The staff works like a well oiled machine. The care I received was top notch. I feel completely comfortable, and have tremendous amount of trust. Dr Reid and Dr Silver have an excellent reputation, and I know others she has treated. She fights hard for her patients. The nurses are top notch, very attentive, work great together, always smiling, handle emergencies with quick precision. I've been super impressed. The lack of one star is due to the rest of the hospital. I honestly feel like, when they know I'm being treated my Dr Reid, they jump into action, but if I'm there for some other issue, I always run into weird scheduling issues, delays, failures to call me back. Like I said, I've only experienced that outside of the Cancer and radiation department. But no matter what, I will never go to strong hospital. I know more people who have gone to strong, and left in a body bag, then I know who have gone and walked out. I am absolutely not kidding. RGH, may have some system issues, but their Drs really care. You can see it, and feel it. Their staff tries hard, they are just really busy, and working a ton of hours. But they genuinely care. Unlike other places.

I have nothing but good things to say in respect to the providers. They made me feel well cared for and helped to manage my pain post surgery. The only difficulty I found with my stay was getting a room after surgery. It was very hard to rest and recover when waiting for hours to be taken to a room with an actual bed. The communication regarding this was frustrating, as I kept being told it was going to happen soon with no action. It was no fault of the nurse who was caring for me, as I continued to hear them call for a room to be prepared. Once this was resolved my experience improved. The room was clean and well kept. My room had its own tv and private bathroom. The food was decent and I was happy to have options to choose from if I did not want to eat the scheduled menu item for the day. Parking is paid with hourly rates.

The nurses said their equipment was crappy and it wouldn't help so they didn't do it. I'm now permanently crippled. Six years with a broken spine thanks to WellNow. Misdiagnosed again!? Yes. I had an infected cyst that they prescribed acne medication for. A week later I was rushed to the ER for the infection that spread. Eleven more days in the hospital. The referral to a surgeon went to the angriest surgeon in the world who openly complained about me being referred to his completely empty office. He was a personal friend of the WellNow doctor so he got the referral. The website allows you to schedule an appointment, but it doesn't mean you have an appointment. You have to wait until the never before mentioned "confirmation system" reaches out. The email confirming your appointment? That's not confirmation. You have to wait for a phone call that is sent the day AFTER your appointment. WellNow now requires time travel ability for a visit!

I arrived 15 minutes early, but ended up waiting 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. This alone should justify my poor review of this place. The doctor wasn't late for any legitimate reason, other than that he was having such a grand time with the patient before me. Again, 45 minutes - you'd think any professional would take this into consideration and say sorry, I have another patient. Worse, the doctor rushed through my appointment to make his next appointment. Now the materials they provide, the current-events information related to your trip, all in an effort to aid you during your stay - you can find all this information in a Google search. They print you out pre-written statistical materials, put together in weak binding and hand it off to you as something exclusive. You won't look at it before or during your trip, I promise. You should be fine with your own research. The merchandise they sell are non-brands and overpriced. Sprays, nets, aid kits, they are all available elsewhere and online for a lower cost. Worse, the items are non-returnable. It's a for-profit program. I get that insurance doesn't cover travel so avoid this place unless you can't. And check with the health department first if they have the vaccines you want (HEP A would be covered there, but it's $95 at passport health) because of course they won't tell you this.

It should be zero stars... On Thursday, May 28, 2026, my mom was sent to the Wilson ER from…read moreSusquehanna Nursing home, where she is a resident with advancing dementia. She had fallen and they thought she had fractured her right elbow. After she was sent to the ER, her provider called the ER twice (first speaking to triage nurse, Sarah, and then to her nurse, Mina) to tell them that my mom has advancing dementia, so she does not have the capacity to give consent. She also told them to contact me before they did anything because I am her POA and health care proxy. During that afternoon I received numerous MyChart notifications for tests being done. For the first few hours they were x-rays, but then it changed to blood tests, ekg, and a chest x-ray. After I got out of work my husband and I went to the ER and it is a good thing that we did. When we walked into my mom's room Dr. Guizano was telling my mom that she was being admitted for surgery. I said no she is not. The ER was explicitly told to get her elbow stabilized and send her back. He said ok and walked out of the room. In his notes he wrote family is "aware of risk-benefit". At no time did he have a conversation with us regarding this. Dr. Howell in his notes stated that "patient verbalizes understanding" in consenting to x-rays and an ecg. She does not have the capacity to understand or consent to anything. At no time during this day was I called or consulted regarding her treatment. My mom is extremely frail and has bad reactions to anesthesia. The risk of surgery is too great. Had I not got there when I did, there is a good chance she would not have made it through the surgery. It is appalling that this took place. Protocol was not followed. The elderly rely on others to look out for their needs. This was not done in this case. I will be looking into what options we have.
