Maybe she was just having a bad day. Guess I'll find out in the future since this is one of the few nearby Starling labs covered by my insurance.

I was at pain management the other day, standing at the window and was a few minutes late because the medical transportation guy took the wrong exit. The doctor refused to see me but promised to call in a prescription to last me until august. They marked me as a no show and never called the script in. 10 days later, no script, I'm in a pain flair and some guy who doesn't know what he's doing accuses me of lying when he was the one lying and I caught him in a lie. The starling pcp was horrible with my special needs daughter. I don't know where these people come from. But my impression is quite low.

He did not regain consciousness because they vented him and had all paralytics and pain meds. Needless to say as they figured which hospital would get the govt incentive they killed him. Never saw a cardiologist after transfer to New Britain. I could not transfer him. They gave false info to New Britain hospital. I was warned by LifeStar that things were not good and different. The doctor had to drain her and give a blood transfusion after the simple procedure. They stated she would die. Thank God up above that she didn't, but they told her she would. Her guardian was going to sue do to malpractice but the cost of rates superseded the payment amount only because she lived. If she died Midstate would be done. Would never reccomend.

I can't complain about them at all. But upon leaving they were instructed to provide a cd with the images on it. I waited forever. Then realized they had closed!! They went home!! Disgusted by these folks.

Located on the Silas Deane Highway and a stones throw away from I-91, this is my "go to" facility for all my emergency and routine diagnostic needs. Their equipment and technology is state of the art and their staff has always been consistently professional no matter what time of day I have gone. I am sure they must see a lot of unhappy people on a daily basis but they treat each patient with the same level of friendliness and caring compassion. And the best part - extended hours beyond 9-5pm which is great because sometimes the necessity of diagnostic studies falls beyond the realm of normal business hours.

I come here several times a year to have blood drawn for various doctors needs…read more Every time I've come in, the registration process is quick and efficient. After registration, the wait times are always reasonable, but vary, when there are several people in the waiting area. Once my name is called, the actual drawing takes less than two minutes, on average. I've never experienced any more than a mild "pinch" sensation when they insert the needle, and far more often, feel nothing at all with any of the many phlebotomists that have drawn my blood over the ten years I've been coming here. I just can't watch while they insert the needle in my arm. Makes me very queasy. I'm usually in and out within 20 minutes, and I think that's a very reasonable amount of time.

He did my…read moretotal knee replacement in January of 2026 and when I returned in April for the 3 month check, I told him I was having considerable difficulties. In addition to my subjective complaints of ongoing pain, there were objective measures to indicate something was wrong. I was going backwards in the progress I had made in physical therapy, the PT and my PCP referred me to a lymphedema specialist because of abnormal swelling, and I developed a painful snapping sensation behind the knee making it very difficult to walk up stairs, something I did not have previously. This doctor refused to hear my concerns and told me I was "thinking too much" about the knee. He recommended that I stop all therapy, including the lymphedema intervention. I was compelled to find a doctor who would offer a second opinion, and after an MRI of the knee, the problems were properly diagnosed. To my shock, as I prepared for the visit with the second doctor and gathered the surgical notes from MyChart, I reviewed what Dr. Shekhman had write about the April visit regarding my complaints and dissatisfaction. I was astonished that he had completely misrepresented our conversation, said I was happy with the outcome and making good progress. Either he never heard what I told him, or felt the need to misrepresent what had actually transpired. Neither is good. I would not recommend him for anyone else facing knee replacement. There are other excellent surgeons outside of OAH who also listen to their patients. Thankfully, owing to the quick intervention of my new doctor, the difficulties are being treated and I am seeing some progress although further surgery may be required. Perhaps Dr. Shekhman is too arrogant to listen, or perhaps he made assumptions because I am a woman, and thus dismissed me completely,essentially telling me that everything I was feeling was "in my head." There are other great surgeons; I would never recommend him.
