Awwww, Springfield is gettin' so metro! Proof lies in this new fro-yo joint on Republic Rd... it's just like all the fro-yo shops I go to out in Cali. Expcept... better than some actually because I can tell it has a pretty decent quality of frozen yogurt (self-serve) and tons of toppings to choose from (except my traditional peanuts). Some toppings I'd never even seen before... what WERE those lil yellow balls that pop in your mouth and taste lemonish? By the way, they charge by the ounce so you only pay for what you put in your bowl. :) That being said, they did an excellent job decorating with colors and tiles and furnitures. The place is super clean and has lot's of space. Good thing... there was a huge line when we got there and people were still standing outside eating. It's definitely worth trying. It tastes just like Ice Cream but is waaaay healthier. We were gonna go to Andy's Frozen Custard that night actually but I saw Orange Leaf on Yelp and decided to cut my calories and fat by 90%. haha DELICIOUS! See ya there!

Great place. Excellent yogurt, the kids absolutely love this place! Prices are fair. The photos tell the real story here. But the perk is that you get to fill up a cup to the brim for a single price. Lots of variety of flavors and toppings.

Wow, best meal I've had out in a while. The lowest heat option had just a little burn but not lingering, sauce was flavorful and umami without being too salty or overpowering the other flavors, noodles well cooked (al dente), tofu was firm with a nice chargrilled flavor (you could tell it was actually grilled), and there were some nice fresh additions like broccoli florets, shredded carrots, cilantro (and maybe mint?), plus lime slices. The single portion was huge, enough for two meals easily, and a steal at less than 10 bucks. My husband got a (huge!) burrito with chicken, mojo sauce, and fresh guacamole and enjoyed his as well. They have local beers and kombucha on tap, and some nice looking homemade desserts. Atmosphere was pleasant, modern hotel lobby, quiet, with nice large windows. The lady at the counter was very friendly and smiling the whole time she interacted with us. Food came out fast but it was clear they cooked it to order. Eating my leftover noodles for lunch and they're still on point next day and after being nuked XD All around great experience. We'll be back!

They must have made mine with the heat, because it was so spicy that my eyes and nose ran. They just threw some shredded chicken on top that was seasoned to be taco meat... not kidding, it tasted like chili powder, cumin and crushed red pepper. So I had spicy chicken taco meat on top of super hot Asian-flavored noodles. (The flavor of the noodles was great, without the spice and taco seasoning, hence the second star). The Thai basil chicken was bland, flavorless, and dry. Felt like the chicken had been fried awhile go, then reheated. There was about one basil leaf shredded on top. I had to give my spicy taco chicken to my husband who at it with the plain rice, while I ate his "basil" chicken with my noodles. The presentation was beautiful, though (pic taken after I stirred up the noodles). Both plates looked amazing, but the flavors didn't live up to their looks. Needless to say we won't be returning.

The inside was dimly lit with tables as you walk in and to the back. There is also an outside seating area. We ordered at the register and our food was brought out to us. The menu is easy to understand, but the staff was able to answer all of our questions and explain different menu items in detail. Everyone was nice and welcoming. I got the Hotstone Bibimbap (suggested by the lady who took my order because it continues to cook when served, making the rice crispy and vegetables hot. I chose white rice topped with bulgogi and spicy shrimp. For sauce, I chose Sesame and Kochi to a little add extra kick. I had the kimchi put to the side. It also came with a miso soup . This whole combination was so delicious. Stayed hot the entire time and was plenty enough to share. The Yaki Soba, which is a noodle dish, was also very flavorful, came out fresh and hot. The Japchae was equally delicious and full of flavor. The sweet potato noodle of this dish was different, but still pretty tastey. I recommend leaving this for the experienced eaters. Lastly, we tried the kimbap. It was a typical kimbap, nothing stood out. Everything came out fresh, cooked to order, and hot. The price for everything was very reasonable. I would dent come again.

This family-run spot does a great job with authentic Korean-style fried chicken--light, ultra-crispy, and full of flavor without the heavy grease you get at typical American spots. I ordered the half chicken with the sweet & spicy yang nyum sauce, and it was addictive. The skin had that perfect crunch while the meat stayed juicy and tender inside. The sauce hit a nice balance of sweet heat that kept us coming back for more. We also tried the soy garlic and honey butter versions--every piece disappeared quickly. The portions are generous and the prices feel reasonable for the quality. Service was friendly and efficient, even with our bigger group, and the casual no-frills setup made it easy to relax. The only real letdown was the kimchi. It was homemade and fresh, but it wasn't spicy like it should be--missing that signature kick and tang I expect from good Korean kimchi. That took it down a notch for me, especially since everything else delivered. Still, if you're craving real Korean fried chicken while in the Branson area, K Fried Chicken is a solid choice. We left mostly happy and would probably stop again, just maybe skip or ask about adjusting the kimchi next time.

They offer varieties of sauces to try with your burger & fries, they bring a small tray with each sauce. It pains me to write this, but after tonight I have to. We've been going to Macadoodles for years,…read moreand they used to be great. Our last 4 visits though have been terrible. One visit, on a weekday, we visited when they were apparently really short staffed. The workers made sure to tell us all about it and even seemed annoyed that we were taking them away from their jobs when we wanted to check out. Another time, when I asked about one of my favorite craft bourbons that they used to carry, the clerk went on to say that they didn't have it any more and basically gave me a big explanation about how that brand just wasn't very good. I appreciate that everyone has their own tastes, but flat out insulting a small craft brand, that one of your customers really likes, isn't the best way to make more sales. Then tonight's experience...My wife and I stopped by to restock. I don't like my kids to stay in the car by themselves, especially in certain parts of Springfield, that have a larger homeless population. Nothing against them personally, but when they're walking around loudly talking to themselves, why grabbing their junk, I'd rather not leave my kids alone in the car. So on this night, we had our teenage son come in with us. Didn't buy anything crazy, my wife likes Mike's and I got a new local beer from SBC. When we got to the counter, my son touched one of those small bottles of liquor they have at the counter. He didn't pick it up, but he did turn it to see what the label said. The clerk immediately stopped the transaction and asked for his ID. We told her that he wasn't 21, but she wanted to see it anyway, so he showed it to her. She then informed us that she would not serve us, because he touched a bottle and he wasn't 21. I was totally confused, so I asked why, and she told me it was state law? She said that she had suspicions that we were buying alcohol for him. Huh? Do you get a lot of husband/wife teams in buying for minors? She wouldn't budge, so we ended up having to leave. VERY embarrassing, especially on a busy evening in a crowded store. Really sucks, because my brother-in-law and I frequently went on bourbon hunts in this store and left with 5-6 bottles of bourbon on multiple occasions. One less store for me to hunt now! Do yourself a favor and hit Brown Derby instead. Their staff is a lot nicer and the prices are usually a little cheaper.
