They charge an obscene amount for such a limited time; you would think they would get their shit together. Why in the hell is Sprint LTE faster than their "Broadband" services? SPRINT!!! For Gods sake Sprint has arguably the worst internet service for a mobile carrier and it all but obliterates Orbit all day any day. Maybe this is a symptom of business in the Rio Grande Valley? I've also used their wireless service and it is very poor. Latency is bad and today it was so horrible it took me 10 minutes to sign up for Yelp and confirm my account! Customer service is abysmal, they don't return your calls, and they take a long time to show up to do repairs. When they do show up to do repairs the employees acted rude and weird, telling me one reason for the repair and then another. When I demanded an explanation I was told there was no point explaining it to me and to pay them anyway! AVOID!!! This isp is total GARBAGE! It is literally THE WORST. DONT BUY IT. They have retarded rates. I am paying 80 dollars a month for not even 3mbps and it sucks!!! I can barely watch any low quality youtube videos if im lucky on a good day. Dont even attempt to game on this internet, its possibly the worst in the world. It used to be somewhat decent the first few days i got it with ping in the 50s and 70s so i thought i was gonna be fine and game forever but no. Not at all. My average ping now is 150 and it will never go down no matter what. My ping levels have stayed in the 150-400 range and sometimes spike up to 1000. There is no point in even trying to game anymore. The customer support sucks as well, might as well be talking to a wall. They will NEVER respond to your emails or pick up the phone, and when they do, they dont know what the hell theyre talking about. I have had a customer support lady ask me what ping was and what the download speed means. Theyre absolute garbage. The times i manage to contact them and tell them about my ping i am totally ignored. I have been calling every single day for weeks and possibly months to no avail. Not even a single attempt to get this fixed. Apparently this "engineer" will always fix it "tomorrow" which means never because its been weeks hes been saying "tomorrow." Overall this internet service sucks so bad that i wish i could give it negative stars but unfortunately that isnt possible. The ONLY reason i have this isp is because for some reason, NOBODY ELSE LIKES MY STREET. Time warner cable, comcast, ANYONE refuses to provide my street service even though all houses around my street have their service. They tell me my street isnt possible.
