THE WORST!!! I literally cringe any time I see my package is being delivered by OnTrac. Today is the second time a package status says "delivered" but the photo is not my house. I went walking down the street and figured out what house it was but there was no package there. There's no way to get in touch with anyone. You just fill out an online form that states they'll respond in 2 days. They never respond. I don't know how they are keeping contacts with any retailers. Both instances of missing packages were shipped through Vans. Surprisingly, a couple of packages from Sephora have made it but the driver chucks it over the fence (as viewed from my camera) when a clear space is marked to deliveries. I have deliveries frequently and have had no problems with Amazon, UPS, or FedEx. read more

WORSE THAN FEDEX! DO NOT USE!!! If I can give zero stars I would. It is difficult to find a shipping company that disappoints MORE than FedEx, but OnTrac definitely achieved it. My package was supposed to be delivered on 4/6 and they delayed it to 4/7 without providing a reason. Waited all day 4/7 and by 6pm they changed the delivery date again to 4/8, without a reason. There were no service alerts in the area that explains the delay. I called customer service and was told that they would send an inquiry. It's now almost 24 hrs after the phone call, and I received no package or response. I called customer service again and was told that they are still waiting for the operations manager to respond. These people apparently don't take other people's time seriously, and they can delay your delivery over and over again without suffering any repercussions. If you can't deliver within the promised time frame then be realistic about your delivery date! I can make other arrangements instead of waiting at home to sign for a package that may or may not arrive! And yes, the reviews on Yelp will be skewed because people only leave comments when they encounter extremely great or extremely poor service, but that does not excuse this company unless the goal is to strive for mediocrity! Update 4/8/21: The delivery date now got pushed to 3/9. This Burbank facility apparently did NOT respond to the initial inquiry that was sent in by the customer service team. I spoke with a supervisor who told me that she will escalate this issue to the facilities management team. We shall see what happens. Update 4/9/21: The delivery date now got pushed to 3/10. I spoke with customer service again, and the supervisor Cindy told me that at this point they could not locate the package, and that they are doing an internal investigation, and asked me to contact the vendor for a resolution. After speaking to a manager at OnTrac last week, and having assurances that the drivers would be made aware of the poor delivery of packages, at about 11:00 AM, I personally witnessed another OnTrac delivery at my neighbors house and the driver literally threw the package about 15 feet to their porch, and then sped off. I appreciate the management touching base with me regarding my poor package delivery, and then supposedly discussing it with the drivers, but empirically I see it has made NO difference whatsoever... I got a text saying the delivery was made and there was no box outside my door. I called the company and they said the driver indicated he delivered to the correct address. Another update. It's been another 6 months, another ~10 deliveries from ontrac from various online vendors. Lots from a vendor in Riverside, so delivery from IE to LA/The valley. The only one hiccup during this entire time, was that once they delivered the package to my downstairs neighbor by mistake (number off by one digit) but I was able to locate it by looking around. All package arrived in good condition. They handled the packages with care and lots of times delivering way earlier than I thought the item would arrive. The particular reason for me to update this today is as follow. Had an item ordered Sat and was anticipating it to be picked up Monday then delivered Tuesday (Got used to their fast delivery). Little did I know, they picked it up on Sunday and was already delivering on Monday. I was not going to be at the address on Monday. So I called their CS number and was able to get to a real person very fast. She helped me out and placed a hold for pickup notice on the item. The driver was able to bring the item back to this location and I was able to pick up the item the next morning once I saw the tracking system update that it was ready for pickup. Got to the location, talked to the nice receptionist and picked up the package with the tracking and ID. The entire interaction was seamless. I like to commend them for doing a great job on all levels of operation. This is impressive as sometimes even the bigger players have problems with this. Do I think they are perfect? No they aren't, no logistics company is, not even the major ones. But I think with my quite extensive data set of proven deliveries. I can say 100% they are on par with all other logistics companies. Don't make a judgement using those anecdotal information. Remember most people only write reviews when they have something to complain about. read more

OnTrac states my package was delivered at 11:45am today. Not delivered as of 8pm. Most things I've read online about OnTrac delivery state the same problem so thought I'd add one more. With REI I've read you can add to your cart and call in to request a different carrier. Will do that next time. OnTrac should require drivers to take a photo of the delivery. read more

Update 10/17/21 OnTrac is the worst, Hasn't got any better, just worse. Said they delivered a package at 1:35AM, and they would have walked 150 yards to the front door. Didn't know they worked such long hours. Except they didn't deliver it. Had to get a refund from Walmart and ask then never to use ontrac again. Some time ago... A few times an item was at their office in plenty of time to be delivered on a Saturday but didn't get delivered until Monday.
