All I can say is if it's your dog's first time interacting with other dogs, start them in the small dog areas. Or if you're going to make a big deal about your puppy losing its' tooth, don't bring them to the dog park... I'm pretty sure they can't start interacting with dogs until 6 months due to not being fully vaccinated anyways.

This morning we woke up to a lightning storm in the canyon. I went to my balcony to take a look and there was smoke coming from the ridge. We went back inside and I decided to take a shit. Out of the 840 California coastline miles, Laguna Beach only boasts about 7 miles of it...but what a beautiful & scenic drive!!! Hubby & I love driving through this city filled with stunning, resplendent views, quaint boutique shops, wonderful restaurants (with fetching menus) & cafes, charming little hotels, exquisite galleries, etc. There are plenty of parks that fit & line Laguna Beach: Laguna Main Beach, Crescent Bay Point, Heisler, Treasure Island, Picnic Beach, and of course, Crystal Cove- which is a State Park with paid parking. Due to its picturesque quality, parking is at a premium at this city, come early or suffer the consequences (mostly metered parking on public streets). Our favorite places to visit here is Jedediah Coffee, Urth Caffe & the Number 3 restaurant (which is temporarily closed until April 2025). I would love to explore Crystal Cove again & hopefully stay at their renovated cottages (you have to reserve in advance), pricing ranges from $228-320/night, max. 7 nights annually). Living in California can be such a blessing.... and pricey! But sightseeing is FREE (except for the gas!). Visit Laguna Beach, explore, enjoy!

But if you don't have access, there are three computers available after you walk through the waiting area that you can use. I went in the afternoon during the week and it was incredibly quick; hardly anyone waiting. They accept cash or credit card, and you can always ask ahead if they take personal checks, money orders, or cashier's checks. If you call with questions beforehand, the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They record everything right there in the office, and the whole process was smooth and efficient.

My only complaint (as silly as it is), is their Facebook page. It's not engaging with others. It's cold and not welcoming. I also follow the Huntington Beach PD on my facebook, and there is such a huge difference in the way they (HB) interacts with their neighborhood (via facebook). I really think Newport Beach, needs to take a page from HB. To become neighborhood friendly and not so standoff'ish, this would only benefit the department and our beautiful city.
