I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude and many thanks to the entire staff at Pivot. I have been a client there since January of this year, and would like to say that I am receiving the best of care possible, before and after my major back surgery. All of the staff are professional and caring, and genuinely interested in helping their clients reach their utmost potential. The minute you enter their doors you are treated with kindness and respect. They work as a "well oiled" team to accommodate everyone according to whatever needs they may have.....no exception. The atmosphere, while efficient and professional, maintains and informal, friendly, and fun working relationship. At times it is almost like spending time with family because you know that they care about you and your welfare. And simply said, "they are just good people". There is even a certain amount of comfortable friendliness among the clients that I have not witnessed at any other medical establishment of this type. This happens when you're confident that you are getting excellent care, and comfortable with the progress you're making. The entire staff is warm, energetic and supportive. Kristin is a knowledgeable and persistent therapist, as she encourages all of her clients to do their exercises the right way, in order the attain their set goals in the shortest amount of time. She is "hands on" all of the time, with every one. I also cannot say enough good things about Janice, Amber, Keisha, Chris, Jeremiah, and Megan I have been to three other physical therapy facilities, and have got to say that Pivot of Hagerstown is the best. I came to Pivot when I broke my arm and shattered my heel bone. I'm extremely hesitant when it comes to Hagerstown health care, but from day one it was clear that Kristin (the physical therapist) knew what she was doing, and that I was in good hands. She immediately made me feel comfortable. She listened to my concerns and what I wanted to get out of therapy, and explained her plan for my care. With her exercises and manual work I regained all of the mobility in my arm when it was speculated I may need surgery. My heel bone was in bad shape, but because of the care I received I've got more mobility than I was expecting, I'm even training for a half marathon. Not only did I receive excellent health care, but every visit was a pleasant and fun one. When I was down about my recovery Kristin took the time to encourage me and remind me how far I had come. Janice, the receptionist, worked around my schedule and made sure I got the necessary amount of appointments each week. She was great, always smiling and never acting like I was inconveniencing her. Pivot's awesome. It was so nice to be done my therapy, but it was really hard to leave Pivot. The staff creates such a great atmosphere. I recommend Pivot to everyone I know. read more

I was recommended by a friend to go to pivot when I severely injured my right ankle. When I showed up for my first appointment, I had not walked for two weeks because of the pain. Kristin was my physical therapist; she and the others that worked in the office instantly made me feel welcome on the first day. Kristin made a schedule designed for me, with workouts, weights, etc. Every appointment, she commented on my improvements and explained how each exercise strengthened my ankle. Not only was Kristin and everyone at the Pivot in maugansville very professional, but they also made me feel a part of their family. In a few months, I was back to running. Granted my injury and recovery is personal and not like everyone else's but I truly believe that if I had not gone to Kristin/ pivot, it would have taken me much longer to recover and I would have still been in pain. Every appointment at pivot, I felt motivated and determined to get better. I believe that motivation and willingness to push through the struggles came from having such a great support system from the people at pivot. I want to thank the team at Pivot therapy. They have been very helpful during my sessions. The office is professional and caring. They were kind enough to accommodate my schedule and work with the issues that needed therapy. Kristin is knowledgeable and encouraging while teaching the correct way to apply the exercises. As someone that's been battling various issues with my back for nearly half my life, I was resistant to go to physical therapy. I had never heard of Pivot until my doctor sent me there due to my insurance requirements for further testing that was needed. The entire staff at Pivot is incredible and I felt comfortable from the day I started. They always ask how my day is and seem genuinely interested in things about you instead of just pushing the general "Do your exercises" like I had faced over the years at other places I had been to. Pivot Hagerstown MD is a excellent facility. I have had the pleasure of being a patient at Pivot on 2 occasions. The staff are second to none. If you need physical therapy, I highly suggest you try Pivots Hagerstown site. The therapist (Dr. Kristin Lumm) is an excellent therapist. She is knowledgeable, caring, and thorough. She takes time to help patients understand exactly their condition and how and why therapy is necessary. I have gone to this physical therapy twice. From the first time I walked through their door I know this was the place to go. The people at the front desk to the physical therapists did everything in their power to help me out. Each time I have had to have physical therapy I have told them my doctors to send me to Pivot in Hagerstown. I have been to other PT places and I felt I was just a number. I hurt my shoulder over the summer and resisted going to the doctor for months because I knew they would prescribe physical therapy and i didn't want to go through it. When i came to Pivot, the therapists were friendly and encouraging. I immediately felt like an old friend and it only made me want to do better. They trust you to do you're exercises, but won't hesitate to correct you if you're using improper form. The facility is clean and organized. The environment friendly. I would like to thank the staff at Pivot for a wonderful experience. They really worked hard at getting me the appointment times I needed. I can't say enough about the excellent level of service I received at Pivot Physical Therapy. My pain doctor suggested I try them and I found them both friendly and knowledgeable. During my first visit and thereafter they were always concerned with my pain level and modified the workout to coincide with it. I have been a patient for 6 or 7 months now at Pivot in Hagerstown. My niece came here to be treated after an ACL replacement and I have been under Kristen's care after a severe leg break.
