We are very happy we went with Yennis party rentals for our daughter's quinceañera party this past weekend. In the beginning, we over estimated what we needed and Arlen made some solid recommendations as this was our first major party. We were permitted through the process to eliminate items and add more. We made a deposit early on and final payment and final edits one week prior to the event. Star was super helpful emailing the updated invoice. The day of the event, they arrived early and set up at Woman's Club of Orange. Arlen was their to guide staff with our table set up design and plates and glassware. We were very happy with the look. We did have hired staff who rinsed dishes and glasses; and returned to dishwasher crates. At the end of the evening, staff arrived to help with takedown and cleared the place within the hour. Overall, we rented Plates, Glasses, gold flatware, napkins, table linens, green runners, wooden padded chairs, cocktail tables with linens, and the double seated throne for my daughter's quince ball gown. While Denise was quick to reply and update my invoice, the company could work on delivery in a timely manner. I was charged $175 for EXPEDITED DELIVERY and additional $75 for delivery - that's a total of $250 for delivery alone and they still couldn't deliver in time. I waited 4 hours for them to arrive on a Friday. My event was for Saturday. If I had had them deliver on Saturday, they would've been soooo late and my guests would all be standing - with no tables or chairs. They've been quick to reply leading up to the event and charged my cc. But when asked to refund me my EXPEDITED DELIVERY fee... crickets. As someone who is also in the event planning business, I expected more from Yennis. I will not be using again and would not recommend to friends, families, or vendors. read more

Reached out to Yennis PR a few days before my event for simple 4 tables with chairs. Response was OK at best. Slow to respond. Semi professional. They were quick to request payment, but that was where the quickness ended. Delivery was supposed to be 10-12. I contacted them at roughly 12:30 since I didn't hear anything and he said "since you added a couple tables last min it changed your delivery time". Which of course they never said. But OK. Whatever. He said they are already on their way. Should be there in 30-45 min (or whatever he said). 30 min later I get a call from someone saying he wants to confirm my address cause they are bringing the rentals. I said OK go ahead--expecting him to know my address. He did not. Didn't know the number. The street. The city even. I'm 100% sure that if I didn't reach out asking where they were that nobody would've shown up. I give him my info and he says "ok they are on their way. Give them ANOTHER 30-45 min. They guys who come are fine. Although they park in the driveway automatically without asking. Which is quite odd without asking. Thankfully their truck didn't leak any oil--so no harm no foul. The chairs that they delivered (wooden chairs for a premium price) were pretty trashed. Many were broken and unsafe to sit on. Couple guests commented on theirs that when they sat it over extended the seat. Luckily I ordered extras. They looked fine--from 15 feet away. Not well taken care of. Tables were fine. Pickup--no response. They said "Monday or Tuesday". Haha. I reached out Monday to ask an ETA. No response. No surprise. Nothing Tuesday. 5:30pm on Tuesday someone parks on my driveway again--fortunately I was here to open the gate. Definitely would not use them again. So many companies out there, I'll find one that's organized, responsive and professional and give them my money. 2 stars is fair. read more

