Food came, the self-serve buffet we ordered came and then it was cleaned up and they were gone at the perfect time. We actually didn't notice! The next day they picked everything up they had brought and left zero mess. They were also super friendly the entire time. We had beef, salmon, salad, bread etc. and it was cooked super well and was delicious! Especially the beef. We appreciate how in touch they were with our timing. I was a bit nervous when they said they would stick to our timeline but keep an eye on the vibes of when food should be ready and they really delivered. Gavin was also incredibly available leading up to our event and just nice to chat to overall.

We can only parrot all the negative reviews on here. Gavin promised so much that never came to fruition, including a Mezcal wall that could only be described as serving bitter liquid that most people took one sip and put down. The food was ordinary and there was NO water. We had discussed the water situation prior to the event because Gavin deemed the water "undrinkable". After discussing the water purity with the owner of the venue, I was told the water is perfectly fine. I sent a message to Gavin explaining we would use the water on site. The problem arose that the catering staff only filled the water glasses 1/2 full and only brought ONE PITCHER to the event. EIGHTY people and only ONE PITCHER! People were asking for water all night and one person (not even the staff cause they all went home) was running into the venue (it was outdoors) filling ONE pitcher at a time of water and trying to accommodate 80 thirsty people. Additionally Gavin told me to purchase double the wine and beer needed for a party of 80 and NO ONE brought up the fact that not only was there no water, but no non-alcohol beverages. I would have gladly purchased the additional beverages had someone noted that there would be no other beverages such as lemonade or iced tea provided within the hefty $100/person price. I would note that as a caterer that should have been in the beverage discussion. Seeing as my daughter had not thrown any events to this magnitude, she was unaware to ask. So we had 80 people, only 3/4 drinking alcohol with awful cocktails, no water and no non alcoholic beverages. Two of the guests became dehydrated and got ill. Do NOT under use Asher and Olive under any circumstances. He is beyond expensive, the food is mediocre at best and his attention to detail is pitiful.
