It took me a lot of time, strength, courage to write this review because of how deeply traumatized I am about my experience. This is a long review, but please read the entire thing if you are thinking of coming here for treatment. I was under the care of Clement Lee and he not only put my life in danger, but he took financial advantage of me. His actions were unethical, greedy and should have his license revoked. I'm convinced majority of these reviews are fake by the way he treated me. It's a shame because I wanted to trust him and give him a chance because he is of the same heritage as me. First off, he prescribed me 17 different supplements without doing any testing to see if I actually needed any of these. I also informed him of how I had limited funds of $10k to spend on treatment (I haven't worked for 2 years due to debilitating chronic illness. I have legitimate financial trauma due to being sick, which he knew). After only ONE visit, I spent a total of $4180 (tests, supplements, visit & an overpriced sauna he recommended that he got a % of). Long story short-- the protocol he put me on was way too harsh for the state I was in and nearly put me into an adrenal crisis. I had to go to the ER. This was at the end of May and I am still recovering. I was barely able to lift my head off my pillow. I called his office multiple times, pleading with the front desk that something was terribly wrong-- their answer was always "you're just going through detox symptoms". It was reminiscent of the times I got gaslit and dismissed by conventional medicine. After I went through my adrenal situation, I called the office informing them and they answered "you need to book another visit" which is another $400! Not knowing what to do and feeling absolutely helpless, I turned to multiple chronic illness related Facebook groups and shared what I was going through. Several functional doctors reached out to me as a result-- I spoke with them through private message and shared my test results with them. EVERY SINGLE of them said that the protocol was way too overboard, dangerous for my condition and that what he did was extremely unethical. I saw another functional doctor for a proper consult, and he said that I did NOT need the majority of these expensive supplements for my condition-- as a matter of fact, he told me that some of them were making me much worse. He also agreed that the protocol was dangerous, extremely greedy and unethical. This new doctor informed me that Dr. Lee did a "shotgun approach" which is basically playing a guessing game with my illness and often times increases symptoms, incurs unnecessary costs & delays the identification of the most effective treatment. With my limited funds, my treatment should have been more precise to target my actual illness-- like prescribe me supplements that I actually NEED that would have helped me. I also have severe ptsd from medical trauma from conventional medicine-- those with chronic illness know exactly what I'm talking about. I also had a major surgery this past January-- another trauma. And I ALSO have financial trauma. I have complex ptsd from all this that he knew about, yet still took financial advantage of me and put my life in danger. Safe to say that this experience pushed me over the edge. It took me so long to write this review because I feel frozen in my body with all of this trauma. I'm sure I invoked fear in him because I asked the office multiple times for all my medical records related to my case & he ended up personally calling me-- I told him everything that happened including the severe retriggering of cptsd and he offered to read my test results for free over the phone to see what was going on with me. He quickly went through my bloodtests, but did not go through my mold or gi map test. I asked him if he was going to go through them, and he said the following week-- but of course I never got a call from him. Extra credit: They even mishandled the blood draw & left me a big bruise. Experiences like mine are the reason why naturopaths have such a bad rep for being quacks. I will never let this go. I will continue to tell my story on every platform possible. That money to him meant nothing as he carelessly risked my life over it. He has helped me with all sorts of problems from chronic pain to high blood pressure to insulin resistance to a lump in my breast to fertility issues to nutritional deficiencies to parasite concerns to Epstein Bar concerns to leaky gut issues and a sluggish metabolism, which could possibly be caused by Hashimoto's thyroiditis. If I could afford it, I'd get him to figure out my cholesterol situation. He's innovative in the way he treats his patients and in how he thinks about wellness. What a COLOSSAL waste of time and money. I came to Dr Lee for help with chronic pain and weight loss. I did every test, cleanse, took every pill he had me purchase, did every IV he suggested, gave myself injections and came to the office for more injections (none of which is covered by insurance). After seeing him for 6 months and spending THOUSANDS of dollars, I am in more pain, weigh more and have developed a thyroid problem from thyroid medication he prescribed that I did not need. read more

