Every time we brought up an issue it was made to be personal and we were always told wait until the project is done and it will be fine. I realize we were demanding, but this project was very important to us and as the project progressed we had reason to be concerned. We realize the owner had a family crisis and we had stressed to her that if she needed to delay for a while we would understand. When the lead worker said he was finished and would be back during the next week to install mirrors and vanity doors we asked him about some areas that did not look right. He said we should submit a punch list for them to review. We sent the punch list to the owner and asked her to come out and look at the items with us. We told her that it was necessary in order for her to plan for materials and labor required to complete the project. She refused and chose instead to no longer honor her contract and to walk away from our project. Here are a few items that are on the punch list. 1. The shower floor drain is improperly installed and is a cut hazard for your feet. 2. The area under the shower entry threshold was not grouted or sealed and water will flow under the threshold to the floor. 3. Three of the side splashes on the vanity tops are installed upside down. We have no doubt that they may do better work on other projects but if you pick them you should ensure that you have regular walk throughs with the owner to ensure they are providing quality throughout the project. Some things are easier to correct sooner rather than later.

Everything went mostly according to plan (thanks COVID) and really we only had a few time setbacks due to that. Just a day or 2! The people he sent to do the work were totally competent and easy to get along with. Showed up early and stayed late. Most surprisingly was that there was zero mess. I was still given a functioning kitchen every night. The job they did was beautiful and the end result was better than I even thought it would be. They removed old tile, put up new that they helped me choose, did those gorgeous wood shelves and repainted all our cabinets. Gave us new hardware and kept everything spotless while they worked. When I had a small issue they came out that day and fixed it, and then went on to do the same minor fix on every drawer! We were super impressed. I can't recommend them highly enough. He never saw the space, but we sent lots of photos and all the dimensions. It is incredible that he could do it sight unseen. All the cabinets fit perfectly, the moldings were exactly the right size and closed the space right to the ceiling. Our appliances fit exactly right. Nothing really went wrong! The cabinets are high quality and shipped directly to our condo from the manufacturer in Minnesota. Jamie was always available by phone to answer questions. It was a very positive experience.
