I've been to this location many times but only the ATM outside. Today I went inside. Such a nice look and the Christmas Tree all decorated was awesome. I had a problem with a new card. Password not sent. So, I had to actually come inside the bank. Like, park my vehicle and walk in. lol. The bank being open Christmas Eve was great for me but they close early. We have been with this institution since they opened this branch in Gresham . This last year we have had nothing but problems and mainly online and phone service. The most recent issue was today. We found a bill pay account I recently set up went to the wrong payer. OnPoint is saying I have to recover my money! They sent money to someone I did not authorize and it's my problem? ‍ maybe OnPoint is now to"big" for this customer.... Update- I have tried for a week to work with OnPoint which was a waste of time . People beware of their bill pay , there are glitches and OnPoint will not take responsibility for those glitches . We now will have change direct deposits and a whole slew of financial information to switch banks read more

OK, I am revising my review. After posting it, Reagan reached out to me to try and help. He got Nick involved and he was AMAZING! He took the time to research the issue and find where the missing payments were. Onpoint did have them all along, but had put 2 in a different account. He was able to find them and transfer them to the car loan. He did all of this within a day. Not one of the other people I talked to for weeks over there, would even offer to research. I am so grateful to both of these guys for helping get this fixed. The other people I still am not happy with over there, but these two deserve a ton of thanks!!! read more

I left the big banks for obvious reasons and headed into this credit union that my daughter recommended to me. (She and I also got 25.00 just for that!) At any rate, I dig this place. I think that they must have decent management because I see the same tellers all the time and so they must dig this place as well. I appreciate getting free checks that they just print out right on the spot as needed. I appreciate that I can get a NEW debit card right on the spot if I was to lose it. They seem to be very current with the technology in that way. I also really like the fact that they are open until 530pm M-Th and 6pm on Friday. They are also open on Saturday until 2pm. It's not just banking hours anymore. It's working people hours. That's cool. read more

I've been locked out of mobile banking a few times, and had a few other problems, mostly small. However.... Recently Onpoint took a security precaution after a breach and force closed cards. Mine being one of them. I was never notified and stuck with a card, which was running as a stolen card. I called several numbers and didn't get much help until I wrote a hideous review. Then everyone was very helpful at resolving the situation. Overall I have enjoyed banking with them. But I think they let things like this slip through the cracks. read more

Teller Barb caught something in my checking account that could have caused me serious problems (I had been told a check had been cashed for a house payment, when in fact it had not and I would have been late). Another highly unsatisfactory experience at the Gresham branch. My son is in the market to purchase an ATV, so I encouraged him to embark on the loan process with our credit union, as we both bank there (and overall are quite happy with the experience). He initially met with Marco, who informed my son Kyle that OnPoint used either the purchase price-or the NADA "high" value, whichever was less, to determine the loan amount and corresponding down payment. This worked well for the ATV my son was interested in, so he provided all his documents in a timely manner, and reached out to the seller of the ATV to collect OnPoint's required documents from him as well. Well over a week into the process, Marco informs my son that "there must have been some miscommunication", and that OnPoint uses the NADA "low" value-which is so low, the down payment would be over 5,000.00 on a 7,000.00 ATV. My son was justifiably frustrated, as he is extremely organized and a machinist by trade, which requires extreme attention to detail. Having a lending background myself, I thought I'd stop by the branch to get the facts. Marco was at lunch, so I spoke with Paige-who was very pleasant, but did not appear very familair with lending guidelines. I asked her very directly what the credit union based value on, to which she replied "the system just populates a value". I pressed her for more specifics, so I knew whether it was even worth proceeding, and she happily did some research to determine the specific guidelines. She concluded that the value was based on the NADA HIGH VALUE, and confirmed it twice more, when I asked if she was certain. I told her this was in direct conflict with what Marco told my son, and she suggested having Marco call me upon his return from lunch. Marco did call me, and stated that the value is based on the lesser of the purchase price, or the NADA LOW VALUE-which in this case, means the loan would be pointless to pursue. If my son had 5,000.00 for a down payment, he'd just pay cash for a slightly less nice ATV. OnPoint wasted our time, the seller's time, and potentionall will waste YOUR time. Hopefully as a company, they're able to invest more time in the development and training of their employees, in the future. read more

I have had continuous issues with OnPoint. First someone duplicated a check which I deposited one time, they have taken my money countless times and put it back for apparent "issues", my fiancé and I have contacted them time after time trying to figure out why our money randomly disappears and comes back again and again. And they always apologize. Now my account says a ZERO balance... we're finding a new bank today. This has been a rollercoaster and it's now a toss up if we will have money in our bank to get groceries or pay rent! read more

Love this bank!!! We had a fee from our insurance because they couldn't withdrawal the money from our account. We went in and had no idea about it until the teller informed us. They had the charges reversed for us! The tellers are super awesome and helpful, not fake at all. I recommend this bank to everyone !!! read more

Have had bank accounts in the UK and several bank accounts in the US. This is my first credit union account and by far it is the best. Had lots of money stolen from my account (not the credit unions fault) in 09 and they couldn't have been more helpful. Will never have another bank account again. Credit unions are the way to go!!!! read more

Since a few years a go I was opened account with OnPointCU they almost never disappoint me. It's the first bank which trust to gave me a credit card line in America. I opened my account with OnPoint around June 2017 to consolidate my debt. I applied for a personal loan first and was denied without the loan officer asking if I had collateral I wanted to put down (which I did). She then left a pending credit card application open while I brought my pay stubs. I brought them the following business day and called several days to get ahold of her only to find out that she had gone on vacation without passing my application off to anyone else. My application when through three different people, and it took them three weeks after that to notify me that my application was approved. After going in for a few months to make my payments, I was so dissatisfied with the wait times and customer service that I decided to transfer my debt consolidation balance to another credit card with a much worse rate because I just didn't wan to deal with OnPoint anymore. When I emailed them to obtain the payoff address that my other institution could send the credit card payoff to, I was given an address in a different state. My institution sent the check there, and I paid two months' worth of interest at both institution due to OnPoint's error. When I finally realized the check had not been received, I went into the branch and obtained the correct payoff address from the assistant branch manager. She tried to make it seem as though my institution sending the payoff made the mistake until o showed her the email with the incorrect address that I received from OnPoint. I then had another payoff and that one was posted with no problem. I overpayed by $90 and that was refunded to me a few days after the payoff. Then I found out that after my credit card was paid off, and I was refunded for overpaying, that my account was charged interest on a $0.00 balance. Please do not open an account here. This institution is so unorganized and the staff have no sense of accountability. This is the worst experience I have ever had anyway, and I used to bank at Wells Fargo... I will never stop telling people about my horrible experience at this financial institution. read more
