When I got there to give them my new insurance card the receptionist was not only nasty even tho I check with my insurance that he was still in my plan, she insisted the office wasn't and then asked me to leave even tho I was willing to pay to see him but said I couldn't afford to see the doctor and then waved her hand at me as to say go away that she couldn't be bothered with me . In turn I called my insurance company again and told them about this office they told me he was in the plan and to tell the office if they would call them but did call the office and told them what insurance said and she insisted there was no reason to call the insurance . Needless to say I ended up at the Er since I could hardly walk. I would not recommend this office since they need an attitude adjustment with their staff . He has guided me through rehabilitation before and after two knee and one shoulder replacement. He listens and responds with helpful treatment and makes suggestions to help me get back to my normal functioning level. He has been wonderful with my husband, Kenneth who has Parkinson's and who he has also seen many times. Kris is sensitive and considerate and is always including therapy that is helpful to his changing needs. He has been a godsend and we are both so grateful. I was referred to Rob Rob O'Connell at Summit Physical Therapy, by both other medical professionals and several friends. I started two weeks post surgery and and have made a lot of progress. Recovery from TKR is difficult, but going to Summit PT twice a week has given me both confidence and comfort that I'm progressing and eventually will be back to myself - an active 68 year old. I've been a health professional for 40 years and have had physical therapy for various orthopedic and sports conditions, and by far Summit PT is the best. The center is bright, welcoming and immaculate. When I'm there, I see not only how Rob works with me, but how the other therapists work with their patients as well: they are hands on, attentive and 100 % engaged with the people they are helping. I would rate 6 Stars if Yelp would allow!…read more Several friends had highly recommended SHPT (Somerset Hills Physical Therapy) so after my total hip replacement they were my first call for outpatient PT (and only call). I had never had any type of surgery before my hip replacement so to say I was apprehensive heading into therapy would be an understatement. From my first consultation to today, the staff has been incredible. From scheduling appointments to dealing with insurance they took care of everything, so I could focus on rehab. My therapist has been not only incredibly knowledgeable and demanding (challenging me to push myself to regain mobility i had not known for almost a decade) but patient. At 41 with 2 young children I now have a second chance to participate pain free in their lives. I was very fortunate to have a great surgeon, Dr. Harlan Levine. But without Somerset Hills Physical Therapy my outcome would never have reached the level it is today! I strongly recommend Somerset Hills Physical Therapy!
