I have been to Dr. Kolodenker before and received excellent patient care. Now on the advice of a friend who is a surgical nurse, who knows someone who has worked in surgery with Dr. K, and said he was an excellent surgeon, I went to Dr. K for advice about surgery. He was extremely thorough and looked carefully at the x-rays, the MRI, and formed his own opinion. I did not feel like simply a number, I felt that he truly cared about me. I can't for the life of me, understand how this operation receives such high reviews. I have now visited three times and can tell you that the customer service is a one star. They do not answer phones and expect somehow that you're going to be able to get all the communication you need through online service. That doesn't work when you're dealing with medical issues. The actual medical advice is three stars. Honestly, that might be generous, but trying to be fair here. I went in for my plantar fasciitis appointment and was handed a piece of paper with three exercises. That's considered medical attention? By the way, it wasn't effective. I could've gotten the same advice going on the Internet. I know that because I did and actually found better advice which has helped me more than this place. I'm taking my business elsewhere. And yes doctor, you are running a business and need to be more conscientious about customer service if you want to retain clients. read more

I was a new patient at Orange County Podiatry. The office experience was outstanding. Starting with the very friendly receptionist and ending with the care. Dr. Solar was excellent. She cares about her patients and you could see it. She explained everything in understandable words and asked the right questions to get a better understanding of the history of the illness. I just recently had a bad experience where the doctor just did his job and didn't seem to care much about the patient and this set back my condition a lot. I had to see another doctor to fix it. I visited Dr. Michael Coyer at Orange County Podiatry (Irvine) for an ongoing issue with an ingrown toenail on the middle toe of my left foot. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the care I received. Despite multiple visits over an extended period, the team failed to properly diagnose the root cause of my pain. No X‑ray or deeper diagnostic evaluation was performed. I was repeatedly told it was simply excess skin growth and that there was no ingrown nail issue, and I was sent home each time. As a result, I continued to live with significant pain for nearly two years. I ultimately decided to seek a second opinion and am very glad I did. Dr. Thomas Rambacher at Podiatry Hotline - Foot and Ankle took the time to thoroughly understand my symptoms. A simple X‑ray immediately revealed that I had a bone spur, which explained the pain and required treatment. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of in‑depth analysis, diagnostic effort, and attention to patient care at Orange County Podiatry Irvine. This experience caused unnecessary prolonged pain that could have been addressed much earlier with proper evaluation. I would not recommend this practice and strongly suggest looking for a specialist who takes the time to fully investigate and diagnose the problem. read more
