I got a 90 minute combo which was 1 hour foot and 30 minute body. Since I always get the foot reflexology I knew what to expect with that and it was mediocre they normally do you arms but she skipped that and didn't do my feet very much. On the body massage I was highly upset about. She used a electric massage for the majority of the massage. I didn't say anything but was appalled that a masseuse would do this. I can get this at home. So when it was all done and I was paying she asked what my to is so she could add it. My bill was 100. and I was not happy so I was going to give a 15% tip. Oh no, she said no showed me a piece of paper that said good$30 very good $40 and best $50. WTF. I asked if I have tip this amount she said yes that I needed to pick one. I said you this that you are making me to a specific amount she said yes. I wasnt arguing at that point and just said 30 which I wish I hadn't because she rolled her eyes at me for tipping 30% WTF...I was a long standing customer and will never be back because of this.

As most people know, you have to pay before the service, and tipping is supposed to be optional afterward. To my surprise, Mona, the masseuse, forced me to give a $20 tip each--one for her and one for my father-in-law's masseuse! She told me they only get paid through tips. I initially wrote in a $20 tip for both of them, but she printed out a new receipt and made me rewrite the tip amount that she insisted on. Very nice bathrobe and sandals to put on and then you go into a waiting room. Very calm and serene. A couple of different flavored waters to choose from and snacks if you're so inclined. Waited in there about 10 mins (you can bring your phone but come on people - you're here to relax. Put the flipping thing in the locker. You can disconnect for an hour). My masseuse came and collected me and ushered me to a nice quiet room. She listened to what I wanted her to do and left me to get under the sheets. The room was nice and warm and I was never cold. The massage was WONDERFUL. I needed a deep tissue and she delivered. Within 2 days my shoulder and neck were worlds better. After the massage they take you back to the bathroom. I super appreciate that there is a shower. The only downside of massage is having that oil all over you and getting dressed again. Loved the shower - very clean and great towels. The General Manager would not honor the gift certificate because it was purchased 15 months ago and she stated gift certificates expire 12 months after purchase. However, there is NO EXPIRATION DATE disclosed on the Gift Certificate or disclosed on company website. When I explained this to the General Manager she became defensive and abruptly ended the call. Federal Law provides rules for gift certificate expirations. The Credit Card Accountability and Disclosure Act of 2009 mandates that gift certificates cannot expire in less than five years from the date of issuance. The Federal rule requires that any expiration terms must be clearly disclosed to the consumer. If a gift certificates does not display an expiration date, it is considered valid indefinitely. CONSUMER BEWARE! The General Manager at this location clearly does not use good business practice and the Owners need to be made aware.

My therapist (Leena) did a fantastic job-I fell asleep about 15 min into the massage. I went to a foot reflexology place in Leawood the prior week and thought this place was much better. I would highly recommend this place to friends, neighbors, and family! The only downside is you have to have an appointment; you can't just walk in like some of the other places.