Had a last minute bounce house need, and Yenni's Party Rentals came in clutch!!! I was driving on the street and saw their truck in my area, so decided to give them a call to get a quote. The price was super reasonable and beat the other price quote I got by $30, so I went with them. The absolute WORST customer experience I've ever had. Yennis Party Rentals used to be my go-to for all of my family's events. Over the last couple of years, I've placed several large orders with them--sometimes multiple times in a year--and always appreciated their great service and smooth installations. Sadly, that all changed with my most recent experience. My usual representative, Aurellio, completely ignored my repeated calls and emails despite the fact that we had always had a great working relationship in the past. Every time I reached out, I was told he was "busy" or would get back to me by the end of the day--yet that never happened. I was eventually forced to work with another rep, Elia Trejo, who was extremely unprofessional. She overcharged me for items I had rented just six months ago, with prices dramatically higher despite my order being for fewer items. On top of that, I had to chase her down multiple times just to receive a quote, and when I finally did, she pressured me to "confirm ASAP" while refusing to answer basic logistical questions. For a loyal, multi-year customer who has also referred others to this company, the lack of respect and customer care was shocking. It's clear Yennis Party Rentals no longer values long-term relationships or customer loyalty. I have since chosen to work with another rental company that was not only more professional and responsive but also offered significantly better pricing and actually valued my business. Good party rental business overall. The biggest thing about this company is that customer service is amazing yet lacking. They're extremely polite, kind, and accommodating, but communication can be inconsistent and almost absent. It is understandable that they are very busy. Therefore, getting a hold of them for a quote can be a challenge and receiving responses as told sometimes does not happen. If you want their service, prepare to be patient and persistent. However, whenever you are able to get a hold of them, they are friendly and professional people, and they also offer great prices for party equipment rental. THE INQUIRY PROCESS Wednesday: I first noticed their business on Yelp and went on their website to look at what items they offer and the prices. Their website is very detailed and helpful. I saw that we're able to request a quote through the website. In the request message, I mentioned what items I needed and provided my email address and phone number. Waited at least 48 hours since that's how long the website said it could take for a response, but I never got a response. Friday: I called them around 4pm. No answer. The automated outgoing voicemail mentioned that they can be texted at that same phone number, so I texted them right after. No response. Saturday: I tried calling them again around 11:30am. No answer. So I called their Cerritos location. My phone call was answered by a woman, and she politely asked me to text her which items I was looking to rent, and she told me she'd message me back with a quote within an hour. I texted her within 10 mins after we hung up. She never responded. Sunday: I tried calling this location's phone number again around 11:40am. My phone call was surprisingly answered immediately within the first ring. I was helped by Aurelio who asked me what my party needs were, kindly answered all of my questions, and ensured that I received my quote via email. To sum up the entire process I experienced of trying to get a quote to finally being able to make a deposit to book them (obtaining an initial quote, adjusting/finalizing my quote, proceeding with booking them by asking where to make the deposit, and asking other general questions), it was pretty difficult to get in contact with them. Texts were never responded to, and emails were responded to over 3 days later after I had called them asking for a follow up. The most reliable way to get a response from them was by calling, but even then, my call was missed about 80% of the time. THEIR SERVICES I contacted a bunch of party equipment rental business that I found on Yelp in the OC area, and Yennis had one of the best prices. They also seem professional for the most part where their website is informative/organized and the price breakdown is provided as a PDF document on their company letterhead. The week of my event, I was told I'd receive a call about 45-60 mins ahead of time on the day of their arrival to set up the equipment, but I never received the call and they showed up at a time that was somewhat unexpected. The rental items they provided to me (20x30 tent, white padded resin chairs, round tables, and cocktail tables) were good overall. All the chairs and tables were dirty and dusty, so we had to wipe all of them down. The tent walls were a bit dirty with a noticeable tear in one of the walls. However, the equipment served their purpose and were all at least stable with no worries during our event. read more

We used Yennis Party rentals for our wedding in October 2022. They were so helpful and came through with everything we needed. Aurelio was also very patient and responsive to the fact that I had to make some changes pretty close to the date and was freaking out on my end, but he made sure we had everything we needed and quickly updated our contract when changes took place. They do not answer their phone- voicemail is always full and cannot leave message. Texting? Don't bother- no response. I've rented many times from them before and now during COVID-19, they went above and beyond and did not disappoint. I opted to rent a water slide inflatable. However I naturally had questions. Disinfecting and sanitation was at the top of my list. They explained everything and I inspected upon arrival. All looked clean. I still cleaned it when it arrived but really, it didn't need it. Pick up times and drop offs are a breeze. They are very flexible and work with you. Only gripe- the slide had minimal leak via the slide and partially missed the water containment basin. So, expect a bit of water run off. No big deal. The point is to get wet but it's be nice if it held it all. It's tall... very tall. You'll need about a 15x25 space for this slide. If i could give the option of no stars I would. We had a small wedding reception that was planned prior about 1-2 months in advance. The communication skills prior to event was terrible it took us about 3-4 days of non stop calling from myself and another individual to finally get them on the phone to even discuss our event. On top of that they didn't even bring enough supplies for the event let alone staff to prepare prior. They arrived on time with 5 individuals and left only two to set up an entire event for an hour an half. The two guys who were there took their sweet time and we started to help them set up our event because their manger didn't account for anything. Guest started to arrive and we had to have them wait until we were still helping them set up on top of us having to get ready. I would most defiantly not recommend this party rental due to their lack of professionalism, communication, preparation, and timing especially due to their pricing. read more

Rented them for a wedding over the summer and they arrived late morning of the wedding to set up the chairs and canopy when they were supposed to set up everything the day before. We were told they were going to be there the day before the wedding to set up. We kept on calling them and they kept on saying there were coming until 11 pm or so they said they were not coming.
