When the reverb on my amp wasn't working I asked a place downtown how much to fix it and they said over $100 if the tubes needed replacing. Gorham bros told me tubes are actually cheap and fixed me up for $70. They had my amp working good as new in less than a week. They buy used equipment and are happy to make a deal with you for store credit. I traded in a guitar I don't use anymore for a brand new practice amp! TLDR: if you want pedals, used equipment or repairs, go to these guys. They've got a helpful, honest and fair staff that will help you find the right stuff and get your gear fixed.

The stairs in the balcony section are steep but I found the seats, themselves, to be quite comfortable. The sound and view from my seats were also always excellent. The ushers are very helpful and friendly as well. I can't wait to come back for another performance!

The venue made check in quick and easy which was appreciated. The theatre did feel crowded at times but we were able to navigate to our seats with no issue. Bathrooms located on upper and lower level were clean. Food and drinks were available including beer and wine. Food options were limited to candy and snack items. The sound carried well for our concert and the seats were okay. Not the most comfortable but I understand it is an older theatre. I only wish we had more room for dancing during the show, as it was a tight squeeze. The theatre has many striking features that give it a grand feeling. You can look around and see history in the design. Overall, a good experience seeing David Byrne in concert here.

I have started playing the guitar for the last three years after playing the trumpet for my lifetime. Mostly known as a place for renting, buying and fixing musical instruments, this place is so much more.., I've purchased instruments for my own children over the years but now I've discovered they do lessons, sell non instrumental items like a chimes to get attention of a class as well as books of many levels to start or continue your love of music! On Christmas Eve, Genna and Ray helped me restring a broken G string on my acoustic guitar and helped me buy valve oil for a newly acquired trumpet and books to play Disney tunes on the trumpet. Genna kindly took my phone call and explained what they could do for my broken string. After identifying what I needed, Ray swiftly repaired my guitar so I could continue to get better during this break. In the past, I have had a "drum corps" at my junior high where my students could make the transition to math class by playing Home Depot buckets with drumsticks. Music and Arts donated the drumsticks when I explained what I was doing. This is a great place represented by kind people like Genna and Ray. Stop by or give them a call!
