I came for the convenience, but I've been blown away by the standard of care. Unlike some places where you don't get much attention, just a bunch of "do this, now do that" -- here the focus was on me with LOTS of hands-on tailored to my needs with expertise as well as compassion. All the staff are friendly, professional and helpful too -- Kristy the other regular therapist and Julie on reception. The staff here work really hard to get you better, I've had more sessions than I care to count -- making progress, I should add! -- and I've watched them working with other patients, not just me. Everyone gets a fantastic level of input. The mood is light, the intention is serious - to get you back to full functioning again! The therapists give you so much of their own effort & energy, alongside your own, honestly I wonder how they can keep it up. But they do! Oh of course the facility is clean and bright, very well-equipped -- and prompt, friendly driver Diane is available to take you if you can't get there under your own steam. She juggles 2 patients at the same time providing limited attention to each person in need of 1 on 1 therapy to improve their condition. Furthermore, she has you repeat exercises even if they cause you more pain! In addition, Tina acts like a know it all and seems very disinterested in what you have to say. This Includes your ideas on how to feel better such as her prescribing additional exercises you can do at home to further along the healing process which she refuses to do until she decides such. In conclusion, I would not recommend Tina to anyone in need of a hand/occupational therapist and would suggest they go elsewhere.
