I'm paying for a hundred download I'm getting 45 at best unplugged my modem multiple times still no results I'm using a Google mesh router plugged into the back of the Suddenlink modem. Initially I was getting 70 to 80 now it's all over the place usually 45 to 35 and sometimes as low as 15. Where do I even start, this is got to be the worst wifi company on the face of the plant. We have had suddenlink for close to 4 years used to had dish but we stopped using cable and switched to fully using streaming services. When we first came to suddenlink our bill was only like $20-$50 give or take about 6 months in our bill skyrocketed to almost $200, when asking them why they said we owed money, which was bullshit, but than they said if we don't pay it the amount just grows so we payed it, thinking at least the bill will go down again, it went down $50 but were still paying $150 a month. The problem isnt even the expensive ass bill it the fact that we pay so much for wifi that NEVER works, ever. At least once a month we have no internet for a couple days, customer service is a joke, as someone who works in customer service it sad to see the lack of effort. Yesterday morning I woke up to no internet, customer service said they could turn back on our service, 6 hours later we call again cause we still have no internet, they tell us that there modem says our internet on, im standing looking at my tv that says no internet, they tell us it should take around an hour to turn back on we wait 3 hours at this point it like 4 in the afternoon were all irritated, they again tell us that their modem says our internet is on. Next morning, today, we wake up thinking, hoping, the internet would he back on yah noMy dad calls me to tell me there gonna come out and fix it, it been 2 hours sense he called me, still no one has came we still have no internet. They can send a service person out at a charge of $60., unless I purchase a service plan for $7. a month for 6 months. We have only had Suddenlink internet for 2 months, but the billing has never been right. When we put the internet on a season hold, for 6 months, we were told that there would be no charge. The next bill not only showed a charge but had a separate monthly bill for TV, which is paid by the Condo HOA for everyone. A dozen calls and speaking to many that I couldn't understand did not get the bill resolved. They refused to correct the bill and it took me hours to just cancel the service. Twice asking for a supervisor they transferred me to a number with this fast busy signal. It's still unclear what final bill they may send, but dealing with their billing department is a nightmare, at it's worse. read more

Dont know why they say Im in San Francisco I am in Laughlin NV a sales man came to my house claiming I could get 100 broadband internet. The first thing that happened is we were 80-100 near the modem. I told him the most important room was my business offiice and it gets 30 and cuts out. The salesman said I would get 100 Mbs and I get less than 30. I got my 1st bill which they claim I get 100 mbs was supposed to be $89 and is $ 140. WTF We have Centurylink which is 8mb service and works better than suddenlink as far as not cutting out. Still cant utilize my TV. streaming. CANT EVEN LOAD 1 MOVIE. Even to the point where we had to switch everything back to Centurylink. So I called the salesman Ed and he said call customer support. I sat on the phone for 2 hours and gave up. If I could give no stars I would. Our internet has been completely down for a while now so we called and they came out on Tuesday March 27th. The technician was so rude, impolite. Not telling us what he was doing, he straight up left without telling us, came back 30 min later proceeded to tell us it's hooked up wrong. Okay so fix it, that's your job right or am I wrong? Isn't that why we called? So he changed 1 wire. The internet was working for a few hours and bam! It's down again not working. We call again and they are supposed to be here between 12-2 today which is March 30th!!. My husband stayed home from work so he can make sure it actually gets fixed this time. 2 comes around, nothing so we call, they tell us nope sorry we can't tell you when the technician will be there but he will be there by 3:05pm. Okay, annoyed we hung up to wait another hour, 3:05 comes around and we call again because no technician! They had the nerve to tell us that we now have to wait until 5:20pm. They said there is no way for them to call the technician, I call bullshit! Okay so we wasted our entire day waiting for this guy to come and fix our damn internet just so I can do my online schooling worst customer service I've ever worked with! Paying $279/mo and nothing but trouble with television reception and WiFi goes out several times a week...call and call and call...on hold for several minutes. This has been going on for several years with over 10 technicians showing up, always different ideas and appointment times are several days out. Special sporting events seem to throw the cable off and it goes out right In the middle of the game or golf match. Bullhead City is at the mercy of this incompetent company and it never gets better. Do not use this company I have a one person salon, I do not have employees I do not use Internet for my business I have a phone which I barely use because most of my clients call me on my cell phone now I am being charged $200 a month. That is what these jokers charge me because they said that it's a business address which is bullshit because I just spoke to frontier and they are going to install my new Internet that I will be paying $44 a month for phone and Internet the highest speed. So today once again for the fourth time this year a tech came out, a new guy, and after looking at my system he told me that I don't even have Wi-Fi I've never had Wi-Fi so I would be able to use Wi-Fi but I would never it would never work properly it would cut out it would freeze up , I would never be able to stream , I didn't even have the right modem. Better yet when the guy called the office to tell them this, she said you need to let the customer know she's going to have to pay an extra $10 a month. WTF!!!!Never once did at anytime during one of those hour wait tech support calls did anyone tell me it was for hard line use only!! And why did it take a freakin year to figure that out. The guy today was great, but seriously? is that some crazy shit so they want me to pay $10 more so now I am supposed to pay $210 a month for Internet that I haven't even had all year long they don't want to refund my money they don't want