KUDOS , thank you so much to Elizabeth for providing supreme quality customer service at the library on Della Drive in Dr. Phillips! She is friendly and professional! I love her smile!

Free library classes! I stumbled upon the library having free tech classes by accident but they have everything you can imagine - sewing, camera, self improvement, etc. Today I took Excel level 3 & 4 at the Southwest Library. My teacher was Rebecca. I've had her several times - she's great every time - every class. I've traveled to Winter Garden for PhotoShop, Washington Park, & a few others. I have classes scheduled every week until almost the end of the year. Can't wait to see what they will release next year!

We ALWAYS do early voting here, and not only do they offer tons of computer classes, Yoga and meditation for adults! Books, CD's, DVD's and oodles of great programs for kiddos! They also have Trivia contests on Monday nights for adults as well as "Stress Buster Coloring" and "Story Time" for us big kids, too. The folks who work her are so positive, helpful and friendly! I LOVE my Library

Line looks mega huge, but it's a rapid mover. 30 minutes total from start to voting completion.

This is a great library in orange county. It also is now serving as an early voting center. The line was Jane Normas, but we were in and out in 30 minutes. Great experience and very organized. The overflow parking for this voting location is at Stein Mart across the street. However, just wait for somebody to pull out as voters are coming and going constantly. You can also drop off your absentee ballot, just pull up toward the end. You must get out of your car and drop it off directly versus handing it to someone from the car. Just make sure it is signed on the outside where required.

Love this location as it is the same one that I came to as a kid. They have computers in the back that are free to use unless you have to print something then it's 10 cents a page. They also have another room in the back for classes. Upfront they have a kiddie area with all their books, then next to it they have all kinds of dvds. They will have events for kids and adults make sure you check the calendar for the free events some are classes some are puppet shows. They also sell used books and dvds. For the most part everyone is nice

September is library card sign up month!

My favorite of all branches, and trust me I've been to them all! I love the classes they have, my daughter did a 3D design class- how cool! Love the kids area and the Dewey decimal scavenger hunt! I even got free solar eclipse glasses... AWESOME!

Ready Every Day! Knowledge is power!! Library is a great place to explore, read and learn. You can find interested books, magazines, novels, children books, computers lessons, CD and DVD etc..here. We love to come and visit the Southwest Branch library by Dr Phillip area with our children. The library staffs are very friendly and knowledgeable here. We like to visit here weekly to let our children learn new things and play computer games. They have great books for sale with very low price. Sometimes you might find the book you like and own it yourself. Today my daughter forgot and left her jacket at the library, we called back later and we were very thankful that staff found it and kept it at the front desk. We are very appreciated they found my daughter's jacket. Highly recommend you and your family to visit this great library!

Did I read all the books? No, but as a 7-year-old who hardly went out anywhere, that place was paradise. That's why the public library system is such a valuable asset; especially where children are involved. It keeps them out of trouble and in a place where they can actually learn something. Fast forward to many years later and my heart still skips a beat whenever I enter a Library. This Library in particular is small when compared to other libraries in central Florida, but it's also one of the newer ones so it's clean, well kept, and has a Lab room, but also a Technology room should you sign up for one of their courses. Which by the way is completely free. I try to take advantage of that when I can, just the other day I took a: "How to make a book charm class", and it was a delightful experience. I've seen that you can even learn how to program video games if you wish to go down that avenue, or if you wanted to, you could sign up to become familiar with various computer programs, even how to build a web-site, all free, why would you not take advantage of that? Other than books, you are able to check out DVD's and movies here as well. The staff is super friendly here, definitely will be back.

Fortunately, I was able to evacuate and found a FANTASTIC spot in the courtyard that was not only comfortable, but there were power outlets within reach. Laptopping from outside? Bonus! This is a large library with lots of space. There several different quiet areas though none that were "okay to talk" areas. Lots and lots of books of all sorts, plenty of parking and many comfortable spaces. If you're a train fan, the Amtrak rail goes right past. Fun to watch the train going through here. Initially, I went over to use the computer systems to print a few documents and to scan and email a few documents. It was easy to access the computers and get everything completed. There is a small quite study area tucked away in the back. I was able to easily connect to the internet and get a few things accomplished. On another visit, I returned with a group, and we used the meeting room up from. The group had to set up and put up the tables and chairs - it was easy to do and there was plenty of equipment for our needs. Overall, I like this little library. I'm glad that it is here.

It is good seeing that libraries are still a thing, especially since we have sp much available through our phones and the internet.
