This is an amazing venue to host birthday parties. I had my child's 3rd birthday here earlier this year and it was so so so much fun. The hosts were organized and kept the young kids engaged. They had a fridge to store drinks and ice cream. We were allowed to bring outside food to host. Plenty of chairs and kids chairs/tables available too! read more

My son tried a few different camps last summer and decided Oodles was the place for him! He has gone back over Thanksgiving and now winter break and loves it! We decided to use Oodles for our daughter's 4th birthday party for a number of reasons, and I must say, the venue and staff were beyond what we expected. They helped so much, with the planning, the set up, the execution, even the cleaning. I can't say enough about the staff; they were fantastic. The kids had SOOO much fun playing with the equipment, and the staff even ran a "gym class" that included playing with a parachute. The bounce house was an absolute hit! A staff member even came over to a couple of high school boys and convinced them to join in the fun. This site is very near and dear to my heart and family. It has truly been a pleasure and breath of fresh air having my 3 children attend their after school program. As a single mother with help from my Mom, Oodles, has provided additional assistance and relief to take a load off of my busy schedule. My son struggles with math, the staff help him daily with his homework and classwork. I have definitely noticed a tremendous improvement. They take their time with him, explain things at his level and make things simple. My children have a lot of fun in the gym and playing with the other kids. Had my daughter's second birthday here. Loved it all. Emily was very responsive and proactive. She called and discussed the party with me and had me bring things early for them to set up. When we arrived everything was set up nicely and it was clean. I had kids from ages 2-12 and they all had fun. Something for everyone. I love that we didn't have to move room to room and the gym is attached to the seating area. People don't have to stand around and watch like at some jumper spots. All of it is together. The kids had so much fun and all the parents loved how they were able to relax while their children laughed & played. My only regret was in not purchasing the extra hour. Although I knew we were working on a strict time table, it felt rushed. The party attendants were sweet and attentive; they served the pizza, cake and cleaned up. Oodles hosted my sons 3rd bday party last weekend and I can't say enough good things about how everything went. When I booked with Emily, I explained to her my son has autism and may need certain accommodations to make his party successful (as he gets overwhelmed in new settings). The two staff she assigned, Nadia and May Were absolutely wonderful. The accommodations included having the music at a lower volume than normal and the lighting not so bright. They even put my sons fav cartoon, Peppa Pig on for a while so he can watch while he ate. Nadia and May were so fantastic with the kids, keeping them nice and busy. Helped us set up, decorate and clean up. Since there was food left over, Nadia even helped me pack plates of food so people could take home. Attended a birthday party here this past weekend and although my 9 month old was not able to play in the play area/gym, my 4 year old niece seemed to have had a lot of fun! They have a lot of different activites such as rope climbing, balance beams, etc that the kids can have fun in. During the party the kids were able to do a 4 course routine and that seemed to looked like fun. I only wish the place was a bit more spacious for the adults to run around in as well. I gave this place a -1 star because as for the bathrooms I wish they had changing tables for each bathroom! My husband and I had trouble changing our little one because there was no place to even change him! My daughter attended the 2019 summer program, and loved it. My daughter is a very, very, very active kid, I was worried her energy would not be matched. Every time I would pick her up she would be doing some type of physical activity such dancing, singing, etc. With my surprise she was tired by the time I picked her up. My other concern with finding a summer program was I wanted my daughter to have fun, but also not forget what she had learned in school. They have a great educational curriculum that includes fun activities. The kids do not just sit around, and play on their own all day. The staff is very hands on, they interact with all of the students. They have study time, and then they have all the fun, Thank you for all your great work! read more

Pros: I recently went for a birthday party. The people who work there are nice and helpful. The concept is cool for little kids. CONS: The place itself needs some major attention. There are many safety hazards and it is dirty. There are a few ceiling tiles that are hanging and could possibly fall on a childs head. There is no padding along the walls. There is a huge hole in the wall. The slide height is way to close to the ceiling and a child could easily bump his or her head. The tables were sticky and dirty. The carpet was not vacuumed. Most of the stuff in the play area looked like it had not been wiped clean for a long time. The ball pit looks like it has never been cleaned. There were cleaning supplies in the playroom that a child could have easily got ahold of. I dont understand how this place has such good reviews. Not only can your child get hurt but probably get sick from how dirty it is. It makes me sad and upset that a place for children does not have strict standards when it comes to cleanliness and safety. read more

