This is an amazing place! The panoramic play was stunning! Well worth your time and money to visit! We saw 'David' and it was fantastic! Don't want to give anything away for the snow was amazing! The people were amazingly friendly and helpful!

Never have I seen such elaborate sets, and we have been to buffers of plays, from Broadway & including nearly everything else. It was: Spiritual Stunning Spectacular Unbelievable Wonderful ...this was the highlight of our Branson trip!!!!

This theaters is excellent on comfort and superb on presentations plus they have great concessions and gift options. We have enjoyed each production and look forward to coming each time a new opportunity to visit presents itself.

Absolutely Incredible -- A Must-See Experience! Sight & Sound Theatre in Branson, MO is hands-down the best show I have ever seen. Their sets and props are absolutely out of this world -- the level of detail is unbelievable. The way they incorporate live animals into the performance makes you feel like you're truly part of the story, completely immersed from start to finish. The production quality, the talent, the atmosphere -- everything is top-tier. I highly recommend this show to anyone visiting Branson. It's an unforgettable experience that you'll be talking about long after the curtain closes.

I love the performance of David. Sights & Sounds always does a phenomenal job of performances of the life of their biblical characters. We have learned to sit about six rows back in the center. You can see the characters facial expressions and see up close the live animal and chairing down the aisle. Looking for to next time.

If you can only see ONE SHOW in Branson, this is the ONE place you must visit! The best actors, music, special effects, pyrotechnics, and message! This is family-friendly and conveys a very Biblical message, suitable for anyone. We've seen "JESUS, "ESTHER," and now "DAVID." They are so fascinating as each brings the Bible to life in its own unique way. The set is immersive and at times, 3-stories! It is fantastic, and also includes live animals throughout the production. I'll continue bringing my family here as we thoroughly enjoy vacationing in Branson, in part due to Sight and Sound! *They also produce some great films!

We recently saw a production of "The Miracle of Christmas" at the Branson Site & Sound Theater. It is an impressive building and an equally impressive show. Amazing applies. The stage is enormous and incorporates the sides as well. Your best seats are mid-theatre to catch everything without having to squirm around in your seat as the scenes change. We were close and it worked well too. Our show included live animals both on stage and at times in the isles. There were numerous aerial scenes which were superbly executed. The lobby is equally spacious with the availability of snacks, gifts, and large, clean restrooms. We bought a 1 year pass to view all Site & Sound productions to date. They are streamable as many times as we wish within a year's time. Totally worth it! My description does not capture the beauty, production nor acting values we enjoyed so you'll need to trust me when I say it is spectacular and in my opinion equal to a Broadway production. Do yourselves a favor and go - I promise you won't regret it.

EXCELLENT. Saw DAVID. Exceeded expectations. I'm usually a front row sitter but this time, we sat row EE. I did quite a bit of research before attending and I definitely think that these were the best seats, just above the sound guys with no people in front of us. Equal distance to the side stages. Brought along a 4x binoculars (slightly bigger than opera glasses but better lighting) to get closeups of the actors. Definitely get the roasted almonds; 1 bag per person. I'm not religious at all but would come for more shows here as I do appreciate the stories and production quality. Parking was a bit chaotic so arriving early is important. We arrived about 30 minutes before and sat in a queue to park for about 10 minutes.

FOH console for all my fellow AV geeks.

Passion is almost as good as King David. The effects and actors were so amazing. I will be telling people they got to come see David.

Ask the Community - Sight & Sound Theatres - Branson

What section has the best views?

The performance is all around so there is probably no bad seat. We have been in the lower balcony and it was fine. This time we sat in the floor seating in the middle about mid way up. You could see faces. Hope this helps.

Will The theater be reopening since Covid?

Yes, we saw Noah in December and now Jesus will be this year.

How wide are the seats? Are they wide enough for a pretty large person to fit? As in, 4x-6x size? Sturdy? Are stairs mandatory or is there a ramp or areas you don't need to take stairs?

I know there is no need of stairs for floor seats. The seats are "standard" but I believe there are seats in the back that may support your requirements.

    Is Jesus coming to Branson?

    He might!

Has anyone taken their 2 or 3 yr old to see Samson? Is it age appropriate?

Yes and they have crying rooms in the top of the theater if they get a little antsy

Reminded me of my Grandparents and family singing alongs at our get togethers. The Stampede was very entertaining! Loved how the North and South duel it out - we were North! We won!!! As for the dinner... that startled me when our waiter just threw down a small rotisserie chicken onto my plate. Was not expecting that! Felt really barbaric... but I guess that's a cowboys life back in the day, around the campfire lol. I would recommend going. Fun time! She chatted with us at the beginning of the show and we were in the first row which I thought would be a great seat! You can order drinks via a QR code and someone from the bar area will deliver them and they will check everyone's ID no matter how old you are. The drink was not good. Tasted very watered down for lack of flavoring and alcohol. You do get a non alcoholic drink included I ordered the unsweetened tea and it took her a little bit to get it because it's not one of the pitchers they keep handy. She refilled everyone else's drink somewhat regularly and when I asked for a refill she had to serve dessert first which I understand the schedule but then it was pretty much almost towards the end of the show before I got a refill. Once they start serving the food the show is happening and as our server is quickly serving food down the row she is saying something about napkins covering your plate and before I can register what is happening I feel all of this sand hit me in my hair, on my shoulder and in my food. She knew when it was coming and it only happened once during the show but I feel like that was something she could have mentioned when she had our full attention before the show started. Myself and 3 other people in the row needed new plates of food. I know it's hard to make food for that many people all at once but the food was just ok. The chicken was good and the soup was ok. Pork was dry and corn was very chewy. As for the show the horse riding was fine. I think skeeter made the show with her comedy and I liked when they started the competition portion. Overall I wouldn't do it again and may not even suggest it to people to see unless you think it's something your kids would really love.

We discovered The Petersens through YouTube about six months ago, and our entire family has fallen in love with their music. We also adore who they appear to be as people. In person, they were just as genuine as they appear online. We very much enjoyed meeting them and seeing them perform. Our children go around the house singing Petersens songs. Well, maybe not just the children. It was a thrill for all of us to attend their show. There were new songs and pleasant surprises, but also enough familiar tunes that we love so much. There were also plenty of laughs. My wife pointed out to me later that the show ended up being an hour and forty-five minutes long. Wow! The time flew by. The musicianship, arrangements, and harmonies stand out to me more than anything. They are so good! Please go check out their show if you can. Even if you are someone who doesn't know their music, I am confident that you would enjoy the experience.

From where we started at the White River Landing, everything was smooth and well organized. The landing itself is charming, especially in the evening with string lights and a couple of shops designed to match the showboat's vintage aesthetic. There was a dedicated priority boarding line for Captain's Club guests that started on time and before general admission, so we avoided any wait. Staff efficiently guided us through boarding (complete with photo opportunity with an option to purchase later) and to our seats in the dining area. The dining experience was outstanding thanks to our attentive server and other dining staff. With Captain's Club, we enjoyed a menu to choose from, were served ahead of the general admission guests, and the food arrived quickly. During dinner, the show with the Rivertown Ramblers was energetic, also well-organized, and highly entertaining. The talented vocalists and musicians delivered a fantastic performance. The combination of the scenic cruise, great food, priority service, and live entertainment made for a memorable evening and one of the highlights of our Branson trip. I highly recommend the Showboat to anyone visiting and definitely upgrade to Captain's Club if you can.
