Matt (Mannick, DPT), my therapist consistently combined clinical skill with a calm encouraging manner. My concerns of being a 77y female who was minimally to moderately active were concerns of being treated as 'old' were immediately removed. The programs Matt designed were respectfully age-related still challenging strength, balance and endurance so I could safely continue doing the exercises at home. My presenting symptom ( sciatic pain) was treated swiftly allowing me to continue my activities without pain. And additionally he got my frequent sense of humor comments. Pretty soon after, my therapist comes to get me and we begin. Zach, is my therapist and I'm very grateful to have him. From the start, Zach was very personable. He makes me feel comfortable and always has a great plan of action. When I started at R2P I could barely drive my car and I definitely couldn't walk up stairs. Now, I can drive my car for hours at a time and I'm almost back to walking up stairs normally. Zach has a very good treatment plan for me. He makes me put in the work but I never over do it. At the beginning of the session I don't think I'm going to make it through but at the end I feel really good and I feel like I accomplished something. The spinning sensation was so bad I wondered if I could ever drive, or walk again!! My wife gave me meals in bed. We went to Gambrills Physical therapy in August of 2021 and Met Casandra. She was very kind caring, patient, professional, and most of all Always had time to fit me into her slammed schedule. She has a very nice vertigo room with the Vertigo exam goggles, and large flat screen to see exactly what was going on with my Vertigo. She gave me Maneuvers to practice at home, and even called me to check on me!! She is a Loving, Wonderful, therapist!! She has helped me bring my Vertigo from a 10 "cant stand up" to a 3 "back at work full duties!" While on a work trip to Frederick Valley Chiropractic was my life saving! I had a bad migraine…read morefrom the 2 star motel I stand at and when I called here the lady who answered the phone was very polite. They just so happen to have an opening that day and I immediately took the opening. This all happened on a Friday morning. When I got there they had immediately had me fill out the usual paperwork for a chiropractic. The Dr. said don't worry they will fix me up. When I got in she did an assessment and I also showed her my chart what is wrong with me, and that cut the time in half. After the assessment they immediately gave me a 10 minute tense unit with felt great since my neck, back and traps was messed up. The assistant came in a couple of times and he made sure I was okay. After that treatment the adjustment went great and gave me a relief. The Dr. told me if I needed to go to another Chiro on Saturday she said she wouldn't be offended since I was leaving Maryland to Hawaii on Monday early morning.
