Even their library cards feature pictures of butterflies. Friendly staff are quick to help you find what you need. Classes are available for local residents. And self-checkouts are available, as well as access to public computers. I am a committed bibliophile and thrilled the Mount Dora Library is here to support my reading adventures.

Signing up online was easy peasy and parking is plentiful. The location is a bit hidden so you'll have to navigate with gps or carefully watch signs. Three branch was clean, well organized and had some good offerings in stock. We grabbed an audio book for my sister after our class ended. The crafting class was excellent. The instructor was welcoming and friendly. We learned how to make bowls with craft paper, balloons and glue. It was a fun social experience, and who doesn't love learning something new?? Upon arriving, there was parking all around the building. After I parked, I noticed there was a round about to walk around outside and a couple spots by the ponds to read! I went inside the library, and it was very organized. Spots around downstairs and upstairs to study or read. There were private rooms for rent. For the most part, I was able to read and concentrate. However, towards the end, there were kids upstairs that were being loud and I couldn't concentrate anymore. I didn't know this library was different than the Orange County library. I thought it was the same, but thankfully, getting a new library card was simple. I found the 2 books I was looking for! There's book returns both inside and outside of the library! My favorite thing about this spot is the architecture outside!

He mentioned he hasn't been there recently, so there may be a different moderator at times. Mr. Bill was engaging, funny, and did a great job encouraging parents to actively participate alongside their children. My girls especially loved the puppets he used!
