But when I saw the provider I felt completely uncomfortable and like I was not being listened to what so ever. I was trying to explain that I was sent here in order to be able to schedule a laparoscopy and he asked me for a general history of why I believe I have endometriosis. I explained my situation of constant pain over the past 10 years of having my menstrual but also explaining the past four have had worse pain accompanied by stomach problems and other emotional and physical problems. He asked if I had depression or anxiety and I said yes to both. He asked if I had weight gain or weight loss and I stated yes to both as well. He stated he believes I don't have endometriosis and just have a mood disorder that I need to have treated. I have been in extreme pain, done the MRI and ultrasound and all of the other tests necessary just to be told I have a mood disorder? When something was found in the MRI that made my OBGYN believe I need to have a laparoscopy done??? I felt completely disrespected as a patient and I do not wish to have a laparoscopy done with a provider that just wants to do the exam to "check that off the list" just so he can tell me he saw nothing and that this pain and all these symptoms I have are just in my head. I have had providers who don't listen to me and ignored my symptoms in the past, but this truly takes the cake for me.

I was pregnant, she had been my OBGYN for years prior- maybe because I was on state insurance she treated me less than? I'm honestly not sure. I went in for a 9 week appointment- it was my first visit while pregnant. I waited for hours, I finally got into a room and saw her for a total of 7 minutes. She saw there was no fetus in the womb... it was blank in the ultrasound. I advised of certain symptoms I was experiencing that I had been told were common with those experiencing Ectopic Pregnancy. She didn't do further scanning and instead referred me for bloodwork to test HCG levels. I reiterated my concern for ectopic. And she brushed me off, she literally "shushed" me. I went immediately for the bloodwork. After a week and a half of not hearing from her regarding results and calling with no response. I was rushed to the emergency room due to severe internal bleeding and emergency surgery due to ectopic pregnancy. I was on the verge of actual death. After multiple blood transfusions and the removal of one of my tubes, I survived. Because of her negligence and lack of care or due diligence I lost part of myself. I have not been able to become successfully pregnant since this experience. I also paid to get my medical records and I specifically asked for the records of the pregnancy and the ultrasound from my appointment when I came in and THEY REFUSED TO INCLUDE THEM. THEY SAID ID NEED A LAWYER TO GET THEM BECAUSE "THEY HAD NO RECORD" ID EVER BEEN IN FOR A PREGNANCY Disgusting. I don't recommend her to anyone. She should lose her practice and her license. Part of me wishes I died so lawyers would take my case and serve her with justice.

You book the appointment for one thing & the provider doesn't even focus on what your chief complaint was. Basura!
