This is my FAVORITE store in Philly! This is a one stop shop for gifts for truly anyone in your life. They sell some of my favorite things (Jellycats, Sonny Angels, Sanrio, Philly sports apparel) along with puzzles, candles, jewelry, baby stuff, etc! I'm always greeted when I walk in. Prices are a bit on the higher end but expected for the things I buy there.

Great store!! So many cool and interesting things to see. Slightly pricy even for the city but it's a speciality store so I guess that goes hand in hand.

What a pleasant surprise this was. I stumbled upon this by happenstance as I was heading back from my future place of employment in Philly. It looked like a charming little bookshop from the outside but on the inside it wasn't that at all. It was like a wonderland of Knick knacks and cute finds and accessories and home goods. I liken it to being very similar to a Francesca's store. As I walked further into the store, I happened on some more unique and interesting finds, even an area that had spiritually related items. They had a ton of candles, really cute and pretty candles and I'm such a sucker for candles it's horrible. I had to refrain from buying one. I did settle on getting a keychain, a rose quartz stone, and a ceramic stone that had an inspirational quote engraved on it. I love stores that have things with motivational items that evoke positivity and encouragement. On my way out, I saw a wall with all of these one-of-kind greeting cards and that and made heart smile (which is what it says on the stone that I bought ^_^) Me happening upon a wall of greeting cards is like a kid in an ice cream shop. It means pure joy to me as I love greeting cards. Letter writing is a dying art that needs to be brought back and it's nice to know boutique stores like this one carry them. I'm sure if I had more time to peruse through them, I would have found some pretty great ones. Will I be back?...yes...1000%. Where some people fancy Dolce & Gabbana and Prada, I like hole-in-the-wall knick knack stores with glitter pens and carefully curated candles. They give off good energy, not that D&G doesn't, but home goods like these are a fraction of a cost and were mot made in a factory but with tender loving care by passionate artisan individuals. If you're into cute finds, definitely check it out. It's totally worth it. I know I'll be stopping by often:)

I've never had the pleasure of stopping by Open House, but I'm sure glad I now have! The store has the cutest assortment of gifts for all occasions as well as a TON of cute Philadelphia themed pieces. I'll be sure to stop by the next time I need to pick up something cute for someone that I don't know all to well, there's defs something that everyone would like in this store-- from cute pillows, jewelry, keychains, cookware, makeup cases, and so much more!

Super cute store in the Center City area! I love the selection of knick-knacks and home supplies, though everything is a bit too expensive for me. Definitely worth checking out if you are shopping in Philly.

Enjoyed that they had a variety of not just paper, journals and pens but also locally sourced items like coffee, books and stickers. The shop was pretty crowded during my visit, probably a dozen people or so in the small space. This made me happy to see so many people shopping local. Eventually, after browsing most of the store, I decided to get a coffee bean pendant for my Traveler's Notebook. I've seen this same charm online for upwards of $20. Omoi's was $18. Definitely a value there! The service was excellent. While ringing me up one of the ladies running the register grabbed the Traveler's Notebook stamp (which you have to ask for) and let me do my thing. The stamp for the Traveler's Notebook is pretty cool, it features a soft pretzel and Water Ice.

Omoi was close to where we were coming to / heading to, so I bookmarked it and we managed to stop by before they closed. It was actually really poppin when we got there, despite the fact that it was about 30 minutes to closing time. I wasn't really on the market for anything, just wanted to browse. I ended up picking up some cute notepads for a friend and some washi tape for myself. I love that they sold matchbooks here! I am an avid matchbook collector, despite not smoking a day in my life. Staff were super nice and very friendly.

In addition to furniture like cabinets, benches, chairs, and tables, one can find rugs, lights/lanterns, books, statues, busts, and other odds and ends. The space is quite large, and the selection varied. Kudos to the curator as one can spend quite a bit of time combing through all of the many treasures. Pieces can trend toward the more expensive side; however, deals are to be found, and while we were there, there was a 30% off sale. The staff are friendly, and my transaction is quick and efficient. While on site, I purchased several wine bottle snuggies that were styled after Chinese-style clothing. They were $3.50 each--a bargain. They'll come in handy when I take wine or other such bottles to social gatherings in the future. Overall, a great experience. Amex is accepted here.

(Do they really sell those hideous masks to anyone with a real sense of style? Or to anyone at all??) I had the heebeejeebees walking around in there, and I'm not superstitious or flighty, but the place just had a very "heavy" feeling, like a weight was on my shoulders the whole time there. And don't get me started on the prices... overpriced, on purpose, IMHO, for those who think the higher the price, the more precious the item. The only thing precious is the first breath of fresh air you get when leaving this gaudily overdone made in china sham of a store.

When we asked some simple clarification questions he told us he could t work with us anymore, ran away and disappeared, with only a couple months before the wedding leaving us without a ring. The diamond we gave him to use when it came back was clearly substituted with another cheaper one, and our inquiries went unanswered. This is theft, and these folks are un trustworthy and not a professional operation or interested in any kind of respectful and honest customer service. They're also going to be adding some plant life to their selection. Staff was friendly but not too pushy, and even offered me a mimosa while I shopped! Genius business plan. I bought some really cute earrings and I feel like they were discounted because of that drink, that's how that works right? Great place to kill time while you're waiting 45 minutes for Little Spoon/The Cambridge to call your name.
