    5 Stars - Absolutely Outstanding Tax Help!…read more I cannot recommend Robyn enough! I went to her with a nightmare situation: TurboTax had me owing $7,300 to the IRS. Robyn took one look, rolled up her sleeves, and worked tirelessly until that number dropped all the way down to $114. I left her a message on a Sunday, and by Monday at 3:30 I was sitting in her office. She stayed with me straight through until 8:30 that night, even during a monsoon storm outside, never once losing her patience or showing frustration, even though my file was a complete mess thanks to TurboTax. Yes, it cost me $850 to have her fix everything (on top of the $350 I had already wasted on TurboTax), but I would pay her fee a hundred times over before I'd ever give the IRS $7,300. Robyn is worth every penny. Her professionalism, dedication, and kindness blew me away. TurboTax will never advise you, correct you, or fight for you the way Robyn will. It was an expensive lesson, but one I'm glad I learned--because I've now found the person I trust with my taxes. I'll be filing my 2014 return with her next week, and I know I'll be in good hands. If you want someone who truly cares and goes above and beyond, call Robyn. She's a lifesaver!

    I was scammed by Nicole. If you're reading this, please find an actual CPA and not a CPA…read more"candidate". Nicole was hired to clean up my books for part of 2024, 25, and 26. We had a great conversation, and she seemed capable. However, the price was unclear. My business is small with minimal transactions. Nicole initially quoted $2 per transaction, but her minimum charge would be $1,000 even if I didn't have that amount of transactions. I agreed to this. I paid a $1,500 down payment on May 20th and asked Nicole not to send me surprise billing. She promised to send me a proposal, but it was delayed until I demanded that she stop working on my books as I saw no progress. I advised her that I would find another accountant to complete the job. By then, she claimed that 2024 (7 months) was complete and that I needed to pay for the work she did, even though I never signed a contract (it was never sent until after she knew she was being replaced). Nicole has billed me an additional $4,307.50 for 7 months of work that I have no documents to show that she ever did. I have since hired someone else to complete the job, but now I'm being threatened with legal action. I also read Brandi's review and wanted to give Nicole a chance, but I regret not taking the advice above.

I was a client of Joe Companik for 12 years. When he was acquired by H&H, it was a rocky start, but now that he has retired, there is absolutely ZERO reason to work with this firm. Poor service, an error on our return, delays and horrific communication. They refuse to answer the phone and won't call you when you request a call. I turned my materials in in early March and had to hound them to get my return done. I'm not convinced even now that we'll be able to file on time, as they haven't corrected the error and we are but 1 business day away from the filing deadline. I always appreciated having a conversation with my CPA; now I am not allowed direct contact with the preparer. It's clear they do not value me as a client, and I do not trust them. So I'll be going somewhere else pronto.

When I called on 5/1, they had a question on a receipt that I was not aware of and still do. It have taxes. The person who referred me to this firm had issues this year as well and will not be going back. Lack of communications and response all around. Very poor customer service and extremely unhappy with their service this year!

I am now weary of this office's covid policy. *** Updated reply to Lin Rawlinson Lin Chai, I am glad you replied to my post. I am concerned by your reply by below factors: 1. I rescheduled twice with you before I caught Co-VID due to my busy schedule. It was on my 3rd rescheduling when she told me I could not reschedule again. All my rescheduling with the exception of Co-VID was with ample notice (At least 2 weeks out). Concerns: Your clients are very busy people and when you are pompous to tell your client they cannot reschedule, it tells me your office is not customer focused nor you are a friendly office. Additionally, when it comes to public health safety, it raises concerns on your office's ability to provide a clean and safe environment for visiting clients. Requesting 1 day cancel notice from someone who just found out he caught COVID was not only illogical and unconcerning, it was downright irresponsible as an office that opens to the public. 2. Your receptionist was the one who hung up on me when I questioned your office policy on CoVID. Concerns: Placing public health safety for those who visits your office help build trust and shows care and respect to those who visits your office. For the reasons above, I did not choose your office. I was interviewing 2 other CPA offices that were friendly, professional, and understanding. I have since selected one of them. I hope you will review your office professionalism and health and safety protocol, but equally important, the honesty of the people in your office. It takes a lifetime to earn trust, but seconds to lose it.
