I made a new patient appointment with Dwayne Gorman, MD so my children could establish care after moving to Casa Grande. As soon as I mentioned that my children are not vaccinated, he completely shut down. He didn't acknowledge my kids at all and wouldn't listen to anything I tried to say. He told me he is pro‑vaccine and that he would bring up vaccines at every single visit. When I asked if he really meant every visit, he said "Absolutely." I told him that nothing in my research about him suggested this, and that I wouldn't have come if I had known. He said, "Well, I won't turn you away," but the way he treated us made me feel unwelcome and disrespected. I get it , you have your opinions and beliefs on this but to treat me and my kids differently because of the decisions I made for my kids is unacceptable. At least put it in your description on your website That you are pro vaccines and will not treat your patients the same if they are not . "Dr." Matt olson is the worsrst physician i have had the disservice of seeing in my life. He failed to look into my medical history and even after breaking both humorous bones in my arms and had 12 inch steel plates placed in both arms. Nearly a moth later i was lifeflighted to Tuscon due to swealing in the back of my brain which has caused severe migraines which dr. Olson failed to address. Since attending optima i have had 5 different drs. Which has prevented me from earning the trust of whatever dr i see on a daily basis. Overaĺl i am very upset about my treatment, as mr. Olson failed to follow up with any of my symptoms and simply judged me as a drug abuser without any research and i will be contacting an attorney due to the lack of care and general misdiagnoses. I attempted to establish a primary care physician and was first dumped off on a Nurse Practitioner. She quit and then I finally see a doctor. He speaks very little English so it was hard to have a good conversation about my care. It was determined that my primary care had no idea I was recovering from a triple bypass surgery. All of my medical records our outdated. Getting appointments has been less than stellar. I would suggest looking for other care where it is not a clinic style treatment and is actual personal care. It makes a big difference if the doctor actually knows what is wrong with a patient medically. read more

It is true that providers have changed quickly especially in the last few years. I have had 4 different providers in 12 years. Each time I was eventually connected with a doctor though there are quite a few PAs and nurse practitioners. I felt the providers listened and did not have any issues with my records, even the one from a different country that was harder to understand. He did more tests on the physical than I have had done in years. They do have signs up stating that they will not call back with lab results; if you want the results you need to make another appointment. I try to check with the provider ahead of time to get the lab sheet and tests done a week or two before coming into the office appt. That way the provider can let you know results when you come in. read more

Not sure what happened to this place, but it is a revolving door for providers! My recent appointments (trying to get referrals to specialist and Imaging) I was once again assigned a new provider Shanon Clint and her bedside manner has a lot to be desired, very rude and unprofessional. She has made so many mistakes on my medical records it is unbelievable! she put down in my visit notes that she has been treating me with a psychotic drug, but discontinued it because I was complaining about the effects of it after I had researched the drug ! WHAT... I have never been on a psychotic Med in my life ( why is this in my medical records ) ??? Very concerning ! Clearly you are rushed and do not have time to do proper charting and notes! She screwed up my referrals to Simon Med and has me diagnosed with the wrong medical code so they would not pay for my imaging. I had to pay for them out of my pocket ! I called her multiple times and all she does is argue with me and couldn't care less and will not admit she screwed up, nor will she correct her mistakes..... The amount of mistakes she has made on her notes and all my medical records that have caused nothing but problems with my insurance and specialist is unbelievable. This is only a handful of the issues there's not even enough space on this to mention all the issues and mistakes..... The office could care less Also I have sent emails and multiple phone calls to try to get this stuff resolved and they just blow you off ! Did Jeremy seem like he was going to help me but now he's gone I don't know why they change doctors nurses staff so much in Cassa grande but they do I want to prescription sent to Walgreens they sent it to Walmart. I said Walgreens on Pinal. They said they would call me with the results of my blood work now they don't wanna tell me what the bloodwork was. Unfortunately, I can't give zero stars. I went in and had a great experience. That's where it ended. They told me to and have my blood drawn. That was a fiasco. I did get it done that day. Then I was told that the results probably weren't accurate since I wasn't fasting. Ummm ... no one asked me if I had been fasting; no one told me to fast first. Margo Alvarez just told me (at my appointment) to go get the blood draw that day. I also need to have some medication (a shot). I have left dozens of messages regarding my medicine. I've still not received any call backs. I called and asked to speak to the office manager. I was sent to voice mail. Still no return call. I did speak to some other type of office manager (not sure what exactly her position is) who gave me a lot of lip service. I still have no shot, no evidence that anything has been done to obtain the shot, and no messages or calls from the office. I have been working on obtaining this since October 29. Don't bother with garrett montoya at the Casa Grande clinic. My opinion is that he is young, inexperienced and has NO bedside manner. He doesn't appear to me to actually care about the patient in front of him and is actually a little combative when the patient tries to advocate for themselves. My husband had a pain ribs, he saw Dr. Dustin, his vert nice. He ordered xrays n a ct scan of lungs. Xrays came back ok, but the ct scan was done at simon Med, and they say that it was faxed to the dr. 6 times. We called several times the dr.s office asking them to call simonmed, one of those times we spoke to Bonny n she was very rude to me n my husband, we mentioned to her that they should call n verify the fax # with them and she answered is in the order. We waited, and we called back n asked for the office manager. They told me it was Shelly, n bonny would send a message to her. I called several more times n was told the same thing. Finally, she called us n said she would call simon med and call us back. She never did. now in the website, they have a Corina Rios as the office manager. Well, i called this morning left message w/bonny for Shelly to call me. That was at 8 15 am. now is 2 30 called again Bonny answered put me on hold 15 minutes came back n said that she had just called Simon med and they had the wrong fax NUMBER, SO SHE GAVE THEM THE CORRECT FAX #. Therefore, the fax # they have on the test order is incorrect. If Bonny had called them 1 week ago, like we asked her, my husband would have the test results. I experienced discrimination and attitude from the MA and doctor. They were both very rude and made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. My wife and I have been going to Cottonwood Medical Center for over 7 years. We both see a PA Craig Conner. We both could not be more happy with the care that Mr. Conner provides. The check in process is painless as the two young ladies that help you check in have got to be the politest individuals in Casa Grande. Now just to let people know, that you, you may have a appointment say at 9 a.m. you may not get in at 9 a.m.. And once you get in to see your doctor you will see why. The doctors take their time with you, they listen and discuss everything with you. They do not rush you. With that said, I don't mind at all getting in a little late for my appointment. Cause I know that the person ahead of me may have decided to bring something up the doctor that is really important. I prefer quality care than "fast" care, and that what Cottonwood Medial Center provides. I would highly recommend PA Craig Conner to anyone, male or female. read more