to do nothing they just said you got to eat it. If I could give minus zero, I would. They were 2-1/2 hours late. Their advertised FREE install is NOT. They don't tell you that, they just add the charges later. When you call their line for other info the recording then lets you know they charged you for the install and it's due in 7 days! No bill, just a random unexplained charge. I'm really pushing it when I give then one star. My house in Fort Mohave hasn't had phone service since before last November. Each time I call for service they have sent three (3) different repair men out. Each time they say it has nothing to do with the my house. The new people across the street added Suddenlink and that's when the problem started. One repairmen after looking at the box at the street that in stead of running a new line they just cut into mine and split off to give them service. Since then my internet has been very slow and no phone. So much for their bundle. I've been paying their full boar price and only getting cable TV, slow internet and NO PHONE. The repairmen told me to go to the office. The problem is the office has been closed for about 5 months. Twice, Suddenlink overcharged me. After calling to get the amount changed, the Suddenlink employee agreed with me and told me not to pay the additional amount. I did as I was told. Then Suddenlink charged me a late fee on the overcharge. I called multiple times again and sat on hold multiple times. Finally I was told to go into a Suddenlink office as someone there could help me. I went and the office was closed-permanently! The next closest office was Kingman. I drove there and they looked up the bill and agreed there was a mistake that they didn't have the ability to fix my bill or remove the late fees. I was told that I should just pay the extra amount and the late fees and then try to get a refund. I was given a number to call. I finally paid it all so that the late fees would stop. I tried the new number, but was again told that they didn't have the ability to fix it. I decided to cancel my service. It took 7 phone calls and with each call I was put on hold. Six of those calls took me thru a litany of questions then told me I had the wrong department and gave me another number to call. Each person wanted to know why I was cancelling and then they would get defensive and rude and then give me another number to call. Twice they gave me the number for sales and after listening to my story tried to sell me a cell phone. The last time I called I told them I was moving to Oregon. Finally they allowed me to cancel. When I asked where the nearest office was to me that was open so I could return their equipment they said to go to their website and find out. So, I did. I learned they will charge me until the end of the month my regular bill and will continue to charge me a monthly fee until they get the equipment back, plus the cost of the equipment. I couldn't find an address to mail it to. I called the number listed for the Bullhead Office and the Kingman Office during business hours and just got music, not even a recording. I can't find out if the Kingman office is open without driving there. Suddenlink has the worst Customer Service I have ever encountered. I now have Tri-State Internet. Suddenlink just went up $20 to me with LACK of notice. I pay for the highest bundle package and I have the payment debited monthly. I noticed this month my bill was $20 higher, I called and they said my last months statement said my bill would be going up. Granted I don't read my online statements monthly, but after I hung up I looked up my last months invoice, it said your bill would be going up next month but didn't say how much? Is this even legal not saying what your new payment will be? This months statement says your payment went up and again doesn't state how much? I haven't been happy with Suddenlink anyways, I pay for the fastest wifi speed and its way too slow, I have called twice and talked to techs. Starts out better than goes slow again. If I could give 0 stars I would. I've been trying to disconnect my deceased mother's service for over a week. I live out of state. At first they told me to fax the death cert. Ok, done. After I received the next month's bill and was told service wasn't disconnected, they insisted I come in person with the death cert, even though I live out of state. Every time I call, it's a minimum 40 min wait and then they hang up on me. I've spent countless hours trying to resolve this issue. Ok, so now they've disconnected the service, but now they're billing me for the next months service which I don't even have!!! The internet constantly was out and customer service was even worse. We kept getting people that could barely speak English and when we finally got rid of them they billed us another month then sent it to collections after telling us we didn't owe them anything. They deserve ZERO stars! 2nd day of their service and it was down for 4 hours. I started keeping a log of everytime our internet disconnects. At least 12 times a day! Bought a better router, no change. Techs have been out twice in 3 weeks and refuse to rewire at the box or replace splitters. Waiting times for a tech appt is 4 to 5 days. This is unacceptable service. Because my internet isn't 100% completely down for more than a day, they refuse to credit my account. Talking to an agent on a crappy phone line from over seas is frustrating. They say they understand, but they don't. My connection never lasts more than 4 hours before it drops. Some days it drops as soon as it reconnects. If you are in BHC area, don't waste your time. Call Tri-State wifi. Very reasonable satellite internet. They come to your home and survey their signal from the towers before installation. They were honest with my friend across town and told them they wouldn't get a good signal. read more

Before anyone else makes the same mistake we did, do not go with Suddenlink as your internet/tv provider. I literally have had to call them over billing issues every month for the last four months. Their "offers" are not legitimate, (you are never getting that gift card) and if you want more channels then you are going to have an upgrade fee... so they charge you a fee to be able to charge you more every month. Makes sense, if you are a scam artist. My bill is double what it was and I get to listen to an annoying static sound any time we change the channel or a commercial comes on. Watch your bill, am frequently overcharged and after spending hours on the phone with them they say my bill will be credited next month but it never is.
