Even when you see the 7 or 8 obvious scenes upon arrival, what you don't see is hidden in the hills above! It was so cool how they transitioned from scene to scene using torches and powerful lights to direct your eyes. It kept the play moving seamlessly. At first, the single track pre-recorded audio bothered me a bit, but it was actually super easy to hear ALL the words, track who was saying it, and understand the references. They worked in SOOO many scriptures!!! What a night. Even without seeing all the other attractions on sight, we felt our time was well spent.

I was impressed by the multi level stage set up, the use of live animals (and what they left behind…read moregave the scenes authenticity) and the pacing of the show (the actors ran or walked quickly to give us a sense of urgency throughout). If you wanted a good visual representation of the final days and resurrection of Christ this is a good show. The only nit pick I have was the American accents through out the production. This is not a historical accurate play nor do they say it is. In fact , Kevin Sorbo explained to us that much of the dialogue was inspired by the Bible. So there's that.

The first floor (3 connected rooms) covers what I mentioned above - with both artifacts and signs. The top floor has interesting artifacts like a permanent hair wave machine, a scary looking life-sized doll, artwork, and a bedroom set up as if it were 1890. Took us about an hour and 15 minutes. There was a gentleman when we came it (don't know his name) with a beard that was very helpful, explaining stories and artifacts. He left 45 minutes later when someone came in to take over who sat at a desk.

It's also a great spot if you have younger kids. There is plenty for them to do beyond just rides, including play areas, interactive attractions, and even a train ride. It's not one of those parks where little kids are limited. They can stay busy all day. The whole park has a really cool 1880s theme and is honestly one of the most beautiful theme parks I've been to. Between the shops, craftsmen, and scenery, it feels more like an experience than just rides. That said, be ready for a lot of walking. This park is very hilly and you will feel it by the end of the day. Lines can also get long during busy times. Overall, it's a really unique place with a ton to do for all ages. For starters they could not even provide enough referees for the games my kids played in and never informed the teams. The field conditions are so bad and not taken care off, simply lawn maintenance (or just mow) will help out! Don't waste your time coming to play at tournaments here. Find another city that cares and appreciates your families passion for the game of soccer.

We got close parking to the building and near the exit. When you enter; we went to the right side of the building. Once we got there, we took a picture in front of the building. Inside, we weren't rushed to go to the bathroom & get some concessions. We sat in the upper deck in the middle. Specifically, row KK seats 53 & 54. I've been to Sight and Sound 2 other times and sat in the lower seats... I think I would prefer to sit lower.... Up top, we could see everyone's phones on, people having to stand up and leave- which I know is so picky of me but I would pay the extra money to sit lower. I will say, a perk of sitting up top is the bathrooms and exit way to the lobby that is quicker to exit & way less crowded! The only thing is concessions aren't served upstairs (I think, not for sure on this) We saw David! My theological nerd of a husband had some beef with wanting more exposition especially with Solomon and the temple but I thought it was great use of the limited time they have! They walked us through his young boy years, Samuel anointing him, his relationship with Saul & Jonathan, hiding in the cave, becoming king, Bathsheba, and ended with his confrontation with Nathan and a redemption song. The emphasis was on David wanting to know God's heart and be known by God intimately. Really spoke to me personally in this season. I do think seeing Jesus was my favorite because it's the gospels. My husband says his favorite is Esther. But honestly, anything you see will be good. The ushers are amazing! They were keeping an eye out on anyone who needed anything-even working in the pitch dark to escort parents or children out. They have quiet rooms for families in the back & good seating for those in wheelchairs or anything else. At the end of the show, they have cast members and S&S staff available to pray with anyone who needs anything & they do an altar call for salvation, which is EPIC! They give space for people to encounter God and be walked through prayer.

She enjoys class much better this way, as compared to our experience at another studio. Class is always on time, and her coach Cortney is really great. Costumes for recital are here well ahead of time, and of great quality. Overall, we have had an exceptional experience here, and highly recommend AOM!
