He started off with "I saw your review and sorry to hear you had to resort to this to get our attention". *burst into flames* I was incapable of speaking with him due to how incredibly traumatized I am, so I had my husband speak with him. Long story short, he is taking zero personal responsibility or accountability for putting my life at risk. He kept giving shallow excuses and continued to rationalize his actions-- even as far as to blame it on me. He kept on justifying his approach, even said that it worked for other people. How laughable. Stay away from doctors that will not treat you like an individual & lump you with everyone else. If you look at my previous review, he put me on an extreme protocol BEFORE any testing-- 17 supplements, daily sauna, daily coffee enema, detox diet & $4000+. It nearly killed me as it sent me to the ER with an adrenal crisis. Even without testing me, it doesn't take a genius to know that my 10 years of breast implant illness and recent major surgery resulted in me having adrenal insufficiency. His protocol was the antithesis of healing adrenal insufficiency. His protocol was LETHAL for adrenal insufficiency. He knows what he did to me was dangerous. Why? Because my tests (taken after the prescribed protocol) clearly showed adrenal insufficiency! Let me make myself clear... NO ONE with adrenal insufficiency should be doing ANY ONE of the following: coffee enemas, sauna, parasite cleanse, detox diet and be on multiple supplements. What a mistake. Go elsewhere for care instead, they have real NDs elsewhere. Between my husband and I, we saw 2 "doctors" there. This place is just a money trap... That's all that they are about. That is literally all that they are about. To such a degree it's disturbing. If you have lived in Los Angeles awhile, you are used to people trying to get all the money they can out of everything, charging for things that should not be charged. But this place should win an award. An absolute LIFE CHANGE! I went in for Neurotherapy with Dr. Lee and it was one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced. I know how that sounds...so hear me out. You got your seatbelt on? Good! Dr. Lee "reset" my nervous system. Yes, he literally reset it to 0, to baseline. Before I went in, I was at about an 11 on a scale of 1-10 for stress and anxiety. I was so fragile and wound so tight, I could shatter at any moment and did. After the Neurotherapy...I went to a 1. The world...phew....it felt like it was made of marshmallows. They are friendly, but misguided. They run a lot of tests and prescribe a lot of IV and vitamins. And when this does not work, they just change their minds and prescribe something else. For example, I had high EVB, so they said to get 5 expensive ozone IVs. So I did those and paid to my EVB checked again. It came back higher. Then they said it was not a problem at that level and that it could just be a flare up. This is really horrible now that I think back about it. This was only 1 example of several of the same tactic. I am an avid runner, had arthroscopic surgery and after 5 months I still wasn't able to get my knee to feel quite right. First off I must give Dr. Lee and the entire staff my sincere appreciation for having such kind and informative customer service at Optimal Health & Wellness. Each consultation my wife and I felt we were treated like royalty. My wife had a difficult issue from years of dance instruction she developed a very painful near bone on bone injury in both knees. It was a pain level of 10 out of 10 for about a month. Dr. Lee answered all of her questions thoroughly before proceeding with PRP injections in and around both knees. Now the knees were very tight and didn't feel completely functional enough to dance with for a measly 3-5 days. So the very next week on day 7 post PRP she gave it a go and was dancing. Her pain level was know just a 3. Then after a month she was teaching tap dance classes with no pain at all. Very satisfied to bring in my wife and find treatment that was surgery free and allowed her to comfortably do what she loves again. As for myself I had a pain level of an 8 solely due to some once or twice a week acupuncture that was being treated elsewhere. This was followed a horrific car accident where I was T Boned "hit twice" by a raised full size Dodge Ram in my family sedan. I had received two rounds of epidural injections in the spine over two years and those began to wear of every 3-4 months. I have to give credit where credit is due. With a 10 year bout with IBS-D, Dr. Lee suggested trying stem cell injections. I did my research, spoke with my GI Doctor and decided to try it out. He injected 1/2 the stem cells into my back and the next day I already notice my back pain disappear along with shooting pain I had down my right leg. The other 1/2 was given through an IV to treat my IBS. The entire process took less than 1 hour! I have seen Dr. Lee on two occasions and am planning to see him again next month. On the first office visit, Dr. Lee gave me an IV containing stem cells and numerous vitamins (mostly Vitamin B) as well as gave me a stem cell injection into my left elbow. I was 54 years old at the time and did the IV a year and a half ago as an overhaul that brings renewed health and vitality. I have been playing water polo since I was 14 years old so all those years of playing will take a toll on your body. The pain in my elbow stopped a month after the injection and still no pain today. I did the yearly physical and my primary care doctor gave me a clean bill of health. He said most patients my age usually are on some form of medication for high cholesterol or high blood pressure. But there's even a better story... During Thanksgiving I tore my meniscus. My knee would pop in