The person up front is very helpful and makes sure you have everything you need. The teacher I had made sure to demonstrate each move before letting the class practice the move. Them we were partnered up with another person in that class and we did that whole bit a couple times before planking. There is a locker room with bathrooms and showers. They have a schedule for adults that shows all the classes they'll have Monday through Saturday. They also have classes for kids and overall it's a great place to learn. I only give 4 out of 5 because it's my first gym and while it was great, I have nothing to compare it to. I definitely recommend.

As a petite, 50 year old it has certainly been empowering as well. Between the knowledge I've gained from the classes and the two Girls on Guard Safety Defense Workshops I've attended, I have more confidence that I would be able to defend myself from anyone at any age or size if need be. It's been equally fascinating to watch the confidence and discipline it continues to build in our kids (ages 12 & 15)!
