We spoke on the phone, exchanged a few texts and emails, and in no time he had confirmed his availability, offered a fair and reasonable price, and sent me a professional contract that clearly outlined responsibilities and expectations on both sides. The way he handled it gave me immediate confidence. The next day he followed up with more thoughtful questions, asking me to clarify exactly what I envisioned for the event so he could be sure he was preparing the right equipment and the right approach. That kind of follow-through showed me that he was serious about getting it right. In the days leading up to the event, he checked in several more times.
