I hired ONR Renovations (Nisan Cohen) to build a second-story addition to my home. Despite paying over $115,000, the project remains incomplete after 5+ months. Communication has become nearly nonexistent, and what was delivered has been a disaster. And now, multiple licensed contractors are quoting over $60,000 just to finish what's left. The contract clearly stated that brick would be used on the exterior -- Nisan later tried to deny this despite it being in writing as an "honest mistake". I've now had multiple systems professionally inspected, and the findings are alarming: * Plumbing and HVAC are not up to code * It appears the work was done by an unlicensed handyman * Multiple violations that must now be redone, delaying occupancy and adding thousands in extra costs * never validated the licenses under the permit and kept lying to me for months that everything is on track. I had to go to the city to find out. Because of this company's dishonest, greedy and negligent practices, I've been forced to take legal action. I've lost money, time, and trust -- and I strongly warn others: do not hire ONR Renovations. Contractors like this make homeowners suffer while they hide behind excuses. After dealing with a bunch of fishy contractors to paint my exterior home, I came across ONR renovations and knew that I would award the job to them. They ended replacing my roof as well since we had hail damage and also had them dealing with the insurance process and I couldn't be happier. Great communication and very polite.
