Emily gives me undivided time and attention, listens to my wonky ways of describing sensations, and really teaches me how to do the exercises before she sets me off home. I've been able to see specific improvements in movement and reduction in pain in just a few short weeks. This is an awesome small business devoted to physical and psychological well being!

My husband had his left leg amputated in May. He sees Emily. She has been great. He needs to…read morestrengthen his core and specific muscles for the prosthetic leg. She has been instrumental in getting him to work on that. He is now in leg #2, the fancy permanent one. Emily had the prosthetics people from Evergreen Prosthetics come in and give an inservice so the staff would all know how this mechanical marvel works, and works with my husband. His arthritis has flared, so progress has slowed a bit. Emily helps with the arthritic discomforts, giving him stretches to do. I am so pleased with the individual care, the attention to safety, and the general enthusiasm of staff. My husband is looking forward to walking again.

From the moment you walk in you are treated with kindness, respect and dignity. The front desk is managed by a kind, hardworking and fabulous gal who will bend over backwards to help clients. Then, after you're checked in for your appointment, you are led back to a large room where the OTs treat all the patients in one room. This can be a bit noisy, but it also allows for a collaborative care effort by the Occupational Therapists and a sense of community for us patients. When you can't use your hand(s) like you have previously been able to, it is a very lengthy, disheartening and discouraging event to go through; so to have that sense of community with other patients matched with the care and dedication from the staff at the Gabbert Clinic.... It really puts your heart at ease. I can say with certainty that there's no better place to go for treatment. I am so grateful to all of the staff at Gabbert Clinic! Yesterday I choose to walk out of my child's appointment because I could not bare to see her cry the entire session. My daughter has autism and often gets overwhelmed but Julia could not handle it. She became extremely overwhelmed; Walked away from my daughter numerous times, Raised her tone and voice at my child which is not acceptable. I decided to give her two stars because our first visit went alright with no big issues but yesterdays visit has made our family decide not to come back. There was many more things that went poorly but I personally do not believe in dragging her career through the dirt. Instead we will just never be returning to Dr.Julia

Sarah (of Gather and Grow) was a wonderful help to us when our daughter was unable to take a bottle…read moreby 4 months and I was preparing to return to work. She came to our home and immediately seemed to sense what we all needed in terms of guidance and support. She gave us exercises to strengthen our baby's oral motor muscles and coordination, and also supported up with insights into her development and personality. Sarah also made herself available for questions whenever we needed, which was a huge help through the learning process. With her assistance, our daughter learned to drink from a bottle readily and gained overall strength and coordination. All of that made her transition into daycare a breeze, and put my mind at ease knowing she would get all the milk she needed without a struggle. Sarah is warm, intuitive, and extremely knowledgeable, and we'd highly recommend her for anyone whose baby is struggling with feeding/eating challenges. It's easy to assume that babies who refuse a bottle just can't or won't ever learn to take one, but really there is so much you can do to help them acquire that skill. Brian had been recommended as a in-home PT for me by my surgeon's PA, as well as my PT at OHSU. I…read morewas told by Beyond The Clinic that Brian(an owner) was leaving the company in early June. My Surgery is June 13th. So, I was then assigned Trevor to be my post surgery in-home PT. I waited for literally weeks to hear back from Trevor, who was to be my PT for in-home care post surgery. When Trevor did call back weeks later, It was to say that he was leaving the company and therefor unable to be my PT. This after my leaving multiple messages with the front office(and one message for him in person with the company OT). Also, I was notified of Trevor's leaving with less than 1 week out from my surgery date. Now with 2 days left until my surgery date... well this is a very uncomfortable, and worrisome place to be. 2018 #11

It's great too since we only use what I have, so I have less excuses for not doing the exercises ;) I have a bulging disc and pinched nerve and wasted four sessions with another PT who was no help. I learned great stretches and exercises the first time Ben arrived at my house. He is very knowledgeable and provides great guidance and instruction on how to improve things like posture. I learned a lot of stretches and strengthening exercises over a few sessions. Ben was always on time and is super nice and personable. Today was the last session that I needed, at least for now, and I was sort of sad to say bye! Thanks, Ben!!!