P.A. Kevin Hall was recommended by a coworker five years ago, and i have been seeing him ever since, except on occasions when he was out of the office and took an appointment with one of their other medical members. Cottonwood Medical has worked me into their schedule more than once. there have also been several occasions when i couldn't get in, but those occasions weren't emergencies. when it really mattered, they got me in. read more

Very hard to speak to your PCP or the Medical Assistant associated with them. The automated system is horrible. Was placed on hold for 42 min 37 sec without anyone answering the line with an update of any kind.This is a norm for this Office. They neglected to refill a perscription that was processed via their own refill request and informed me that it would be refilled. I finally hung up and called back and only after 6 min and pressing 1 for an appt. My call was answered by Debbie C. Very professional and apologetic. Took my information, even called me back to give me an update. The one star is for her. My old Doctor left the pratice, maybe that was a hint. read more

My wife called this place today for the first time ever to get me scheduled to see a new PCP because I've been dealing with a severe itch skin irritation since Christmas 2022, it's now Jan 30th 2023. I've seen countless NP's because apparently doctors don't exist anymore. I'm also seen at the VA but they are just as bad if not worse than community care. I've been seen at urgent care as well as the ER and dermatology too. Long story short, apparently the girl on the phone with a snarky attitude couldn't be bothered to do her job a because it was close to closing time and rather than answer any questions, placed my wife on a 30 min hold until the clinic closed. Unprofessional. After having read all the other reviews about this place I can see why all the hate this place deserves. I'm in desperate need of medical attention and cannot get the care I need. If the ER can't help you as well as community care then this should be a wake up call to everyone that our system is broken and we need to raise hell to get these people to do their jobs they swore to do when they took the hippocratic Oath to become physicians. read more

I have had good care from the ladies that check me in and out or talk to on the phone, also the person that take your vitals before they take you to your waiting room, even the person that does the EKG, but as far as the others not so much, some doctors, nurses, the office manager and assistant manager, and the people that work at the billing department, are rude, arrogant, and non-professional, they don't care about your needs, my Doctor prescribes simvastatin to keep my cholesterol under control, and doesn't even have my blood tested to see if it is ok, I went in for my routine yearly physical, and all she did is check my ears and walked out of the room, this was Doctor Schooley, not expressed at all, she wears a stethoscope around her neck but maybe she doesn't know how to use it, all other Doctors would listen to your heart and lungs, maybe she was late for her coffee break, will never go back, that place needs to be shut down. read more

