Their shop doesn't win any awards for aesthetics, but never mind that. I found them by chance. Since then I have taken all my cars to them and recommended them to anybody who needs a mechanic. Took a used car I was considering buying for my daughter for them to check out. Wow! The put it up on the lift, checked it from the suspension to the exhaust, removed wheels to check brakes/rotors, checked A/C, alternator, electrical system, computer diagnostics. They even drove the car. After giving it a clean bill of health, they charged me 1/3 of quotes I was getting from others, who I doubt would be as thorough. That was 4 years ago, and to this day they still remember the car and ask about my daughter who went off to college in the car Dad bought! Can't get better.

My Progressive claims adjuster submitted the claim details late in the afternoon on a Friday to start the repair process the following week, and within 10 minutes I had a call from the offices at Diamond Automotive to try to schedule my appointment to drop off my car. The lady I spoke with was so nice and professional and wanted to help me any way that she could to make me feel at ease during the process. When I arrived at Diamond Automotive, they checked me in and set me up with my representative, Manny who was an absolute delight, shook my hand and made me feel welcome and walked through the damage to my car and next steps along with an estimated time frame. While I was meeting with Manny, the front desk had already been speaking with Enterprise and had someone en route to come pick me up to take me to the rental car lot while I was checking my car in for repairs. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Manny called me back the same day to update me on how my car looked, an estimate of the cost of the damages billed to Progressive and next steps and estimated time line. Diamond Automotive was already ordering parts and getting the wheel in motion to get my car back to me as quick as possible (the hold up was with Progressive being cheap and not wanting to pay all of the cost of damages done to my car by another Progressive driver - but that's nothing against the body shop there). Diamond Automotive went above and beyond to help me and kept me informed every step of the way and got me my car back as soon as possible and the repair work was truly superb. I was in the car and they were still detailing the car to make sure their work was flawless. I hope to never have body work done again, but if I do it will definitely be with Diamond Automotive.

From the moment I came to their doors, frustrated over the first 3 estimates I'd gotten for my rear end collision, and dreading how much I'd have to pay out of pocket because the person who hit me was uninsured and I wanted to avoid my insurance, Andre's Cortes gave me some hope as I noticed he knew what he was talking about and wanted to help me find financially sound but quality parts. They were knowledgeable, professional and had a true sense of customer service. It made me want to fix additional parts I'd been meaning to have painted, like the front bumper and hood. I found his business card at my local bank and called for an estimate and told him my situation and the cars noise he came to my house for a check up that same night and charged a normal amount for a check up and told me it was inner and outer tie rods but me having no knowledge with cars, he actually went to buy the parts and came back the next day to fix my car. The amount that he charged was honestly the cheapest amount out of all of the dealers and other mechanics I've called after he checked my car. Everybody else was charging me almost close to $1000 for this but I was curious to know if other dealers and other mechanics will charge the same or less. He also takes videos and pictures and shows you the before and after, so you can actually see the difference and you can see what been done to your car. He was very sweet and patient with me considering I kept asking questions. I believe the job took him an hour to an hour and a half to finish. After that, I actually called him once more because I was having another issue with my car and just like the first time he was very sweet and patient with me and he did charge me an amount that was doable for me. He ended up fixing my sway bar links and this time during the day.

They claimed that once they removed the bumper, they "discovered hidden damage" and had to do more extensive work, including repainting and replacing clips. The final bill? $1,350. No call, no approval, no update in between -- just a completely different price when I showed up. I asked why I wasn't contacted before the extra work was done, and all I got was a shrug and, "Well, it had to be done." Extremely unprofessional. I would never go back here again, and I suggest you think twice before trusting them with your car.
