My dentist took X-rays in June and September and he couldn't see anything. I was not in pain but the tooth just had a weird sensation. My dentist explained that Dr. Ginzler had a microscope and a certain X-ray that was not available in my very well equipped and modern dental office. Uh-Oh. This can't be good, I though to myself. I had a consult with Dr. Ginzler, and he brought me into a room to view the X-rays. He explained what had happened, which matched up exactly with what I had experienced. He showed me my X-ray and another X-ray for comparison. He makes sure you understand everything. He's very patient and speaks with a soothing demeanor. It was reassuring. Nobody is without anxiety about having a root canal. He understands this. Anyway, to wrap up: had the consult on 10-9, had the root canal on 10-12. Absolutely zero pain. None. Not during and not after. That night I couldn't even tell I'd had anything done. He is a really cool guy and an expert at his craft. His office staff was "on it" every step of the way. Pleasant, efficient and didn't need anything from me except my insurance card. They 100% handled everything which is always appreciated. I hate having to deal with my insurance company on my own, and I didn't. First Class all the way. Can't say enough good things. Not one negative.

But this had to be the best experience I've ever had with a dentist/ endodontist! My regular dentist referred me to Dr. Weiner for a potential root canal. I had this procedure done by him 7 years ago at his office near the Hollywood area. He has since moved to the Plantation area which is very close to where I live = convenient. My tooth pain began while I was traveling in Seattle and I was worried that the pain wouldn't allow me to get back to do it here, but I'm so glad I was able to. I called the office as soon as my dentist diagnosed it as a root canal. Cathy, the office manager, was very kind even though it was close to 5 p.m. - closing time, to contact my insurance company to see if I would be covered, which luckily I was. And she was able to get me in the following morning. These days you rarely get customer service like this! She was really awesome! Entering the office you get a warm comfortable feeling with the decor, ambiance and friendliness of the staff. There's even candles in the waiting room and the bathroom to give you that calming feeling. The exam room is almost like first class on an airplane! There's a TV, they provide a headset in case you don't have one to connect your phone to listen to music or what have you. There's even a blanket if you're too cold with the air conditioning. A fluffy pillow to put under your neck which most dentist chairs don't have. And because I have a back issue, Melissa the assistant, even gave me a small pillow for support and ice packs. I was so comfortable I almost fell asleep! Dr. Weiner was excellent in discussing the procedure, asking questions and is very detail oriented which I totally appreciate! I really didn't experience much pain which is unusual for a root canal! The procedure was pretty quick and afterwards I even got a care package with a bottle of water, instructions from the doctor and an ice pack. The overall experience was wonderful and it was great to see Dr Weiner again after 7 years - which he called it... The Seven Year Itch! LOL I highly recommend Dr Weiner and his team for any Endodontal issues!!

If I could, I would rate this so call specialist a zero stars. I started with pain in my back wisdom tooth Thursday August 31, 2017. Friday morning I called my regular dentist's office. I saw the Dr. and he said I need a root canal but he couldn't do it. He gave me antibiotics and referred me to a root canal specialist Dr. James Sainsbury in Tamarac. I had so much pain during the weekend and the antibiotic were not working. I had terrible headaches, swelling around my throat, pain in my left ear and I couldn't swallow. I made an appointment for that morning Tuesday September 5, 2017 to see Dr. James Sainsbury. They took X-rays and the Dr. came in and gave me an evaluation he said I needed a root canal and I said ok. He said I have to wait for the insurance approval the receptionist came back and mentioned that the Dr. will not do the root canal, I ask why she said the insurance will only pay $375 and the Dr. will not accept that amount. He wants $1400 because the procedure is too complicated. The office manager came out to explain why the insurance won't pay more than $375 but she told us to pay the whole amount now and after when she summits the forms to the insurance we would get reimburse for $795. My husband and I agree to pay the $1400 and everything was set. Then the receptionist comes out and said the Dr. said he won't do it, we ask why she had no explination for us, we asked again and she refuse to give us an explanation so we left. We told the receptionist what kind of specialist is he backing out of procedure. Never have I ever experience such unprofessional work from a dentist, awful would not recommend him at all. It's always about money. I went back to my dentist for a stronger prescription. Now because of the hurricane coming I have to wait until next week to have a root canal.

At about 17 years old I broke up a gang of 5 teens beating on 1 but did not see a 6th one behind me…read morewho hit me in the face with a bat. I was taken to hospital and learned that a female doctor on her lunch break saved me from choking. It was my teeth. Throughout my 71 years I have had dentures 3 times. 2 times in NYC and once here in South Florida. None of them were good. Either too big, causing a perpetual smile or didn't fit comfortably and irritated me in some way even after adjustments were made still a problem. All of the bottom dentures I had were worse than the top so each time if I knew I would take a photo or had an important event to attend I would only wear the top denture. I never ate food with them and always had to sneakily take them out in a napkin (hoping no one would notice) and place them in my pocket. My family always said they look too big. So I became self conscious about wearing them and when it was unavoidable I kept my mouth closed. So now at 71 ( 72 in 2 weeks) at the insistence of my daughter who wanted me to try one more time I went to Friedman Dental in Tamarac. I was assigned to Dr Morales. Young, attractive, very pleasant, gentle and I can see in her eyes, very caring but again, 4th try. Well she took all the measurements ( more than the others did) I was concerned it was taking much longer than I experienced prior and measurements the others never did. My skepticism was slowly diminishing on each visit. When all was done she came in with a line of teeth that had different shades of white and asked me to pick one of them. My daughter often told me my other dentures were too white and was a dead giveaway along with the size and "none" of the others I went to even offered a shade choice. I didn't know it was an option. Dr Morales's teeth were perfect like my daughter's is so I was having trouble picking out the shade. Dr Morales gave me her recommendation and I figured she's a woman so I trusted her. The first time I actually felt trust. She explained it would probably take 4-5 visits with creating the plates, first in wax, then in the acrylic and then the final. That was 4 visits. Well once I tried on the wax set Dr Morales genuinely raved about how good they looked so I FaceTimed my sister and then my daughter and asked them what they thought. They were ecstatic!!! I picked up the final set today and when she placed them in my mouth they were very comfortable. Not like the others were like I said had numerous adjustments that never worked. I wore my dentures both top and bottom all day today and plan to wear them each and everyday whether I go out or just stay home. Dr Morales is fantastic! I never leave reviews on anything but I have to let all who read this know about a dentist who really cares, is gentle, and such a professional she deserves a giant thank you for bringing to me a smile I have not had in almost 55 years. You rock Dr Morales and God Bless you for making the later years of my life more presentable!!