I have been going to see Dr. Ridge at Cottonwood Medical Center for many years and I have received excellent care. However, I have recently been advised that another company now manages the center. This company is now asking/directing their medical staff to ensure that patients undergo a 90 day wellness check in order to renew prescriptions. Prescriptions will only be written for a 30 days with a 90 day renewal thereby ensuring that patients come in every 90 days regardless of a need on the patients behalf. This is a terrible and unnecessary practice and nothing more than a money grabbing scheme. I will no longer be going to this clinic and I highly recommend that anyone considering this practice...go elsewhere. read more

Dangerously bad care! Their phone system has had problems for years. They know about it but do nothing to get it fixed. How bad is that? Try to get a prescription refilled. After waiting a couple of days for them to respond to my pharmacy's request to renew my prescription I began calling. No one answers. I left 4 voice mails which never received a response. My pharmacy never got a response. They faxed yet another request. Finally, after being out of my meds for several days, someone actually answers the phone. I ask why they did not respond to the voicemails and her response was that they did not know where those voicemails go! REALLY!? Choosing the option on your phone system to access prescription renewal and you have people leaving voicemails that you know will never be accessed? Imagine that you need those meds? They should be shut down immediately! They are endangering peoples health by not being able to provide the most basic services to sustain their patients' health. Some of the people who work there are good people but this place is totally mismanaged and incapable of providing care to patients. And yes this is under the 'new management'! LOOK ELSEWHERE! AWFUL! I was told to come in by my provider (who is great) as a walk in to receive weekly injections on Saturdays. Missed my first Saturday so I went Monday before noon only to be told they don't give injections after 11-11:30. I told her this wasn't conveyed to me. No exception even though there were two providers there at the time I came in. Took time off from work to be turned away. So today is Saturday turned away again their reason today.... they don't administer injections on Saturdays. Wow talk about unorganized & lack of communication within their facility and most importantly lack of customer satisfaction. If it wasn't for the fact the I have a great provider that works there, I would be going elsewhere. Get it together Cottonwood. Very dissatisfied. My time means nothing to them. read more

I applied for a job with CMC (Medical 360) . I went on 2 interviews. They sent me an email and offered me the job and I emailed them back to inform them I could start on 5/11. I did not hear back from anyone for over a week, even after numerous emails and calls to Catherine the HR person and Gabbie the Supervisor. I received an email yesterday from Catherine saying "unfortunately this position is no longer available". Just like that no apology of any kind. I applied for this position against my better judgement. I was cautioned against this company from past and current employees, I guess I should have heeded their warnings. I think that email was extremely rude and unprofessional. Catherine and Gabbie should definitely not be in charge of hiring employees. DO NOT APPLY for positions at CMC (Medical 360) they are horrible at communications and according to past/present employees, they treat their employees with blatant disregard, I guess I just got a small dose of that. Ive been going to Cottonwood since moving here 6 yrs ago. I really liked it until about a year ago when most of the Drs left. I saw 3 Doctors that were not very good at all. The last one Dr Ridge was my last straw. Not only was the place empty I sat in a room for over an hour waiting for him to come in. Then after taking xrays he started to show me another ladies xrays thinking they were mine. I told him I didn't have a back problem and that those were not mine. He had just examined me 20 min before. I found another Clinic to go to. Now I've got a $4.61 bill from Cottonwood 7 mos later. How can you refuse YOUR patient that came in for an appointment to get results for a X-ray that I paid for and who had either a mini stroke or a TIA on the 18th,any medical help? My Blood pressure was a stage 2 ,174 over 99 on Friday, just two days after the TIA. You said this was because I posted on Yelp about the terrible treatment I received from your office manager while you were off sick? (which you never asked my side of the encounter, nor did you check with Sam's pharmacy as to what really took place) As a physician my medical care was in your hands and you basically through me out of the office as you yelled, ponded on your desk as a threat and verbally attacked me in front of the who office and patients. Cottonwood medical Clinic used to be about the best provider here in Casa Grande. They are now down to 1 (one) Adult Doctor and a few P.A's. now. My question is why did all the good Doctors leave? I just called the Business Manager and told her my concerns and after listening to her response decided to terminate using them as my medical provider. They can't even get a good working telephone system in their Clinic which has been a problem for about two years. Don't be surprised if you get disconnected and have to call back. I have been going to Cottonwood for 4 years now and never had an issue until this year. I had an appointment in early Jan in regards to my hand at which point Sarsam told me that she would look at my hand at my well visit in 2 weeks. Ok well my insurance covers all well exams, however Cottonwood changed the exam to a check up not a well exam. So I have now been charged an office visit. Way to go on screwing people out of their money. Oh and by the way I wasn't told that I was going to be charged for this fee at the time of the appointment. read more
