gel manicures I have ever had. His name is Kenny and he doesn't work on Mondays, but I will be sure to stop and see him again when I am in the area. I can't say enough good about the salon. the other techs were professional, the air was fresh, the place spotless and there wasn't allot of chatter. Just good work being done and happy customers coming and going. price was very good and the selection of nail polish was more than enough. I only wish Kenny lived closer to me. For years I used to come here monthly for a mani/pedi but about a year ago I had a few horrible experiences. I always felt pressure to buy buy buy but this one time it was horrible. That plus a painful experience and a horrible toe nail infection days after my pedi, I started going less. Thinking everyone had bad days, I gave them another try. The woman cut my foot when her instrument slipped. After that I didn't return. Until today when my husband wanted to go. Horrible. The man cut my toe, didn't push my cuticles, was nasty when I didn't want a more expensive spa pedi. I cancelled my mani and let him finish my pedi. In fact he's finishing now and you can tell he's hurrying to do someone getting something more expensive done. I will never come back here. Last year I found Zen,it's further away by like 3 miles and it's cheaper, cleaner and calmer. I work in OSHA and was happy to see they way they clean the tub and instruments. The fact that this place doesn't have adequate sterilization visible should have been a clue not to come here.
