My husband and I had a 90 couples message and our masseuses were Ida and Kim. It was AMAZING!!! I told her I had the most pain in my upper back and requested medium pressure. The pressure was PERFECT! The best massage EVER. I feel like most massages I get feel usually very painful and I find myself tense for most of the massage (I know I can always ask for less pressure so that's partially on me. And I also know my body is generally very tight and sensitive). This massage was the most perfect blend of relaxation and (good) pain. I loved the focus on my different pressure points. I found that I really melted into the massage more when I exhaled when she applied pressure. I could really feel the tension get released! I also enjoyed the last half hour where we did the stretching portion. It felt so nice to be stretched!! There was a small bit where they used hot stones. And keep in mind that wearing underwear during the massage is optional, but all your other clothes come off. After the massage, they offered us water/tea and pineapple. I felt soooo good afterwards! I was hoping that I would be able to have an in person session with her, as I had grown rather desperate for my conditions which needed therapy, but she was not seeing clients during to the pandemic. She called me after receiving my email and asked me to share what was going on. I explained that I was having some knee pain and TMJ issues. Imagine my delight to learn that Karen had a number of recommendations on how I could relieve my issues. I immediately went from feeling overwhelmed and hopeless (given that I was positive I needed hands on work) to feeling hopeFUL and inspired. Karen is a fantastic listener and very empathetic and took the time to fully understand what I was experiencing so she could best guide me. I took her up on several recommendations right away and I was amazed to see how powerful her recommendations truly were. I experienced relief surprisingly quickly and I'm continuing to make solid progress. Karen demonstrates a great love and skill for sharing her expertise and helping to educate me about how to best prevent aggravation of my issues and how to take better care of my body moving forward. In that one call, I learned FAR MORE than I ever expected would come from a phone consultation. I am extremely impressed; not just by her expertise and knowledge in a variety of treatment approaches, but by her passion and love for helping others move away from unnecessary pain and back into a life of movement and ease. I am tremendously grateful to Karen! I thought I was out of options and required hands on work, but she had recommendations for methods and self-treatments that have been surprisingly effective!
