I can understand there are other patients that need to be seen also, but have some kind of communication. Left us there and never even checked on us. Literally, only person that came by was the cleaning guy sweeping the floor and actually made me lift my feet so he could clean. Seriously??? Wound up walking out at 1:30 in the morning without ever being seen. Horrible place.

I was expecting to die fairly soon, I moved to Arizona to be with my son and daughter-in-law to die. I did find a new doctor at the Mayo Clinic who found my NY diagnosis was a bunch of bulls**t. I had been diagnosed with an incurable blood cancer, the treatment was basically blood transfusions, I was prescribed a medication (Danazol) which caused paralysis in my legs, hospitalization for 3 months, then rehab for 4 month, I had to learn to walk again. My doctor in Arizona diagnosed me with kidney failure, started me on dialysis and immediately I began to feel better, before this diagnosis I was in a wheelchair because I was too weak to walk, couldn't drive, it was hell. After the new diagnosis my life changed significantly. Please, get a second opinion before taking Dr. Jain's word as final or I would actually tell you to find a different doctor and still get a second opinion

Something is up with their billing/coding department that needs to be reevaluated. My insurance is pretty straightforward & I'm not sure how one could screw it up. People going to this office type, especially, have enough to worry about. Patients shouldn't have to babysit their billing department to make sure they do their job properly. So to relieve the stress of dealing with NY Blood, I called my insurance company. The agent called on my behalf & made them fix their issues. I'm hopeful that they corrected their mistakes fingers crossed. So that's my suggestion, get your insurance company involved, or go elsewhere.

Because my father was seen that day, it allowed him to have a further work up done at the ER. He is now diagnosed with a chronic lung disease that needed further treatment. If I did not bring him to CityMD that day in January we would have never known about his chronic lung issue. The front desk was very nice and welcoming! For reference, the Starbucks closes around midnight, and the food court area closes for a short period at night and then re-opens. There are two main ways to get to the emergency department-either from the main floor and going down the escalators from the Starbucks or entering at the main ED. Pretty convenient. Parking for visitors is on the pricier side and it may be tough to find a spot earlier in the morning, but since they renovated the parking lot you should be able to find something. The breast clinic right across from the main visitor parking lot has free parking (only for patients and visitors for the breast center). For anyone looking for the surgical ambulatory care center (where they perform smaller surgeries) it's located right next to/behind the breast clinic so drive into the parking lot for the breast clinic and circle to your left and it should be right there.

To ensure I would not run into any issues, I submitted my medication request early. Despite this, my request was left unaddressed for over three days. Now, I am being told that the doctor is away and the nurse practitioner is unavailable, and that no one else can process my request. This has left me in a very difficult situation and feeling both helpless and offended. The Dr is amazing. His staff is horrible and remiss in my care. Leaving me without my medication cold turkey is also dangerous medically. Normally when I head to the doctor, I wind up getting my regular asthma meds and then thats that really. That's not what happened today. I've had a series of injuries over the past few years and not only did she address the issues, she made it a point to take it a step further, I assume because she wouldn't want to miss something she should have caught when I was there. Very thorough in everything she did. I left with a handful of paperwork, that was all detailed and simple to read and know who I should be speaking to next. I also was given detailed pages of information for all ailmnets that were discussed. But besides how well she does her job, her bedside manner is 100% perfect without question. I'm currently in a situation where it will be some time before I can get back to the doctor regularly, and she made sure encourage me to come back (She doesn't have to ask me twice. Place is great.) no matter the circumstances. I felt like I was talking to someone I knew for much longer than an hour. She makes every effort to speak to you in a way that you'll understand, and feel comfortable with. In the end, most doctor's office are pretty garbage. This isn't one. I've been there 5 times and haven't seen the same doctor/PA twice. They are constantly training new staff so it is very hectic and the intake process takes a long time. Be prepared to wait for your appointment. The doctors are very thorough and proactive with testing and treatment. I'm happy with the care, just not the process
