A filling I got at the Brite dental in berwyn kept falling out to the point they said I needed a root canal but yet kept getting denied for the root canal because I didn't actually need one. Than I come here doctor fills it in and it's been months and hasn't fallen out or nothing the other place will only last days literally! This doctor knows what he is doing and has been doing it for years and years experience is a must and he definitely has it!

I was there several years ago, at that time he told me I needed to get a root canal on that same tooth or to have the tooth pulled. I made an appointment to get the tooth pulled. At that time the female Dentist asked me why I was having it pulled. I explained to her Dentist told me I had no choice. She told me she could save it and she did. It's been at least six years and I've had no pain. The only problem I have with it at this point is that the crown came loose. But he wasn't happy that the other dentist was able to save my tooth. He wants me to have the root canal at any cost . He also refused to fill the cavity that was next to it until I had this root canal completed, and he saidwould refer a surgeon to me. I expressed to him that I didn't have the money at this time. I asked him again politely to just glue in the crown so I can but a little time until I could save the money for a root canal and which he told me we'd be around $1500 or to have the tooth pulled but that would cost about $3500 because then I would have to have a bridge made fill in the gap of the missing tooth. Again, I explained to him that I live on disability, and I didn't have the money for this at the time and I would have to save up for it unless the surgeon would take payments. Again, he refused cement in the cap or fill the cavity. Then he refused to give me the referral for the surgeon because I didn't have the money he then told me since you can't afford it anyway he would not give me a referral for the surgeons. He cared very little about the health of my teeth. His only concern was this root canal. I'm betting he gets a kickback for all of his referrals otherwise he might have been more accommodating. He's a cranky old man who cares little about his patients and more about the money. He's knows my insurance won't cover it and was unwilling to help me buy a little time to save money for a procedure that I honestly don't believe I need done immediately or at all, There is no pain coming from the tooth or any other immediate need to have the procedure done. All I needed was a Little time to save for the procedure and he absolutely refused to help he wants me to have future damage to the toothache and be in pain just to prove his point!!!I won't ever go back to him or recommend any else to go to him.

I said OMG thats double was what my dentist told me but I said fine with a down payment of $1885! So they do the surgery that took all of 20 mins and sent me on my way in even more pain but with a bunch of meds that helped a lot but I'm still in pain today and this was over 6 months ago. So about a couples weeks after the surgery I get a notice of a bill for almost 2K!!!! And I said oh now this has to be wrong and was told no its correct my total bill was just under 4k! I said no I was told it would be under 3k total for everything and that was before what the insurance took out and they responded and called me a liar and stated they told me the ESTIMATED cost would be $3771.41!!! So you telling me you told me before you even looked at my tooth that the total would be $3771.41 thats really amazing that you had that number down to the cents! Wow! This is false!!! And not they are holding my tooth hostage so I can't get my crown and also I'm still in pain and they won't do anything to help until I pay the balance! I told them up front that they should use my hand because people have issues giving me injections through my arm. They proceeded to stick me in both arms multiple times before resorting to using my hand like I told them. The doctor was condescending about me not bringing my inhaler, which I was never told to bring with me over the phone. After the extraction, I had an extreme amount of swelling and was never scheduled for a follow up appointment. I started having severe pain in the following week, for which the painkillers I was given (Tylenol 3) were not working. In the second week of healing, I called and explained that I was having severe pain and wanted to speak to the surgeon over the phone because I could not afford to keep taking days off work. I was told I would not be allowed to speak to her and would be required to come in. I was then told I could not be scheduled until the next week, despite my pain (it was giving me migraines and I couldn't sleep more than 2 to 3 hours a night). The front desk woman did not care in the slightest. I was on the verge of tears on the call because it truly was that serious and she acted like I was inconveniencing her by explaining my experience. When I made it into the office finally, Dr. Malaki looked at me, told me the socket was healing well, I was having this reaction because I'm a woman and my hormones can mess with the healing, and that I should have just called and spoke to her over the phone if that was more convenient than coming in. In summary, don't go here. My partner got an extraction of THREE TEETH compared to my one tooth and had nowhere near as much swelling or pain. They distinctly ruined my ability to have faith in dental professionals and if I thought I had grounds to sue, I would.

Dr. G, the receptionist Sharell, and the other staff make me feel so welcome and taken care of!!! I found them during a dental emergency and they took me as soon as they opened! Same day. I was so relieved because the pain I was in, my funeral was being planned in my head. :( Dr.G went over my X rays with me in a way that I could understand and answered my questions without making me feel like an imbecile. Sharell walked me through my treatment plan, my insurance coverage and my out of pocket cost. She even arranged something's around based on priority and prices to work with in my budget frame. Even the office is so cute and welcoming! I think it's so awesome that while I wait and am getting work done I can watch a movie on a mounted tv to bide my time.
