This is a horrible company. They have no customer service and trying to cancel service is a hoax

I have had several experiences with this company that never had ended well Recently my sister called and asked if I'd help her with her bill she was being charged anywhere from $195 a month to $340 a month she couldnt understand why he bill was so much She purchased a lower package the one that had unlimited internet 200 package she thought that it meant it was unlimited she didnt understand it was unlimited to a certain amount However she had also bought a debut card at the store to pay her bill on a prepaid and they first time she used it they billed the card but didnt give her credit for her bill so she had to call the card company to get proof that she had paid the bill in the meantime while she was waiting to get the proof her service was cut off so she ended up paying almost $400 to get her service turned back on and she asked them why her bill was so high the representative Suddenlink didn't bother to tell her that it was where she was going over the amount of internet so this went on several minutes her paying three and four hundred dollar bills a month she couldn't even get the bill straightened up the amount that she had already paid they took off the card They still hadn't given credit for it so when she called me I went back and got all her bills and looked at them I seen that the data cap coverage was why he bill was so high she said that she already had her package raised up that she finally figured out why it was so high but as I went back and through the Beatles I noticed that they were charged for internet on the 11th and 18th this was on November's bill and then it was charged again on January still that said the 10th 22nd through the 11th and 22ndt data over charges when I called Suddenlink about it and try to explain it took me almost an hour to get through to the first representative and she said she would have a supervisor call me back 1 to 4 hours and talk to me about it that I was right she had been billed to different times so it went on a week never did hear nothing back so I called him again this time I talked to a guy that didn't even understand English and he just kept repeating your building month ahead that's why it's on their your build a month ahead I told him I said even a preschooler would understand that she's been charged twice the first bill in November States the charges only the date 11/18 appears then on January bill it says for data over charges 10/22-11/22 he refuses to let me speak with a supervisor he says it's been put in that I will receive the call when they get time I said I was told it would take one to four hours did I spend two to three weeks ago and he was rude and just kept repeating we Bill a month ahead I said if that's true why are they charges from October on January Bill he said we had to make sure she went over on the data I said well she was billed if that was the case she was billed in November for day a over charge $60 how would they company even know she want over shouldn't that be in December bill On no way should charges be in January's bill from October I said how do you explain that many months apart and I said the Leyva that 18th falls through the service that build again in January I said the service is from the 22nd to the 22nd of the next month and I said anybody would understand that the 18th is in between those dates I said now you're trying to tell me that she's not double charged you still continue to argue finally I got mad I said I want to talk to your supervisor now that's impossible he just kept telling me no we can't do that we can't do that he said I have got you down for a call from the supervisor and that's been almost a month ago we still haven't heard anything Its impossible to even talk to someone that speaks and understands English this company is Bill's what they want a bill and you either pay it or get cut off because they know they're the only company in these rural areas that we have to pay or not have service Bit people need to come together and left this company knows they cant get by with this This company has been doing this for years How can they get by with Billing what ever they want my service is supposed be $75 a month sometimes its $80 sometimes Its $90 Seems like each month its different I'm sorry a company knows what a customers bill should be at shouldn't ho up or down when the wind blows not to mention sometimes u cant even searched anything its so slow We pay for a certain speed which is hardly ever what we get I dont understand how they FCC hasnt cracked down on this company Its clearly not doing there customers fair I cant understand how a monthly bills varies tgat much I liked to know who we need to contact to get something done This company is clearly crook's ! How do they get by with having customer representatives that dont understand English tgat should be a law if a company operates in the usa the customers representatives should have to speak and understands English who do we need to contact? read more

Suddenlink is a 0 out of 10. saying i didnt return a cable box to this store when i did. thieves! any one know the local store number?? impossible to get, i have been trying!!! read more

I would give negative stars if possible. The absolute worse service EVER. Random outages atleast twice a week and there is absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! Wouldn't recommend signing up for service to ANYONE! read more

It's horrible that Suddenlink is not reliable. The speeds you are supposed to be getting are never what you actually get. Now, they are saying they are giving customers a FREE upgrade to the speed BUT what they are doing is slipping in a data cap on how much bandwidth you can use. It's not right. read more

Okay I don't know how it is in other places but where I am at it SUCKS. let me explain to you the issue. They have a monopoly over this area and I honestly don't think they care if you get the service you pay for because they don't have any strong competitors when it comes to wireless internet. For months now I have had terrible internet. First they said it was my router so I bought a new router from their company which has this annoying password that I can't change to what I want for "their security" which I don't get because it's my house and supposed to be my WiFi. So all that bothersome aside new router should have meant my internet not cutting out every 5 minutes right? Wrong. Turns out it wasn't my router at all (great my router was expensive) it was their lines... So they sent someone out to "fix" it only that never really happened. When it did finally happen, the internet was still slow laggy and cutting out... We were paying for 15mbps and getting like .1 kbs. When we called this time they said "Maybe too many people are on your Wifi for the speed package you have" hmmm.... well I doubt 5 people would slow a "15mbps" connection but what the hell we bought the highest package paying out $75/month for JUST INTERNET and guess what it's just as shitty a connection as EVER! Suddenlink is a terrible service and they need a GREAT competitor! read more
