His name is Kenny Hays. I'm going to attach a pic of his card to my review. Really cool sculptures with tons of creativity and super value priced for badass art like his. Completely worth a stop and browse around the place. You are absolutely going to at least find something to make you chuckle. If you don't have a sense of humor, you may not though. So... if you can handle, "thanks for having a big dick coasters", you should be good. I find it all quite amusing. Her selection ranges from interesting, handcrafted birdhouses to Hobo purses and bags to unique candles to lovely belts and everything in between. The selection is chronically evolving which makes it always a treat to go in and see her wares. I usually go looking for a gift but invariably find many things for myself instead. She has a intimate selection of baby and children's gifts including blankets, books and some toys. Her jewelry seems as though each piece has been hand picked and thoughtfully selected. She has an eclectic selection of watches. It's truly a feast for the senses to drop in this gift store. Wrapping is complimentary and beautifully presented with her robins egg blue boxes and colorful ribbons. Parking is usually no problem on the street. The store is filled with unique treasures that I have never seen at other stores in Memphis as well as so many items that I never knew I needed or wanted until I saw them in Paradox. The staff at Paradox are also so incredibly helpful and kind. They are always there to welcome you and are genuinely excited to have you in their store. It's also incredible how much they know about their product. I will simply be admiring a piece in the store and somebody from the team will come over, notice what I'm looking at, and share with me a whole story about the artist, where it's from, how it's made, etc. Ultimately, I cannot recommend this beautiful store enough to both local Memphians or folks visiting from out of town. I love popping in there to peruse the clothing -- usually t-shirts with ethical messages, loose-fitting pants, stoneware, beaded statuettes, cool bumper stickers, beautiful bowls and plates, pretty semi-precious stone earrings -- I bought a beautiful pair of garnet and silver earrings for only fifteen dollars. And they have fair trade coffee. Yummy, rich coffee -- decaf and diesel. Good stuff and it feels good to buy there.
