I want to begin this review by stating that I am a very nervous patient. To make matters worse I…read morewas referred here for an extraction of a bad tooth. At my initial consultation , I did decide to have a dental implant placed. Kim in the business office was extremely helpful in examining my insurance and letting me know what the cost would be at the time of the procedure. Today was the date for my procedure. I was greeted promptly and signed necessary forms. Emily and Meredith took me to the procedure room where they hooked me up to various monitors since I was going to have sedation for the extraction. My doctor is Kim Pansegrau, DDS,MD and he provided me with IV sedation. Within seconds he proceeded with the procedure and I have zero recollection of any of the mechanics of the work. And when done, unhooked me from the monitors and put me in a wheelchair and took me to the recovery area, where I spent about fifteen to twenty minutes. Mason checked my vitals and when I was ready to go , explained the medications I needed to take and the precautions I needed to use. When ready he put me in a wheelchair and rolled me outside to the car where my wife was waiting to take me home. The whole experience was very efficient and in my mind flawless. I had zero discomfort and quickly resumed ability to walk and eat since the anesthesia was not so overwhelming. I am so thankful to the doctor and his very able assistants. Not only is this doctor highly recommended but the whole office staff made the experience which I was so nervous about a very benign affair. Kudos to the staff at the Center of Oral and Maxillary Surgery.

For years I was a dental phobic and really struggled with dread and fear whenever I went to a dentist. Then I found Baxter Dental through the recommendation of a friend. From that first appointment onward I got a bit more at ease every time I went there. After about 2 years I came to realize that I was not going to get hurt there, that everything was explained in detail before any procedures were conducted, and that my concerns would be addressed at every turn. Employees remember me, ask about my family, and my job. I realize that many things are recorded on my chart but they take the time to look up the smallest details like a particularly sensitive tooth etc. and make sure that it is numbed as needed for my comfort.
