Warm greeting from Francine and Stephanie. They were also very helpful as I am disabled and needed additional help (a step stool) to get inside the helicopter. Me and my gf tried the Malibu Mountain Top Landing tour. To sum up the review, everything went extremely well. We were 20 mins late because we chose the 5pm slot and it was rush hour. The staff were very considerate when I explained it to them and everyone was just so friendly and accommodating. We still had the full experience even if we were late. But don't get me wrong. Make sure to make adjustments and anticipate traffic. Don't be late! When we got back, there were other people waiting for a ride so you also have to be considerate! When we were already flying, our pilot knew LA very well and gave us a detailed tour of the city. We were amazed. Looking at the city on ow altitude flying is way more beautiful than viewing it in a plane so make sure to bring a camera and take LOTS of pictures. One of my biggest regret was not taking a lot of pictures so you definitely should. And our pilot seems to already have a lot of experience so it felt very safe! As we reached the mountain top, I actually expected less. But both our jaws dropped to amazement. The place is magical. This is the PERFECT place to propose to your gf so I did! I honestly couldn't think of a better place. When we landed, our pilot setup our picnic table. We had a short hike while he was setting it up and when we got back, he left us and gave us privacy while I prepare for my proposal. With this kind of proposal, it would already be an easy yes. The place is totally isolated and intimate with scenic views of malibu mountains and malibu coastline. I was very hesitant at first because of the price but this was one of the best purchases I've ever made in my life. A day in our lives we will never ever forget. Definitely one for the books! My boyfriend surprised me with a date here! Then he also surprised me by dropping a bomb on me that I would be flying the plane. First instinct? Panic. However, our pilot Drew was super amazing. He gave great instructions and while flying he definitely had a lot of patience. All the staff was also super friendly! My boyfriend booked the "Ultimate Helicopter Tour of Los Angeles" for my birthday which was my first time in a helicopter and it was SO MUCH FUN! Our Captain, Cam, was friendly, knowledgeable, fun and and made the experience even better than I could have imagined. Time flew, and our 45 min tour seemed like 10 min to me. We got tons of great pics of Venice, the Hollywood Sign and Cam even pointed out a bunch of the starts homes which was fun. We'll definitely be going back to do the "LA Live Tour" so we can see the city lit up at night. He landed on a platform that had about 8 extra inches all the way around. Awesome! The helicopter was new, clean and quiet. I've been on two other helicopters and this was about half as loud. Even so, we spoke through headsets. The views of L.A. were stunning we went at sunset (highly recommended). The helicopter has lots of glass so you can take pictures beneath you as well as up. Made a reservation online for a helicopter tour after finding them on Groupon. However their website deals and options are quite extensive definitely more so than other companies that I had looked into. They have a few package deals if you are looking for a romantic date activity or a celebratory events like gender reveals, graduations etc. Their most popular experiences are the landing ones one in DTLA atop a building and the second on a Malibu mountain top. They have adjusted their experience for covid with a one party check at the office. Masks are required for all trips but did not take away from the experience. Our guide was a very professional pilot from NZ who guided us through the trip and the best picturesque spots. highly recommend the sunset experience to be able to get a little bit of the day and evening views. The LA Live experience seemed like the best option since you do get some views of the ocean. Recommend checking out this company and trying out some of their tours. Tip: helicopter tours are closer to the views than the plane tours by a mile. read more

Albert was our photographer and Skylord (A.k.a. Skyler) was our pilot. Both of them were completely discrete to make sure I had zero suspicions. The helicopter ride was amazing (it's LA, of course the views are amazing) and so were Albert's pictures! They were both super funny which, I'm sure, helped calm my boyfriend's nerves leading up to the proposal. Albert went above and beyond to make sure we go the best pictures (and bonus videos) of our special moment.
