Was pregnant with my 4th and this time the morning sickness got me worse than ever before. I was traveling and desperate so I was willing to try anything-- even acupuncture! Whether it was the impact of the needles or the placebo effect, it worked! One of the needles in my shin created an electricity like sensation when it was flicked in. I believe when I later Googled, Google said that was a good "chi" or something like that which means (per Google) my body is the type that responds well to acupuncture. I would certainly be open to trying acupuncture again and/or brining a sick child here for addition care and relief from any symptoms. Very happy I was brave and gave it a go. So terrible. and I had to report them to the insurance company because the care was so bad. We went for a shoulder injury (circled it clearly on the form) and she ended up putting pins in the back of his head. This resulted in my son having an intense headache for 3 days straight, a trip to the urgent care, and hours of extra sleep needed because his head was throbbing to the point he was crying. The doctor had to check him to make sure there was not a more crucial injury, which was possible. This was definitely medical malpractice and I would stay away from this place at all costs. Then, they put the cupping on his back for less than 5 minutes which we didn't ask for at all. Not sure how impactful a 3 minute cupping session is, but I do believe it is almost zero. Definitely not recommending-- this post is a warning for other families. read more

I love this business!! Every staff member is so polite and talented. My acupuncturist was Alexis and she was so caring and kind. I was very scared, but she helped me feel soothed and safe. The environment of every room is so relaxing, with anything you could hope for; heated beds, heat lamps, salt lamps, peaceful lighting, and soundscapes. The acupuncture is very thorough, with the option to use essential oils or not. I also had cupping done here. I would highly recommend cupping. It's very lovely. Dr. Mccarty aliso viejo I saw this accupuncturist for foot pain and ankle swelling and leg pain. I told her before we started im not interested in doing full body relaxation treatment. she did not do much to my feet and ankles and put needles on my stomach and various spots, not many on feet and ankle....told me at the end she did her method based on full body relaxation, and that i'd probably need to see the acupuncturist forever. i told her i dont believe that at all...ive had knee issues fixed with one visit before. This office is AMAZING. From the front desk staff, Nebula to the back insurance person Christina. The acupuncturist Ruth is an angel. She focuses on client care and comfort. My little one is 4yrs old and loves the treatment he gets on his scalp and I do see improvements in his condition already, he plays while he's there and is in complete ease which is amazing to see. I became a client there because of the excellent quality of care they provided my son and I don't see myself going anywhere else. I had my first visit the other day with Dr. Lily Chan and am looking forward to coming back. Yaz was very helpful, friendly and engaging while making the appointment and in person. As far as the acupuncture and cupping I thought it was very effective and pleasant for my issues. Tried to get an appointment for myself and my son. We have Aetna insurance and they are not an Aetna provider. I asked if they had any referrals for my son to which they responded no. We started seeing Dr. Ruth about two weeks ago for my 7 year old daughter. My daughter had never slept through the night and we were all exhausted.
