What they do really well here is the Ribeyes! The ribeyes are great here. Especially the Bison Ribeye from Durham Ranch. I have also tried the Bacon wrapped Filet Mignon as well as the Surf and Turf. All the meals are great. Even had the Walleye pan fried fish which was very good sized portion. Free salad bar with every order of a sandwich or entree. This place has some really awesome Fried Pickles. I get them all the time when I come here. Also try the Kangaroo skewers with the Blackberry and Redwine sauce if you're feeling lucky. Have you ever had Rocky Mountain Oysters? Well you can here. Give it a shot!

Bison burger ordered medium. A medium burger should have a hint of pink. This was bright red and tasted barely cooked.

Small town in the oil patch, so don't expect big city steakhouse service.

Yes i'm leaving ANOTHER review...... but this one is even better…read more Sadly I can't have dairy or gluten :/ so I got the chicken cashew salad--and OH MY GOODNESS. Let's just say it was worth every penny (except someone else paid for me, so bless their heart.) Our server was FANTASTIC-- super nice. There was a big group of us and they cared for us wonderfully. It was really enjoyable. My husband got the steak sirloin with french fries--and omgoodness their french fries are everything Love love love!!! Not in our budget though..... so we will probably not be back for a long time.

To start we ate the most delicious and tender calamari. We ordered the Senior Prine rib dinner and…read moreadded the wedge salad for an extra $5.99. The prime rib didn't look as how we expected, very lean but it was surprisingly tasty. Our waitress said the potato soup was good and so we chose that. It was nice with chunks of potatoes with a deep cheddar flavor. The wedge salad was half a head of iceberg lettuce cut in half. It was so huge that I needed to use two plates to cut up the lettuce and toss it wth all the toppings. It was quite delicious and fillings. We also ordered a Rib Eye dinner which tasted really good. To end our meal we ordered the Sky High mud Pie to share. It had delicious coffee ice cream covered in whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate and maybe it was caramel syrup and a lot of chopped peanuts around the edge of the plate. It was really delicious but now that I think about it I think if it were toasted almonds instead of peanuts it could of been tastier to me. Our waitress was so wonderful, funny and attentive. She was good and honest about recommendations and wanted to know what we thought about the calamari because she gets mixed reviews. The restaurant is open to 10 which makes it great for those on roadtrips and want to stop at and have a nice sit down dinner. We arrived around 8:30 and the restaurant was still busy.

Our team caught a late dinner here after driving in to Buffalo this evening and we were so grateful…read morethat Bozeman Trail Steakhouse was still open We were warmly greeted by the staff and the exterior interior design is super charming and reflective of the local Wyoming country aesthetic...rustic, country vibes and welcoming. The menu is quite extensive and there is definitely something for everyone. I ordered a few appetizers and each of us got our own entrees. I've never tried a bison steak before so I went with that, and I personally wasn't a fan. Not because of the quality but just the nature of the meat is quite tough. But my friend ordered the prime, and it was huge! So he shared some of it with me and it was definitely the better of the two meets in my opinion. All the potato dishes were pretty good and to be honest the other entrees were just about average. Food was all slightly under seasoned and some items were definitely overcooked. But portions were generous and we even needed to leave for you to go boxes. Prices were also very reasonable. But what really makes this place special is the staff. Our server Tracy what's absolutely fantastic. She was kind, attentive and given that she's been working at Bozeman for a while... She was really knowledgeable about the menu and made some great recommendations. She even brought us a few tasters the local brewed beer selections, which I'd like to go back and try some more.

This is hands down one of the best steakhouses I have ever been to. I got to my hotel at 7:50 and…read morethe man working the desk recommended here but warned me they close at 9. It was a Saturday night too so I knew I had to hurry, and I walked in the front door by 8:05. They were super nice and told me they could still serve me and my waitress was the nicest and sat there talking to me. The drink she made was delish, and can we talk about the bowl of ranch they brought me with the mushrooms? The perfect amount, I was able to put it on my loaded mashed potatoes as well then. I got the bison steak with Montreal seasoning and let me tell ya, I love bison now. I got pie and huckleberry ice cream to go too and I just finished the pie now, both were incredible. If you're ever in or around Buffalo, stop in here, some of the best food and service you're ever going to find.