I was referred to Dr.Lee by a friend who had successful treatment by him. I was training for a half ironman and had a whole mess of aches all over from chronic pain and excessive training: shin splints, shoulder strain, knee pains and neck aches. I was very skeptical at first, I've never heard of prolotherapy and I'm completely frightened by needles. Dr. Lee is very understanding, thorough and patient, he explained what the treatment in great detail. It is definitely frightening the first time and painful, but it definitely works. The first few times I had to really talk myself into coming back for more shots, but now I'm excited to feel better. A while ago I partially tore my right hamstrings. Dr. Lee is an old friend of mine and I figured I would give it a shot as I have never been to a doctor of his type before. I went in and he administered Prolotherapy and massaged the crap out of my hamstrings. The tearing was pretty bad but within a week I was surprised to be able to JOG. Then in about a two weeks I was able to run 1.5 miles in a little under 12 minutes. recovery time was amazing and now I refer all my friends that have physical injuries to Dr. Lee. Since then I have ran 3 Half Marathons, 2 Triathlons, a Road Bicycle Race and various 5k and 10k runs. It's like it never happened. Flexibility is also back to what it was before the hamstrings tore. I've known Dr. Lee since college and first sought his help when I hurt my neck doing something stupid. During that first visit, I mentioned that I have had stomach issues for as long as I can remember but had been seeing gastro specialists to treat it. Dr. Lee recommended that I test for food intolerance and it turns out that I'm intolerant to basically everything I love to eat! My sister had the same issues as me and found out she's intolerant to a lot of food too. It's been a difficult journey having to abstain from the foods we love (and we still "blame" him for our suffering) but the stomach pains have been MUCH more tolerable and controlled. I even lost a lot of weight when I was strict on my diet. My sister and I still regularly come in to get adjusted and to fix other random ailments (which I seem to have a lot of). Dr. Clement is by far one of the nicest and most patient doctors ive met. I visited his clinic for my broken ATFL. Ive visited so many hospitals and as a result, it still felt like my foot was detached. Ive done physical therapy and it helped me A LOT but only up to 80%. After dr. Clements treatment, my foot is back to SOLID feeling. Stronger and better. I thought I was done with sports but now that I can see and feel my foot is doing better, im more confident to go out. His treament is all natural. I came in for other stuff and he is always so patient with me. I asked a lot of questions due to so many disappointed results at elsewhere. If I could live here, I totally would!!! I've been coming here for a few weeks now.. getting treatment for my neck, TFL and IT band. I'm a marathon runner and fitness fanatic.. so I put my body through a lot of stress, wear and tear. I had to stop running about 2 months ago because of knee and hip pain. This review is an enthusiastic 5 stars. TLDR review: Could barely walk from torn ligaments injury, 24 hours after Ozone and PRP, gained near full strength. In-Depth Review: I came into Dr Lee's office with severe pain and weakness in my left ankle from a basketball injury I suffered approximately 6 weeks before (3 torn ligaments). The best gauge of my injury was the exercise bike, and before going to Dr Lee I was unable to do it for more than 5 minutes, after which I would get a sudden onset of pain, weakness, and swelling that would force me to stop. I elected to do ozone injections on the advice of Dr Lee, and decided to do PRP as well because if its good enough for Kobe Bryant I figured it was good enough for me. In order to do PRP Dr Lee drew my blood, put it in a centrifuge, and then prepared it to be injected. It was pretty neat to see this procedure in action, as I have read about it for years and always assumed it to be outside of my price range. Dr Lee numbed the ankle and warned me it would hurt a little bit. The injections lasted less than 5 minutes. Dr Lee told me the ankle would swell for 24 hours, but that I would begin to heal much quicker and would be feeling better shortly. THIS WAS QUITE AN UNDERSTATEMENT: 48 hours later I got on the exercise bike, 5 minutes passed by, then 10, 20, once I got to an hour my ankle still experienced no pain. It felt miraculous almost. So the bike test has been a resounding success. In terms of walking, I am able to go farther distances with little discomfort. I now am even able to do some lite jogging. I am mentioning this, because the timeline I got from my orthopedist had lite jogging 6 more months down the line. In summary I highly recommend Ozone and PRP therapy administered by Dr Lee. I am so happy with my results, and I still can't believe how what looked like a chronic and long term injury has turned into an almost fully healed injury in such a short time frame. Lastly I would like to highlight how the whole office experience at Optimal Health and Wellness is awesome. The staff are kind and welcoming, and very well informed. The Dr saw me at the time of my scheduled appointment (this is becoming so rare these days!), and payment was reasonable (a down right bargain given my results) and seamless. I know Dr. Lee personally, but this review is for him as my doctor. Six years ago, I started developing very bad eczema on my face and neck. I spent the next two/three years seeking treatment from different dermatologists, allergists, hospitals and doing numerous testings and taking different medication, from OTC to prescription, topical to oral to shots. You name it, I've treated it. Having the redness and dry patches on my face made me insecure about myself (I'm getting a little teary just writing this.) Anyway, my symptoms would subside and would come back, and I wasn't really getting better. Then I met Dr. Lee, and he told me that my condition is 100% treatable and I would be 100% eczema-free. WHAT?! To be honest, I was a little resistant at first, because ALL the previous doctors and specialists have told and told and told me, there's no cure for chronic eczema and I would have to rely on cortisol for the rest of my life. At that point, I was brainwashed by all the doctors, and convinced myself that I wasn't gonna get better ever. When Dr. Lee made such a bold statement, I was really hesitant to believe him. But I decided to try it as my last resort (after my last dermatologist straight up told me there's nothing he could do for me.) Dr. Lee took the time with me and diagnosed me as having liver issues and put me on a chemical and heavy metal detox treatment and liver support (all the medication I took before was hurting my liver.) Guess what!?!! That was ALL IT TOOK!!! A couple weeks later, my eczema was getting better on its own! I also did an extensive allergy testing with