The décor is remarkable - it's clear that the owners were very intentional about making the space feel like art, but also welcoming. Bold colors with lots of windows for natural light, and thoughtfully curated mini spaces throughout the café really make you feel like you're escaping the outside world while letting the sun shine in. And the food - scrumptious. The tomato bisque soup is made fresh onsite and from scratch, and is so delightful. i also have enjoyed their salads and teas. Basically - get thee to The Book Cellar. In fact, my granddaughter left her class novel at school one day. She needed to read some chapters that night in preparation for a quiz. Believe it or not, Janet (who works at the store and lives nearby) delivered the book I purchased over the phone directly to her house because we could not make it to the store by 7. We were tied up at soccer practice. When I brought my graddaughter home, the book was waiting for her! She was one relieved 4th grader. We will be back for more books in the future. It is located in the Toco Hills plaza next to Kroger and Pikes, and the parking lot is huge so no worries on parking. The book store is small but is filled to the brim with books.
