I am in the business as a major property manager and thought these guys were the best to retrofit three bathrooms at my house. They were almost 5 months late starting our work. This is after giving them a 6k deposit. This company did everything to the T that contractors can do to a client. I could type a thousand words about the company, but just be told, stay AWAY. They really did everything bad that a contractor can do to a client, I mean everything that you see on TV about bad contractors. They actually laughed about it to me during a meeting. It has cost me a few thousand in the past few years fixing their issues. I make sure that they do no work in my complex and if I can in my neighborhood. WATCH YOURSELF!

The cabinets have glue all over them, the drawers are crooked, there's scuffs and scratches, and things had to go back because they were the wrong size. Such nice people until they get your money. Stay Away! If you'd like to see the pictures of the defects let me know. Then you can see I'm not exaggerating. One star only because I had to give something, but they're really a negative five. Edited to add: after contacting the manufacturer, someone got back to me saying they had been trying to contact me. What a coincidence that they could only get a hold of me after going over their heads. Today I received a follow-up email from Mr. Donatucci himself basically blaming my contractor. I guess it's my contractor's fault that the wrong hinges were put on the doors and they arrived scuffed and scratched and crooked and glue residue all over them. Way to try to deflect poor workmanship. So unprofessional and condescending. Please stay far away! I wouldn't deal with them even if everything was free.

Working with Chris at A&P Custom Kitchens was great -- from planning the layout and design and the selection of tiles, cabinets, countertops. Chris and his team worked efficiently from demo to completion and we are delighted with the end result. We would definitely consider working with them again as needs arise in the future. They have worked on many, many kitchens and bathrooms in our condo towers and have very satisfied customers! We recommend them highly.

Now that it's complete gave me hollow basement door that was off hinge in a month after 8 months I order. Solid door and paid for it to be installed. Never a return call from Tom The Kitchen cabinet doors are all not closing. And off centered. The installer said the doors are warped. And zTom should have no problem rep because they are under warranty. Spoke to Tom he was oblivious and said did the contractor order. The contractor is saying Tom has specs and should order. No one is responding to my calls. I don't know if ordered or not The customer service is horrible. I would not recommend them. I loved my kitchen but their follow up after job is completed is herendous and unbelievable and unprofessional

However, I wanted to see what else was out there. I went everywhere - multiple places on Washington Ave, big box stores - ultimately I came back to Til Mar. Multiple things make this place great. I mostly worked with Tommy, who was honest, patient (see above my personality disorders) and gave me a very competitive price. I waffled on what I wanted multiple times and he was always willing to hear me out, show me examples of work they have down elsewhere, even as the minutes past closing ticked on by. He wasn't pushy, which would have been an immediate red flag to me. When I finally chose materials, everything was done as promised, when it was promised. I get multiple compliments on my kitchen. My parents are planning to do some work on their home and I will absolutely be calling them back.

After finishing up with what I was doing in the area and on my way home I would run in here and grab what I needed. I parked near the exit and took the long walk to the entrance. That way when I was done inside I would be able to make the walk to my vehicle quicker. Once inside, I took the shortest route I could to the sections I needed. Which is never easy in an IKEA. I headed towards the lighting section to pick up what I needed and then browsed for shades. Found one that I liked and started to head towards the exit...or at least what I thought was the exit. Out of the maze, and paid, I was out the store. Parking near the exit was greatly needed as I was already tired of the heat.

A shout out to Peggy, who actually helped instead of telling like the other employee - he should keep in mind that this store is huge and extra!!! We started the day with lunch - plant balls and fish balls (very good actually!), mashed potatoes and veggies. Of course we HAD to have a slice of rainbow cake! (icing better than the pretty cake). My daughter applied her college discount - boo ya! Props to staff for the help!
