Bad customer service, they are constantly raising their rates at a percentage far greater than the cost of living increase, and even the phone number listed for our local office is not current. So every time I have a problem I have to stand in a long line at their office. They are the only high speed internet provider in this area.... Suddenlink is singularly the worst business I have ever had the displeasure to engage. I've had cable service since the late 70's, and have had no fewer than 8 different cable companies over time. I've made more calls and spent more time on the phone (15-20 hours) with tech and billing with Suddenlink in 9 months than I have all the other cable companies I've had over 40 years combined. I now have their internet service only. Apparently they have a 1K gig service available in Bullhead City. Even though they sell a 100 and 200 gig service, in order to not be limited to a miniscule data plan, you have to buy their 400 gig plan ($80./mo.) when the service is working properly (approximately 80% of the time), you'll be damn lucky to speedtest @ 150 gig. My understanding is that the locally user owned electric service, Mojave Co-op, is in process of starting an internet cable service. That can't happen soon enough as far as I'm concerned. read more

I would get more service from a hooker than I do these people. It's been 6 days now of no internet. I moved and they were supposed to shut the internet off on the 30th after they came today, the 29th, to move the box over. But instead they shut us off 5 days early and they didn't know why and they couldn't do anything about it. Everything is "call tomorrow". Well it's the 29th and found out they cancelled the appointment that was for today and guess what! "Call back tomorrow." Well guess what you POS joke of a company. This company is a joke! We have been without service for over a month. We have elderly people who need a home phone and internet service in case of emergencies and they just don't care! They have scheduled multiple appts and have not shown up to any but one and that tech didn't even do anything. Had to ask for a call back after hours of holding. I had a cable person suppose to come out and change a box in my home. was scheduled to come out 8 to 11 it is now 3 pm. no one has shown up. I called suddenlink 3 times no body got back to me after asking for a call back. finally a lady answered she checked my acct, oh I see a tech was to be out between 8 and 11 let me see what happened. can you please hold. she came back, said I see he ever showed up.. Duh! then she said I will have someone return your call to solve the situation. Well its been 20 minutes and Im still waiting. What a joke this company is, I will most likely cancel this account and go to walmart and get a $50.00 window antenna. iat least that wont cost me $115.00 a month. I agreed to a television promotion package after a Suddenlink employee called me. Normally, I don't watch TV, but the offer sounded good. The first box was installed on May 27th. The technician just showed up without calling, even though I requested a few minutes warning so I could put my dogs in another room. He left and at that point, Netflix was not coming up through the button on the remote. It required some kind of remote reset from the company. The Netflix issue was resolved as promised, however this pink tint and no sound issue has been happening daily any time the TV is turned off for more than a few minutes. Also, the box resets itself nightly at various times. On Friday May 29th, I called around 6:15 p.m. MST and told them the situation. The representative told me it was a faulty HDMI cord and to go buy one at a local store, or he could ship me one for $9.99. I told him absolutely not. I wasn't going to pay for something that they had just installed two days earlier. He said the first appointment was for June 3rd. I accepted it. Again, the same representative showed up without calling. He said it wasn't the HDMI cord and gave me a new box which required another network change and I had to reset all of the devices in my home. He left and that night, the same issues happened. I called them again and asked for a supervisor. I was told there is a 24 hour turnaround time for a supervisor callback. I waited the 24 hours then called back. This representative insisted on me letting them try to fix the problem remotely. I did as they asked. They also told me there was no code for a supervisor callback on my account. I asked for it again and let them know the remote attempt wasn't working. The service tech was scheduled to come out on Saturday June 6th between 8-11. Because of this, I had to delay a trip out of town. I called them at almost 11:50 and was told the representative would be there by 8pm. Again I asked for a supervisor callback. You guessed it, still no representative, still no supervisor callback. I called again after the 8pm deadline and spoke to a very nice representative AFTER BEING REROUTED THROUGH THE SYSTEM twice. He assured me that the 8-11 slot and the "go back" slot were still in my account and if he changed anything, it would put me to the back of the line. I told hill this is my fourth request to speak to a supervisor and if the issue is not handled today, they can remove both boxes and restore my service as it was before. As of 11:44a.m. I still have the same issue. I'm including a picture of the pink screen for you to see. Since I've been UNABLE TO REACH A SUPERVISOR perhaps this review will get to the proper channels. read more

Horrible customer service. My grandmother used this service and after she passed away they have continued to charge her and refuse to cancel the service. I've called multiple times and they insist I need to come in person to cancel and show the death certificate. I live hundreds of miles away and the closest Suddenlink store is over 175 miles away. I've been fighting with multiple agents to get information on how I can submit the death certificate by fax/email/text/regular mail. But they keep insisting I have to show up in person. read more

When I was moving I called to cancel my service. I had been renting a box from them and so I asked what to do with the box. The representative told me that I could just get rid of it and I wouldn't be charged. I thought this was unusual, so I asked her if she was sure of this. She assured me that she was and that I wouldn't be charged. The next month a $100 bill shows up for the modem! I called them about this and have been fighting them on this for about 4 months now. The charge finally disappeared last month and now it has reappeared and they are attempting to charge me again. They refuse to allow me to speak to a supervisor and insist there is nothing they can do and that I have to pay this charge. This is FRAUD and no way to do good business! DO NOT count on a Suddenlink landline in a n emergency!!! We had the landline just to ensure our spotty internet would be fixed within a week, now they won't even offer that. Suddenlink is truly awful. Internet is not. working more often than it works. Goes out every 3 or 4 days, longest uninterrupted service I had was 11 days, then it was out for 9 days, still waiting on a tech. Super convenient 4 hour window! Plumbing,air conditioning and other companies can schedule within 1 hour. A few times after waiting 4 hours for service. The tech did a no call/no show. Office called wanting me to take another day off from work to wait and see if a tech would show up. I do installation work in the Tri-state area, about 80-100 homes per year. The majority are out of state, just moving into town. I will direct all my customers to find another internet service provider and give them the options that I have found. Amazon has complete TV series starting at $10. Compare that to the $170/month Suddenlink bill for spotty/slow/intermittent service. I keep there crappy service, at the lowest possible price, just to be able to honestly tell people how bad Suddenlink sucks. Service goes down, no problem, just go to my backup and report to new potential Suddenlink customer just how awful Suddenlink is. Make me wait 4 hours for a tech, no problem, I'll just catch up on my paperwork, and let the next potential Suddenlink customer about the crappy service they should expect.