him, and the result confirmed Dr. Lee's suspicion that I was allergic to some types of food that I ate every day (how funny no previous testing showed detailed enough results.) He then put me on a more balanced diet. A couple months later, my eczema was gone completely. My eczema hasn't come back in the past four years. Except for some discoloration spots from my old eczema, my face has been clear since then. Of course, I still take good care of my skin and try to eat healthy to maintain my clear skin, but I'm not worried like I was before. Oh also, bonus! Through this detox treatment, I lost around 10 lbs that year. I lost more weight the second year since I decided to continue the detox. Now as I look back, I finally understood what was going on then. My skin condition was a warning sign from my body to tell me that my liver and digestive systems weren't processing the food and the toxins in my body. But every dermatologist I went to just gave me some cream or pills to calm my face, they never really understood the root of the problem, which was my liver and digestive system. Those medication further damaged my liver's ability to process toxins. It's like putting out fires at the same time fueling it. That was why I wasn't getting better. Knowing what I know now, I take my health and well-being extremely seriously. I had a total change of life style and I see things differently now. (It wasn't easy. It took me a year to finally eat cleaner, but it was worth it.) I'd like to also encourage anyone out there with chronic allergic condition to give Dr. Lee and his treatment a try, because I've been there and I know how hard it was. Start looking at the problems beyond your symptoms and start looking for the source of the problem. I have to say I got more than I bargained for. Most regular Doctors charge you an initial $150 fee for a first time consultation that barely lasts 10 minutes. They focus on the symptoms and don't seem interested in getting to the core of the problem. With Dr. Lee it was quite the opposite. He spent a good hour reviewing my health problems and his focus was about determining the root of my issues. For years I have been suffering from digestive problems, food allergies and skin rashes. He offered a broad spectrum parasite and allergen test that determined that I was indeed suffering from a parasitic infestation. I have a herniated disc that was casing pain in my neck and tingleness down my left arm. My HMO wanted to put me under the knife and operate on me. I went to see Dr. Lee for prolotherapy after I went in to see another Dr. first. The differences were night and day. Love Dr. Clement Lee! I went to go see him about three years ago for a virus similar to lyme disease and fibromyalgia pains. I had seen many traditional/ western medicine physicians and most of the time they gave me roundabout visits and prescription drugs to keep me sedated. After carefully searching for a Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD), I booked my first appointment that led to 1.5 hour drives for several months. I recently saw Dr. Lee for what had been diagnosed by my Kaiser doc as "bursitis". The kaiser doc insisted that I take antibiotics even after drawing fluid out of my knee that clearly wasn't infected. I went to Dr. Lee a few years back. I had not felt well since Oakwood had Orkin put toxic pesticides in my home which I had a sign out and signed a notice at the front desk NOT TO USE ANY CHEMICALS in my home as I"m very allergic and so was my cat. But they did and got away with it. I didn't feel well. All the numerous drs I'd seen did the standard blood and urine tests and said I was fine. But I knew something was wrong. I can run again! For the last five years or so, whenever I would try to run, I would feel excruciating pain in my hips. I would wait a long time, thinking I would give whatever it was a chance to heal. Then, I would try again. The same thing would happen. Crippling, excruciating pain. I went to my regular MD, who ordered an MRI. I was sent from there to an orthopedic surgeon. He said he could not help me. The MRI apparently showed a labral tear, but surgery could not fix it. I just resigned myself to the fact that I would never be able to run again. Not even if I had to run for my life, which was extremely disturbing. Excellent. I have gone for: Weightloss, Prolotherapy for my back and foot, my baby girls constant colds, my colds. My name is Ms. Luna tell him I sent you and tell him to use my account to get you the 10% discount on purchases. When my daughter was about 2 she was often sick like the other kids in her day care. Dr Clement recommended a nebulizer and some homeopathic medicine and it made all her mucus come out so she could sleep and get better. It worked like a charm. The pediatric doctor at White Memorial Hospital was not able to help. I use it too now. Next, I was limping because my ankle hurt. I had a ligament injury on my left knee over a year ago when I was working out in the gym. I have seen over 8 different orthopedic, got 6 Cortisone shots, 5 months of physical therapy, some acupuncture and massage treatment. The knee problem was getting worse and worse. My left knee get swollen if I walk for over 20 minutes. If I drive or sit in the car for more than 2 hours my knee feels pain and swollen. In addition, walking on the stairs is so painful and my knee makes the "click" sound every time I bent my knee. I had tendinitis in my elbow for a couple of weeks the first time I saw Dr. Clement. He used a smooth piece of metal on my elbow joints and the next day my elbow was better and the issue has not recurred. The second time him I saw him I had an impinged shoulder that has been recurring for a year. I had seen another traditional doctor about it and he said nothing could be done except surgery, maybe some physical therapy, but in general I would have to deal with it probably for the rest of my life. I had read about prolotherapy and saw that Dr Clement performed that. After one visit of prolotherapy with him my shoulder has gotten much better - enough that I have done pullups without relapse.
