Every time the experience is very therapeutic, followed by a sense of relaxation and serenity. Todd, the co-owner, and his assistant, Steven, went the extra mile for our body massage. Both my husband and I had some tight shoulders and I had some lower back sciatic nerve pain, and Todd maneuvered the tightness with precision. My husband said that Steven kneaded him like clay, but in a very good way. The customer service is very good and considerate. I've had the experience and, after reading other reviews, I've read that some had the same experience in which the busy owner stepped out and Steven was the only one at the front desk. It is advised to have some patience because Steven speaks Mandarin and uses a translator app on his phone. Occasionally, they are short staffed and Todd needs to step out, and he also has another location (I believe in Lawrence). I came in once with a Groupon coupon and it was a bit jarring and confusing not knowing what was going on because Steven didn't say anything to me but depended on the app. All was well explained after speaking with the owner. The place is very serene, comfortable and with good relaxing music. The rates are also reasonable for the care given.

As a nurse, I have a lot of back pain and stiffness from manually moving patients around as well as computer work. He always starts off the session by asking if you have any specific areas of concerns or have begun any new medications or sustained any recent injuries to make sure a massage is safe for you at that time. I ask a TON of questions about why a specific area is causing me trouble and he always provides a thorough explanation about the muscle connections/insertion sites, etc., as well as recommendations for stretches that can help alleviate those trouble areas beyond your session. When I rose up from the table and asked her to stop and leave the room, all she could say was "U mad at me?"....OMG. I couldn't get dressed and get out fast enough. I have lost hundreds of dollars from erroneous charges on my credit card. I have been in touch with them. They claim it was a computer glitch and I will get my money back, but it's been almost a year of wrangling and I have not seen my money. I get lots of excuses but they never repayed me. I have found others victims who also had erroneous charges on their credit cards. The other victims also said WishKC also claimed a computer glitch and promised to pay it back but did not refund their money. The victim had to have it reversed by her credit card. But they got the same excuses that I got. "Out of town, I was ill, I was on the reservation, had to go to a funeral." WishKC requested I send them a cash-app request for the money so they can refund. I sent the cash-app request. They didn't pay it. Going on a year of trying to get my money back. No luck. The masseuse and her boyfriend are creepy which is just my opinion.
