I reminded them of the promised $40. but they said inspection took longer than they thought. Lack of integrity. Plus, they charged $943 for the part which sells for $250 to $450 at the online Canadian parts stores. That is over 100% markup. A bad driveshaft is easy to diagnose and replace. With their hidden fees and markups, the bill came to $1432.55.