and out and it was painful. When I went to see the orthopedic doctor, he recommended surgery. But then the doctor added that once you cut tissue you can't get it back and it could lead to arthritis from the bone on bone which could later lead to a knee replacement. I told Dr. Lee about it and he said the stem cell injection would heal it. He was right! It took 3 months for my knee to be 100%. If you were to take an mri of my knee today, it won't show a tear. My daughter has had GI problems for 10 years. She's had many test that were normal which resulted in a diagnosis of IBS. Conventional doctors would only give her medication that did not help her. I was a long time repeat customer for years. It's been quite some time since I've been here. I go so far back that I remember when they used to have their original facility in Monterey Park. So I try to make an appointment. I was told I had to pay for a consultation. I remember the first time I went to their location they told me it was a one time fee and I would never would have to pay again. I was surprised when she told me I would still have to pay $200 just to see the doctor. Plus their prices have increased. I was felt this facility in regards to their prices were a little much. Since over the years they increased their prices. But the price they were giving for PRP in the consultation combined was too much for me. I'm open to the idea of paying for the PrP since I know how good it works. But to pay $200 just to see the doctor after being a long time customer. Decided to come back after some time. I can't say enough good things about Dr Clement Lee and his team. He is extremely knowledgeable and takes his time listening to your health history and concerns, and comes up with a unique plan to help you on your health journey. He did neural therapy on my hip scars (dating back 25 years from 5 different hip surgeries) as well as prolozone therapy on both hips (injected with dextrose, colloidal silver and ozone), and I have seen profound results. I'm writing this as I'm walking out of the building. My parents and I have been getting vitamin shots from here for about a year and a half. I don't think they do anything but my parents swear they make them feel better, so they drag me along every time. Every time I come and they explain to me the treatments they offer I want to roll my eyes because of how stupid they sound. Anyway, today my dad forced me to try an IV treatment since I'm sick and going to be traveling starting tonight. The "Doctor" girl asked me a bunch of questions and told me to do a bunch of stuff like buy their supplements and products for all of my flushing and toxin needs. So I finally get hooked up, and they put the first thing through my system. Silver something. Then they put the second thing. Immediately I feel it taking over my arm, going up into my chest and torso, and to my face. I felt like everything inside of me was puffing up. I couldn't breathe and my throat was closing. I had no sense of feeling in my arm. My whole body was tingly and burning. The best way to visualize it is as some sci-fi alien virus turning your body into a plasma. This was the first time I actually felt like I was going to die. I did NOT feel safe with the people around me. They were trying to calm me down and gave me oxygen. My face was red. So basically they called it a panic attack and said it happened because I was freaking out about the IV juice going into me. They said it had nothing to do with the actual IV, it was just my reaction to being hooked up and feeling uncomfortable about the feeling. I was not anxious about this at all. There were 3 other people hooked up next to me doing fine, I had been there a million times for other treatments, and I knew all of the workers there, why would I have been nervous? I was panicking because I didn't feel safe and I thought I was going to die. The panic set in after the actual pain. I don't care what they said, that wasn't a panic attack- at least at first. I did panic eventually, but only because of what I was feeling- which was not a panic attack- see the difference? So I felt better eventually after they unhooked me and some time passed. I told my mom to sue if I die later. I was pretty upset and filled with so much rage that the first thing I could think to do was whip out yelp and write this review. Overdue but- I was referred to Dr. Lee by someone I knew who was having a sort of mystery illness, had been to a ton of doctors with no results l, and was much better after finally finding Dr. Lee. I had tried at least 4 or 5 different kinds of doctors for the issues I was having, and each one made a different guess and prescribed something different, only for me to have no results or results that were very temporary. I read all the reviews for here and decided to give it a shot. I am sooooo very satisfied with my results from seeing Dr. Lee. I was a 20 something year old female living in Los Angeles and I constantly looked like I was running on 2 hours of sleep even if I wasn't, and felt terrible also. I felt sick almost every day and had just sort of (unhappily) accepted that that was just how it was going to be. I also was completely unable to wear makeup without breaking out in rashes and I had CONSTANT allergy symptoms (with no ACTUAL allergies). So to start off with my story I was diagnosed with h-pylori in March 2020 which is a really bad stomach infection. I have been to regular doctors and traditional Chinese doctor and nothing has gotten rid of my bug. So today was my first consultation with Dr.Sara. She was very thorough which I love. She asked about my whole story from beginning to current and is going to do extra testing that the regular doctor didn't do. She was helpful and informative.