My 8 year old son attended summer camp with Oodles this year and loved it so much we signed up for their after school program too! Entering my son's 3rd week of Oodles Summer program. He is six and eagerly anticipates each weekday of camp. He is loving making new friends, fun weekly field trips (La Mirada SPLASH, bowling, Big AIR, John's Incredible Pizza) Parent's will appreciate focus on academics in the morning, an hour dedicated to the following subjects: reading, writing, math, social studies & science, art & gymnastics, along with dancing. He loves the weekly field trips to local Cerritos Parks, a lot of fun organized planned activities for the kids throughout the day. Awesome hours from 8-5pm for full time summer camp hours. Their director, Ms. Emily is running a fantastic program for our kids at a great price parents can appreciate and afford on both a academic and extracurricular scale. We've had two birthday parties at Oodles over the past three years. I can honestly say that both parties have been a success in large part thanks to Emily and her staff specially Mae. Emily is very amicable and flexible with our requests. She accommodated us by letting us set up our Taco guy next to the side entrance. Her pricing for the venue was definitely fair and reasonable. Her staff was excellent in several aspects. They helped us with both setting up and cleaning up our party. Additionally, they helped us to ensure that all the children were entertained, but in a safe, structured environment. Plus, they always asked if there was anything that they could help us with. Had my daughter go here for daycare since 2 other parents at her school had their kids go here. They have a quite read time but don't help the younger kids who don't know how to read. They tell them to just sit there quietly and look at the book. I was under the impression that the director would be there all the time since they only have "teachers" in the morning and the rest of the staff are high schoolers and college students but in the afternoon she's not there. I took my daughter out because I didn't feel she was safe there being with kids who just learned to drive and god forbid an emergency happened. read more

The two team members watched ,played games , and even danced with the nine kids at our party the entire two hours. I don't know if that is standard or we just had exceptional hosts. I didn't want a jumper place because she's to small for those places and they have a lot of restrictions. Oodles let me have as many kids and adults as I wanted to invite no extra charge. They also let me bring outside food compare to the other places were they make you buy there food. The staff was super helpful, they help you get everything ready, entertain the kids, they keep an eye on them, cut the cake/serve it and I didn't have to worry if the kid getting board. I had my daughter's first birthday party here. The process was very easy and price was very reasonable. It was a lot cheaper then other places at that time (2017). The owner is very personable and friendly and was friendly to all the guest. Help clean after and setup before even though I had help. There is a lot for the kids to do we have kids of various ages and they all enjoyed themselves. Your party even comes with entertainment/the owner of staff will do like a circle time with the kids. Unlike other places you can bring your own cake and food, which was very crucial and cost effective for me. I do not like paying over priced food to have one slice a pizza a kid etc. So overall total package in my eyes, and central enough for all our family and friends coming from different areas as this is right off the 91 freeway. My son has been coming to summer camp here for a few weeks now and had a bad experience at a different summer camp and was a little nervous to start a new one but they really do go above and beyond here for the kids. Whenever I pick my son up now he never wants to leave. Ms. Emily is a great instructor and so is the rest of her team. They help academically & socially with the kids here and honestly I'm so excited to start him here even next summer much more sooner than we did this summer. Of all the classes my 3-year-old has taken in Cerritos this has been her absolute favorite! Here are a few reasons why we love Oodles: 1. This place was a life saving location for me. I am someone who is always on the go and doing something, yet with the help of Emily and Nadia I was able to enjoy and relax at my daughter's party. My daughter along with all the kids had the best time from arrival to departure. My 3 year old could not stop saying how much fun her party was. Our little guest were beyond excited. The activities were age appropriate, active and some free play. The staff's energy puts me to shame. Last year I paid a fortune for entertainment at home and Oodles outdid them by far. My Son just went back to school today and his teachers came to me almost in tears after his first day...They could not believe the amount of progress that he had made, since the last time he was physical in school. My Son has a speech delay and was struggling with class work and socializing with other kids. My four-year old took a weekly tumbling class at Oodles and we loved it! Background info: my son had been receiving private physical therapy before Oodles. We were encouraged by our therapist to get plugged into gymnastics for more support. That's when we found Oodles! Teacher Emily is so great with kids; she makes all the activities so deceptively fun!!! =) My kiddo can be a little stubborn with participation at times, but Teacher Emily really came alongside him and offered a lot of positive reinforcement. Had my son's first birthday at oodles. It was very successful. I had Hena and Lexi as our hosts. I arrived 2pm. Scheduled to be able to decorate 2:15pm. At first I was worried that I can not make the decoration on time because at 2pm there were still people from the first party. But they wede fast in cleaning and set up. Hena, Lexi and May were very helpful. They helped me all the way. They were very great with the children. Not only the children had fun in the gym but also other guests as well as they were dancing. I was so happy when Hena approached me told me that the face painting was complimentary and it was really right on time because I had only my son who got the face painting. Lol. Other children were so busy playing and guests were also busy chatting with each other. Lol. I liked that the children had there own space to play and the adults to chat. There was one thing I was a bit concerned was I thought the AC was on then almost the end of the party I talked to my host if we can open either one of the door in the back or in the side so that air can come in then she said she will turn the AC on. Lol. They were very into the gym area with children that they forgot to turn it on. And I was also busy entertaining our guests to notice it earlier. But over all it was very successful party. Very thankful to our wonderful hosts Hena and Lexi. Super thanks also to Emily for she was very accommodating and approachable. Definitely will hold a party again in oodles.
